In the top bar, you can add either a menu or simple text, including some HTML tags. You can’t add Javascript. However, you can use CSS to style a menu item in a way that it looks like a button.
Just create a new menu and add at least one menu item. Assign the menu to one of the top bar menu locations. Then, go to Theme Options and on Header > Top Bar select the corresponding menu location to appear on any one of the top bar columns.
To make any menu item look like a button you can add a bootstrap class like
btn btn-primary on the CSS Classes (optional) field on the menu item.
If you can’t see the CSS Classes (optional) under the menu item, make sure you have activated the option on Appearance > Menus. Use Screen Options on the top of the window to unroll the options and fill the box next to CSS Classes. Then go back to the menu item and the options should be available.
To fine-tune the appearance of the button you may need to add a couple of lines of custom CSS (like the border-radius property that allows for rounding the corners of the button).

Another thing you can do is add a WPBakery Page Builder element. Just create a temporary page and switch to the backend editor. Add a widget (like a Plethora Button), adjust the content, and save it. Then edit the page with the Classic Editor and copy the shortcode (which looks like a few lines of simplified code). Copy all the lines including the tags. Then, go to Theme Options > Header > Top Bar and paste the lines on the Default text field on any one of the top bar columns.
Example: let’s paste a button that appears on the home page of the original Healthflex demo. For convenience, we provide the lines here (but make sure you check it out yourself)

This is an integrated WordPress option. You need to go to Dashboard > Settings > Discussion > Default Post Settings and clear the box next to Allow people to submit comments on new posts; then Save Changes.
At this point, the comment box will not appear anymore on new posts. For the rest, you will need to manually hide the comments on each individual post.
thanks for the reply, I have disabled the ability to comment from the dashboard but it doesn’t work. The comment box is still active

as mentioned before, the option will apply to new posts only. To deactivate the comments on a post already published you need to edit the post. locate Discussion and clear the box next to Allow Comments.
If you are using the Gutenberg editor, this option is located on the right column, on the Document Tab. On the Classic Editor, if you can’t see the Discussion options, you need to open the Screen Settings (on the top right of the window) and fill the box next to the corresponding option. Then scroll down and you will be able to access the options.
After deactivating Comments, visit the post and the box should have gone away. Repeat these steps for every post you need to remove that box.
One more thing; if someone has already added a comment, it won’t go away. Although none will be able to add a comment, the existing comments will still show up. If you need to remove past comments you will have to trash them or change their status into “unapproved”.

@plethorathemes, where in the UI can the Google Maps API key be updated? My map is showing ‘For development purposes only’ and I cannot find where to make an update to the API Key setting.

Thank you very much for your interest in HealthFlex. Unfortunately, HealthFlex does not fully support Elementor until this moment ( meaning that the theme elements cannot be managed directly via Elementor, as they do via WPBakery Page Builder ).
You can use Elementor though, given that you will use its own elements
Is there a class or ID for the header when using sticky mode and it is in the ‘stuck’ position at the top? I want to shrink the logo & maybe header hieght when using the sticky header, is it possible to do that?

It is not necessary to use any special selector for this, as there are dedicated option fields on the logo vertical margin and max height for large, small and extra small devices. You can check them in the Theme Options > Header > Main Section // Logo / Logo Position section.

Hello. I am seeing a problem where after I hit “NO” under display bottom button of a teaser box and save, it still shows the button. It just changes the text to “more” instead of my custom text but the button won’t go away!

This is an issue already fixed. Please make sure you are using the latest HealthFlex 1.6.5 version. If you are using the latest version and you are still getting this issue, try to delete the problematic teaser element and create it again.

Hello! I am trying to edit the teaser box for the visitor center sidebar, and I do not see the area to edit this. I don’t see it in the classic editor or the page builder view. When I try to edit it in the widgets area for the pages sidebar it just breaks the link and the image won’t change. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hello, how to change the background image in search result page header? Thank you.
Hello and thank you for using our theme. The search results page shares the same header with the blog roll. To change that image, log in to Dashboard and edit the Blog page; then select a new Featured Image and Update the page. If you need to change the content type of the area, go to Page Options and locate the Media Panel tab. Depending on the Background Type you choose, new options will appear allowing for choosing the actual content. As mentioned before, whatever change you make there, will apply on the blog as well as on the search results page.

Regarding the first question; the search results page follows the same rules you set for the blog listing. So, if you need to stop author and date info from being displayed, go to Dashboard > Theme Options > Content > Blog > Post Listings Options and turn them to position Off. Then, Save changes and make a search. As you can realize, the particular information will be hidden in the blog listings as well.
Regarding the second question, this was a known error but it has been fixed in the latest version. If you still haven’t updated to the latest version of Healthflex, please do it now and the problem will be resolved.

We assume what you need to change is the home slider. To do so, log in to Dashboard and go to Plethora Sliders. Select and edit the Home page slider. On the slider, you can change the individual settings for each one of the slides, including the captions, the images, etc. After finishing, click on Update to let the changes apply.

Yes, I was looking exactly for this one, thanks! Another small question: I use the Contact 7 form, which already was there with the demo site. I just edited the Contact Form 1 (new messages, new destination mail etc.). When I send a mail via the formular, it says me, that the mail was sent successfully. But since yesterday, I didn’t recieve any mail neither in the spam folder. I also changed the destination mail to another one, still does not work. Whats wrong? Thansk.

There may be a few reasons why the emails are not received, although none of them are actually related to the theme itself
First, make sure you have added the correct email on the Mail tab of the contact form. For better results, make sure you have registered the mail to WordPress by creating an account with it.
If the mail is still not received, you need to check if the mail function of PHP is activated. Typically you can review that setting on the hosting panel of your account. If you can’t locate it, you can check with the provider. By the way, check if the hosting provider is intentionally blocking emails for preventing the exploitation of its mail servers. Or they may are blocking a certain region or have other restrictions.
Last but not least, you can add a plugin like Easy SMTP to direct mail through an external server.
If you need to ensure you are not missing any messages sent from the form, you can also add Flamingo, a plugin that locally stores messages on a convenient place inside the WordPress dashboard you can review anytime. References:

El PHP y WP estan actualizados a la ultima version, tengo todos los plugins instalados y activos. Utilice la importacion de demo para crear la web mas rapido, se ve todo bien, pero no encuentro el porque me genera el error ´´Ha habido un error crítico en tu sitio.´´ esta web la estaba utilizando con joomla y no tube problema. Si en WP desactivo healthflex y activo otro tema, el problema se resuele ¿porque ocurre esto, si en localhost funciona bien? Saludos

i created english and arabic pages manually. i don’t use WPML plugin. I see an option below of the page settings “WPML Language Switcher”. Is there any way how can i add buttons on homepage for selecting “arabic or english”? I need a button on home page.

There are several ways to add a button on a page. On the menu, on the top-level items, you can add the special </ibt bt-primary class (use WordPress Screen Settings to reveal the Extra Class(es) on the menu items). On the page, you can use the WPBakery Page Builder to add a button. Finally, you can add the a button on the sidebar with a few lines of HTML on an adequate widget.
However, is a totally different case to use the button as a multilingual switcher; we are not sure if you can achieve that without a plugin.

As mentioned before, this job is better done by a plugin. In fact, the plugin will show the page according to the language of the visitor (which is assumed by the location as identified by the browser).
You should be able to create menus for each language but it might take you some time to create a structure in which the content will not be mixed. Moreover, the plugin provides additional features (like translating individual theme’s texts) and much more.
If you think about it, for any website worth building the (minimum) cost of a multilingual plugin should not be an issue.
i would not to use plugin. My opininon i will build one page for every languages. So i need convert only menu items

In any case, it’s yours choice. The theme allows for showing a diferrent menu on a page. You only need to go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus, create a new menu and assign it to the Single Landing Page Navigation; then, edit the page you need the alternative menu and locate Page Options (by default is located under the main editor). Then, on the Header Elements tab, on the Main Menu options, from the drop down list next to Main Menu Location select the Single Landing Page Navigation (in which you have assigned the alternative language menu). Don’t forget to Update the page to let the changes apply.

The theme supports four (4) menu locations. You can review them in Dashboard > Appearance > Menus. Check the Menu Locations tab. For an implementation like the one you need (two languages), two menus (one for each language) should be enough. Note that, the original concept for individual menus was not for adding multilingual support on the site rather than adding a few places for user-friendly navigation. It can serve your need for only two languages, though. We can’t think of anything more to contribute to this project.

As far as we know, it is a bit tricky to style only a single page for RTL in WordPress; if you set the site in RTL mode, WordPress adds the .rtl class to the body. The solution we provide in our KB article covers this case. If you need to continue using an LTR site and style a single page for RTL then you may need to replace the .rtl class with the page .id which is unique for each WordPress installation.

To assign a slider in any post or page, edit one and go to Page Options (by default is located under the main editor). Next, go to Media Panel tab and make sure Display Media Panel is set to position Yes. Next, make sure you have selected the Slider as Background Section. Finaly, from the Select Slider drop-down list select a slider. When finished, don’t forget to Update the page to let the configuration apply. As you realize, you should have created at least one Slider to be able to assign it on the Media Panel.
With this I discovered that the slider does not work on my home page and its works on any page. What can i do?

There is no out-of-the-box way to change the font size of the slider’s caption. However, you should be able to achieve that relatively easy with a few lines of custom CSS. You only need to locate the CSS class(es) of the caption with the browser’s inspector and then apply the font-size property with a new value. Since the slider (like the rest of the theme) is responsive, consider adding custom font-size for the particular text for all screen sizes (using the @media rule).
You can add the new rules on Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS which is the native place for adding custom CSS on WordPress or on Dashboard > Theme Options > Advanced > Scripts & Styles > Custom CSS which is the dedicated field of the theme.
we are not familiar with CSS coding, can you please provide the code and well replace the font in the code – we just need the 1st line with the big letters

A simple inspection of the homepage reveals the following classes are used to apply the style to the main title of the caption
.caption .inner .t1
You only need to create a rule with these classes. To create a rule, add the property between two brackets { ... }. As mentioned in our previous response, you need to use the font-size property. To make it more simple, use the em value in order to maintain a relative size between different screen sizes. Eventually, you can have a rule similar to the following:
.caption .inner .t1 { font-size:2em; }
To fine-tune the size, change the em value. Note that, you can use subdivisions of the unit (counting from 0.1). Just make sure you are not using extreme values as the title will become either too large or too small to read.
its not the size that’s the issue, but the font itself, b/c the numbers are not on the same line as the text
