“Preview” button/functionality is TOTALLY BROKEN in this theme, and support knows it and doesn’t care – you can’t tell this until you buy the theme and go to the support page, and then they tell you that Preview has never worked in this theme.
I can’t believe this theme gets the sales it does (including my own money) when a core functionality that is absolutely vital to WordPress is literally gone and they have no plans to fix it.

“Preview” button works of course. Maybe you misunderstood something thus we are going to explain. “Preview” button let you preview WP default editor content without saving it. But, if you refer to Muffin Builder, it uses WP custom fields and it has to be saved due to security reasons before you can preview it. So there is nothing to be fixed as we built it according to WP API.

When editing pages as described in your documentation, the “Preview” button does nothing – it does not show the changes that have been made. You must permanently save the changes before you can preview it. The only way to make Preview work is if you switch off the page builder entirely and code it manually. It’s ridiculous to say that WP API prevents the use of Preview with a page builder – no other page builder (I’ve used all the major ones) breaks Preview. Just saying “it’s a feature, not a bug” doesn’t prevent it from being a bug.
We are very sorry to hear that you do not agree with us but WordPress custom fields does not support Preview feature and it is independent of us. If something was done according to WP API, can not be a bug. If you do not agree, you can always send your request to WordPress developers.
Hi – BeTheme is one of our favorite themes! Where can I find detailed directions on updating the theme? When WordPress updated to version 5.4 it crashed my site. Now, when I try to login to the admin side I get a “critical error message”. I tried updating my theme but that also crashed my site. I was able to restore it from a back up from a couple days ago. Can you please help get everything working properly?

Hi,
if your current theme version is older than 20, you have to update it manually. The best way to do this is:
1. Go to your FTP and remove whole /betheme/ folder.
2. Later, download latest version from Themeforest, unpack and upload latest version via FTP as well.
Above 2 steps are all you have to do to update theme to it’s latest version.
Since now, you can easily do all future updates via Update to [version number] button which is just under the Be logo on the right side under BeTheme > Dashboard section.

Please remove Slider Revolution plugin completely and install its most recent version from BeTheme Options > Install Plugins section. This should help.
Will I lose my current slides if I remove Slider Revolution? Should I remove & reinstall the slider before updating the theme?
No, you won’t lose any slides as they are being stored in database. It does not matter if you will remove&reinstall before or after theme update.

Hi, i have a problem to add Google Fonts to the theme. I can upload 2 different fonts, that’s ok. But if the site tries to load the different font weights, it can’t find them because I’m loading e.g. the 300 woff file. It’s so hard to load them locally if you’re using different font weights. Is there a way to combine them to one single woff/ttf?

Trying to install beStore demo content. I have ALL the plugins requested installed and activated. I also have all the requested value in php.ini for beTheme requested (the system status have all the parameters checked in green).

Hi, in the last couple updates we noticed a huge 30px margin added to the top only of all the footers. When we compared the code with sites not yet updated we noticed this difference below. We have to go into every site and edit the css code to make everything look normal. When will this be fixed?

Hi, you changed it for sure. Look at you versions of layout.css. Under .widget, it now has margin-top: 30px, this was not in the previous versions. I am not sure which version switched it, but one of the last few.

Ok, you are right. Forgot we had to do this to add sticky sidebar feature that many customers been asking for. If you want to go back to previous solution, just go to BeTheme Options > Custom CSS & JS > Custom CSS section and add the following css declaration:

why are u tagging elementor into your BeTheme ? i installed it but looks you don’t really support it… ? are u scamming people ?

the answer is very simple, we are tagging Elementor because plugin is compatible with BeTheme. According to many customer requests, we spent some time testing both together and they are compatible. So, NO, we do never scam people as we do never announce compatibility unless we won’t make necessary tests carefully enough.

but its impossible to use your demos… you have tutorials how its works ? documentation ? because i tried to edit… but all your contents are inside Muffin Builder into page options…. nothing to do / see with Elementor ?
Maintaining compatibility does not mean that we transformed all pre-built websites into Elementor. It means that BeTheme and plugin works together without any issues.
Pre-built layouts were built with Muffin Builder tool which is much lighter, easier in use and faster. We did not built those demos with WP Bakery (previously known as Visual Composer) or Elementor because it’s an additional plugin and in reference to right agreements, we can not force users to use 3rd party plugins. Also, for many users, Visual Composer and Elementor just doesn’t work right because plugin is quite heavy and requires much better hosting service than Muffin Builder.

I need to request a refund on the BeTheme I purchased yesterday. None of the pre-built themes will load. It says it is loading, however, after about 1 minute it gives an error “an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.” I have reset the site database several times. I do not have time to troubleshoot on this project and need to move to a theme that works. Thank you for your assistance.

I deregistered and deleted it from the first one but if I try to register it for the second one I got the message “Purchase code already used. Hi! We use your theme for almost all of our client websites. Thanks for giving us some exciting options to work with.
While attempting to do a page edit today, we noticed that the “Visual Editor” stopped working? It in fact disappeared. We tried to troubleshoot by: 1. Updating the theme and WordPress Version 2. Reinstalling theme 3. Deactivating plugins and then turn them back on.
