Hi, I would like to add a seamless sticky audio player running at the bottom (I found a player but the plugin author said the website has to be an ajax site for it to stick and play continuously even when other pages are loaded). is this possible? Hello – I just updated to v10.3.1, and there is now a problem where the td-icons (e.g., search magnifying glass) don’t load. There’s just a box with a question mark in it where the icon should be. I tried reinstalling the theme and deactivating all plugins… no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you -joe

Hi there, I noticed that I am no longer able to add Youtube videos to my website. The videos are all public, but when I go into the WP bakery builder like I always have, select Video Playlist, add the youtube video IDs, but the videos don’t show up. Here’s a link with an example. http://horizonarmtv.com/shows/ladies-first/. These are old videos that were added, however, if I try to add any new ones from youtube, they don’t show up. Videos only show up if I add them with an EMBED code, but I liked adding them to the playlist, because it makes them look more organized and clean, like a playlist.
Last time I was able to add videos without problem was January. Help? If I update my support license, is this something you’d be able to fix for me? We are a TV station and bought this theme for the flexibility of adding videos.
I contacted WP Bakery Builder support and they said the Video playlist feature was added by theme developers (you guys). Please help, thanks!

Please make sure that you are using the last version of Newspaper, v 10.3.1 and also make sure that you set the Youtube API key in theme panel as in our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/youtube-api-key/ From now on, please note that YouTube changed their API and you will need to create your own API Key according to the above documentation if you want to receive good results with your videos on YT. Thank you for reaching us. By default, that element work as properly. It could be a CSS problem at your end and this aspect might be caused by your untested plugins or something like that. I suppose that problems comes from your lazy load module from Rocket plugin, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cAXJdSEcGsB Try to disable it, together with your all of untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge the CDN files and check the results.

The problem is more to do with the theme background /background image and Background Gradient Color than anything else. Rocket has been removed and replaced by WP Super Cache and the problem still exist, plus the site is a whole lot slower for this change.

How to disable AJAX view count? It’s slowing down site loading time by 2s. I already removed view count element from the cloud template but it’s still loading in background. Please find below screenshot from GTMetrix:

The wp-memory looks fine, but it depends on the number of plugins that are active. You could try to increase it and try again. Also the issue could be caused by plugins, you can test it by deactivating them all temporarily, and check if the issue is solved. If you already tried these suggestions, we could take a closer look. Exactly like that there isn’t, that section is custom made for the theme demos presentation page. Since update 9.5 The infinite load can be activated in a cloud single template as mentioned here for example https://tagdiv.com/infinite-loading-for-single-posts/ The option is general. It is not available for posts using the predefined post templates if that is what you mean. Most demos will load fonts, this is part of their design. The theme uses Google fonts, there are quite many that can be used, if I’m not mistaken there are almost 1000 fonts available. No need to download the fonts, simply select them for the elements you want and the theme will load them. There are also options to load up to 5 custom fonts if needed. Unfortunately there is no list I can provide with all the fonts, if you would like to use specific fonts for the website, let me know and I will check.

At the moment the theme default fonts can’t be changed for the whole website, they can only be disabled. You can set different fonts for the desired elements, with the provided settings in the panel or composer, but the default fonts can’t be changed in general. This may be possible in the future, can’t say for sure. Sorry for any inconvenience.
