Hi!
In the previous version, there was a page template used for the forgot password page when we click the forgot password link in the popup box.
We have created that page using the shortcode that you provide for this. The page exists and we can view it from the WP pages. https://tinyurl.com/y9lvm9mb
If we click the link in the box though (https://tinyurl.com/y9lvm9mb), it redirects to the WP standard page for a new password. Is there anything we need to set to use this page for this purpose?

make sure you have the new pages set, so in WorkScout Core -> Pages you need to assign page for Lost Password and Reset Password, those need to be regular static pages with Default template, and have in content [workscout_lost_password] and [workscout_reset_password]
after that, enable option “Enable Forced Front End Login” in WorkScout Core -> Registration

The text in the doc tells:
“To set it up correctly you need to create some new pages. Below is a list of pages you need to create, and what content whey should have. All those pages need to have Page Template set to “Dashboard Page””

That’s why I did it that way. Might help other customers if you correct that.

We are now playing with the new update on our test server. Most of the features work as described.
We face one issue with the emails for registration / messages / conversations. We haven’t received any of them yet. We use the “Post SMTP” plugin to send our emails.
Have we forgotten anything to set or change?

Hi! I’ve been using your theme for like a year now. I’m quite happy with it and are updating to version 2.0 currently. I have one big request. I know there were a few questions in the past: WPML would be ultra amazing. The theme now has pretty much everything we can wish for – except for a rating system maybe. WPML would allow us to do international business which might not be be just our plan, but certainly the vision of many WorkScout users. I would like to ask you to think about this.

Hello, thanks for the new update but i noticed a serious error on the navigation menu when viewed from mobile though i don’t know when this error started.
When i opened my site from mobile phone, i opened the navigation menu and try to scroll by robbing my finger across the screen as usual when browsing on mobile.
But surprisingly, the menu disappeared and the entire phone screen and browser got freezed and stop working until i restarted my browser. This usually happen when you tried to scroll on the site menu page on mobile.
In my curiosity, i had to tried to verify this error in the following way:
1. On different browsers, the same error occurred
2. On different android phone, the same error occurred
3. I tried it on different websites on my phone to see if that is the general way websites work on mobile but i never experienced that error on other sites
4. This last trial made me believed that the error is from your theme. I had to visit theme forest from mobile phone and opened the live preview of your theme demo, i opened the navigation menu and tried to scroll up or down. the same error occurred on your theme demo. The menu disappeared and the entire page and my phone browser got freezed, hanged and stop working until i restarted my browser.
Kindly dig deep into this error and fix this bug in the theme.
Fixing this error is necessary because sometimes there is need to scroll through menu list when browsing on mobile.

However, this new update has affected my site speed somehow.
I have invested so much on my site speed and i usually monitor my page speed closely on daily basis using GTMatrix speed test tool. So i can easily identify when there is a drop in speed and trace the source.
I usually get a Page Speed Score of ’’A’’ (93%) on GTMatrix. i have tried to maintain this score.
Immediately i updated to version 2.0.11 i decided to run a speed test again with GTMatrix using different browsers.
Surprisingly my page speed score dropped from ’’A’’ (93%) to ’’B’’ (80%)
Below is the error report i got which has never been there before i updated:

That line was not reported by GTMatrix and is not in my workscout/css/

Hello, after a few emails without many answers I decided to list the bugs I found here.
1) Necessary fields. On the “Post a Job” page, when the “Job Category” field is not filled in, it displays the text (this field is required) at a wrong place and does not disappear when you scroll down or up the mouse. Also the “Description” field, if not written, puts the cursor lower than the text box, in a wrong place.
2) Search pages with map. The function “Set zoom with scrollwheel” doesn’t work. I want to turn off scrolling, especially for mobiles it is a big problem.
3) Tag select. When we select a tag from a job. The “change category list” doesn’ t work and the type of the job doesn’t float correctly.
4) Overlapping type. The type of the job is overlapping the proposed locations in the page “Post a Job”.
5) Register. When you click on the register button the screen goes down very low. If you put something wrong a message appears which you can’t see if you don’t scroll up. And then it sticks there even if you change from register to sign in.
6) Sign in. The link register now doesn’t work.
7) Home Page Buttons. There was a problem with the background color of “Iconbox” buttons in home page, when you hover. You must see it with Mozilla Fierfox.
8 ) Carousel. The property “Visible Elements” from carousel doesn’t work.
9) Resumes. The property “Allow editing of pending resumes” doesn’ t work.
10) Company. At a company page I have no titlebar.
11) Messages. If we send a message to a candidate or to a Job and then you would like to send again a problem arises. We must refresh the page because the message is still there.

Is there a way to add a job refresh option for employers?
and can I remove the job logo from the listings? I want it to show when you open the job, but not when you do a general search.
I figured out how to remove the logo. Another question, i need to alter the text in the in job details form used when you post a job. How can I do this? I’m using this in the US and need a state and city option so the location filtering will work right.

if you set it so the password is generated and sent to user via email, it works like email confirmation because user needs to have real email to be able to login to your site. There’s option for that in WorkScout Core -> Registration Options

However, is the user restricted from inputting any information/logging in, until they have checked their email for the password, and then logged in?
My understanding was that whilst they may be sent the password, a temporary token is still created after the initial registration, so they are effectively logged in, and can input data, which is not want I would want.
I would want to force the user to retrieve their password before gaining any sort of access to create a resume or create a job.

when I post a job it doesn’t display the rates entered but it does display the salary. I’ve looked through all the settings and can’t find anything that will change it. Ideas?

With the update, all my loco translate has been delete. How can we avoid that in the future, please ?
To remove rate remove the Rate filter from options in Job Listings -> Settings -> General.
Regarding translations, when you create translation file it asks you for the location, you should choose a path that is in wp-content/languages/, for existing translations you can use option Relocate when you open the translation in Listeo Core to move them from theme folder

Since the release of workscout 2.0 pagination stopped working on browse resume page. I thought subsequent versions would fix the issue but i have installed all your released version, up till the latest one 2.0.9 yet problem remain and nothing seemed to have changed in my site in this latest released not even the changelog in 2.0.9 in your knowledge base. When i click on next page in resume page the page loads, the pagination disappear and page does not move to next. your advise has always be helpful, please i need your help this time. I just double checked to be sure but there’s no problem with that on latest version, and no one so far reported any issue with that since 2.0 release. Maybe you have something customized in child theme that makes problem here, or maybe you didn’t update all included plugins and WPJM plugins?

- free (7 days) - paying (30 days) - premium (30 days and featured)
I would like add another job package :
- star (30 days, featured and display in job spotlight)
But actually the job spotlight widget display all featured jobs (premium and star).
Do you know any solution to restrict job spotlight widget to display only my star listing package ?
