Hi please update this theme. Its outdated!
There has been a critical error on this theme plugins. I had crossed-check with my hosting provider and got confirmed that its the issue with plugins. Its been years you guys released update for this theme!

I think you have the best looking knowledge based theme, it’s sad that you didn’t update it for the past year or so. I would have loved to see it compatible with Elementor.

If that page is missing from your import, you can use the shortcode in any page:
[knowledgebase-listed-filter number_of_products_by_category="-1"]
If you want to use the shortcode in WPBakery page builder, simply search for “MT – Knowledge base Filter”.

This is possible by overriding the shortcode “knowledgebase-listed-filter”. If you are a developer, you can override it by following this tutorial (it is not for this exact shortcode, but you can use it as a starting point).

You can browse for icons on flaticon.com (there are plenty of icons line icons there), download the one you like, edit it with a code editor and then Copy and Paste the content in our shortcode: https://i.imgur.com/PutW8mZ.png

How can i change the paragraph font type from the one that comes with the theme, the default font is too faint, I want to use Arial, i have tried all i can but its not changing, all other fonts change though.

Quick pre-purchase questions:
1) Can I see how a user creates an information in the knowledge base, is this a custom taxonomy or a simple article (in term of a wp article) ?.
2) Also, can we create multiple category that will be linked together in this kind of page (see here : https://wikb.modeltheme.com/knowledgebase/getting-started-what-is-next/). I would like , for exmple, a page named GETTING STARTED and another one called ADVANCED USER that will display different “chapter” in the accordion.

1. A knowledgebase can be created directly via the page builder. It is a custom post type.
2. Each knowledgebase article can have multiple categories selected (the category is a custom taxonomy). So yes, multiple categories can have links to the same knowledgebase article.

There is also an issue on the forum thread page, on the Purple bar, below Bread crumbs, where there is written : Author {{EMPTY SPACE}} Posts {{EMPTY SPACE}} .
there should be the username of the author displayed there and posts counts ??!
the footer Login UI , is also kind of messed up !

Never in my life have I seen a theme so complicated to customise. Why bother having colour options in the theme options if 90% of the content on the page is styled by hardcoded CSS?

This feature can be easily added using a plugin such as Content Control – User Access Restriction Plugin.
The knowledgebase articles can be also password protected using the default WP option.

1. is there any way to restrict access to content only for logged users? 2. users have some custom login/profile edit or at least not the usual wordpress admin area? 3. can you provide screenshots about organization of articles/content/tags/etc? After initial setup, users with basicaly zero knowledgement will update data… 4. some articles will use attached files. is there some fancy layout or even separated area on post to this type of content?

1. You can use a plugin (such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/restrict-content/ ) to restrict content for logged in users (the forums can already be restricted to logged-in users).
2. The theme comes with WooCommerce. The account that comes with WooCommerce can be used as a custom user dashboard.
3. Please, be more specific about this request. More details will help us.
4. Any kind of content can be added in Knowledge base articles(photos, videos, galleries, lists, etc). The WPBakery page builder is set for those posts.
