Hello, I updated the porto theme and the shopping cart icon (minicart-icon2) does not appear.

Please go to Porto >> Theme Options >> Header and remove the Mini Cart Icon code from there save changes and check your site after removing the browser cache.

This is your Child Theme Customization issue, Please contact your developer to check your Child Theme Customization issue otherwise, please delete the old Child Theme and create and use the new one I am sure you will not finds this issue anymore.

First of all, please make sure that you are using the very latest version of the Theme and Plugins, If not then please update and check again and if yes then let me clear one thing.

We have recently added the latest Demo’s of Gutenberg and Elementor plugin in our latest update of the Theme, So if you are trying to Import the WP Bakery plugin Demo then please deactivate the Elementor plugin first and then try to Import the Demo and same as for Elementor Demo Import you have to deactivate the WP Bakery plugin, Otherwise, these both plugins will conflict with one another.

Hello my friend, sorry to bother you again but i have another question. Does your theme support multiple cascading sub-menus? On your live previews the basic situation presented is Menu -> Item -> Sub-item. My client have the need of multiple subitens, on a very complex category tree. Can the Porto Theme do that? You can check all the Possible Menu styles on our Demo site, You can add multiples sub menu items as per your requirements, but you can only set the single row in Menu Menu sub Item popup not multiple rows, for that you have to use Custom CSS or you can try with any third party plugin which better meets your requirements.

Please turn it OFF/Un-Check from Porto >> Speed Optimization Wizard >> Lazy Load and click on compile button and finally check your site after removing the server, site and browser cache, I am sure you will not finds this issue anymore, and it is clearly written in Lazy Load section that:

Disable this option if you have any compatibility problems.

So, your site has compatibility problems with Lazy Load please do not use it.

The issue was reported 26 days ago by a member, I am sure hundreds out of thousands of your customers must be in trouble by this, as store functionality got affected and instead of coming up with quick-fix you guys are busy doing cosmetic changes and building demos for Elementor.

We are talking about real stores here which got affected, not the demos on your theme.

Please fix it ASAP/ release a patch, or give me an older working version so I downgrade it to have a working site.

Really sorry for the inconvenience, Actually when that issue reported at that time the last update of the Theme already ready to release, that was the reason it had not been resolved with the last update and we are working on the new Theme update and some of the small issues will be fixed with the upcoming update of the Theme and we have to test it as well before releasing it, and I have just confirmed from the development department and they replied its almost ready too, you will find the new update of the Theme within a week. Please be patience till that.

1. Things you should do first:

|.   Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
||.  Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
|||. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
|V.  Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V.   Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it

Please see this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/4ntD6XjS , This is clearly showing in the below-given screenshot that the Speed of the site is slow because of the Images has not been optimized and Compressed and because of JS and CSS has not been minified and because of the Server as well.

Porto Comes with default Speed Optimization Wizard Option, you will find under Porto >> Speed Optimization Wizard, So you have to use it and Minify the JS and CSS from there as well and use any third-party plugin for Compressing and Optimizing your site Images and also use server cache as well.

This is a fair and honest review: I bought the theme and expected to install, install demo end have it up and running without issues.

To install the theme, child theme, and demo you need an active license, which is totally fair, then you need to fulfill some server requirements, which is also fair but not stated beforehand, especially for possible clients who have no access to making changes on their server.

Otherwise, you need to install with an ‘alternative’ solution, which did not work properly on my end.

After changing the server config and installing demo data, it still does not look like the theme I selected.

Fonts are not loading properly.

Editing the footer I realized that making changes on the pre-designed blocks dont get reflected on the main page, therefore I had to copy the Html from the original block, add it to a new one and change the block from the widget area.

I like the theme and if it simply worked as it shows in the demo i’d give it 5 stars, however, the fact that for a simple installation I have to contact support and that the documentation on some areas is vague ie. blocks editing and arranging, has me at a fair 3 stars now.

And yes, i know… I will contact support so you help me sort it out…

And Porto WordPress Theme also works perfectly on low server configuration as well. If Alternative Import not working fine for you then please check once after removing the cache and same as for your Footer, Please read and follow every step of this article:

I was trying to install the demo into my website but the php max_input_vars needed to be 2000 and they were set to 1000. After speaking with my hosting provider they helped me change it to 2000 but the system status from the theme is still reflecting that it is on 1000.
