We had an outside designer create a site using Uncode a few months ago. With the most recent theme update (2.2.8.1), our resource page (https://www.bluvector.io/resource/guide-machine-learning-cybersecurity-2020/), used to have and 80/20 page left to right split with download area to the right. Now the page has the download area below the copy area. Been trying to reverse engineer the problem from our staging site (which doesn’t have update) but can’t see if this is a bug that we caused or might be an unexpected bug with update.

We are sorry but really don’t understand what you mean with “used to have and 80/20 page left to right split with download area to the right”, anyway we exclude some bugs with the update otherwise here we should have had hundreds of similar reports. Anyway, if you need help please ask the user who created the website to contact us for support, it’s not possible to help if it’s not possible to verify the purchase. There are some rules here to limit piracy, we as an author, also have to abide by the terms of the contract with Envato (ThemeForest) which is in the marketplace’s own interests.
Understood. By 80/20, I meant that the width of what the table was like two columns with one being 80% (the textual content) and the right being 20% of the space with the download button and cover image. The update made the 80% 100% of the width the table and moved the 20% to a new row below it. Let me reach out to the original creator as we do have a verified license.

Hi blackbookdesign! You should use the Media Translation Add-On since basically these are info attached to the media. Anyway, since Uncode is one of the WPML certified themes, their support takes care to support possible compatibility issues.
Oh the add-on is installed (I am pretty versed with WPML) and when I access the media translation that field is not shown and it’s not shown on the frontend of the 2nd language as well. I’ll give them a shout to see if they know more.

After 2 years I’ve just been back onto the website Daffodil Soup (http://daffodilsoup.co.uk) to make some changes however the ‘Single Media’ block has stopped loading on the frontend of the website. When I delved a little deeper into this issue I noticed that the Uncode theme has deregistered in the System Status.
Do you know why the theme is no longer registered? And could this be causing the issue with the ‘Single Media’ block?

Hi! We are sorry for this issue! The problem is related to the fact that you have an old version of Uncode. The old registration system uses the old Envato API (that is now deprecated and has a very slow cache system) for the Purchase Code verification. You should update to the new version of Uncode that uses the new Envato API and a faster registration system with only the Purchase Code. I’ve just activated the woocommerce store on my site. www.waconcept.com. For whatever reason now my website is not displaying correctly. If you go to it, you’ll see a large amount of black space at the top of all pages, and the menu has disappeared. I have since deactivated the woocommerce plugin, but it hasn’t fixed the problem. I’ve restored the site to a previous date twice now, and each time I’ve reactivated the store the issue comes back. Please help.

Probably you have also other plugins (like the one I see in the code) that create the issue or you are not compliant with some server requirements. Unfortunately, from here, it’s really not possible to understand your problem if you have an issue that no other users reported (by the way if this is a problem of Uncode here you should see thousand of similar messages). Try first to deactivate ALL extra plugins and possible Child theme.

When it comes to responsive web-design there is not a perfect size, this needs to be tailored on your target (in a few words a photographer probably will need better images, but these are also heavy). Hi drtheeb! Please note that we any mega theme you can’t expect many better scores on Page Speed because this test penalizes the use of many scripts (then check from any other Uncode-like theme). Of course you can optimize for all other tests like GTMetrix and for users (to get a really fast site). All of a sudden my footer is not centered. I am using the widgets full width footer and I’ve change some css to force it to move, but it still won’t move back to center.
I also had all my “titles” at the same font size, height, and weight, but the social follow widget changed back to bold and it’s not at the same height anymore.
Not sure what happened, but we had made the changes accordingly, and they randomly switched to what you see now.
I’m trying to get everything at the same height (or padding) and move the footer back to center. Right now it’s all the way to the right.

Hey, great theme so far and really customisable
At the moment we are running into a slight problem on our website though, we are using your Media Gallery to display some videos and filter them via the given filter option.
We would very much like to pre-filter the selection when the page is opened via a different link (or if this doesnt work by default instead of the show-all, a different tag should be set by default).
Is there any possibility for doing this and if yes could you point us into the right direction of how to go about it?

Hey guys, great theme so far. I had a problem which made me mad and I kind of solved it. So maybe this is useful for others or maybe you can tell me if my solution is going to screw up something else or maybe you want to use it.
I noticed on my iPhone 7 that when I used the isotope grid (metro masonry, no gaps between images like in your demo) and I had two elements in one row and the width of the two elements combined was one pixel less then the width of the browser window, there was a one pixel gap on the right between the last element in the row and the frame of the iPhone screen.
You have that in your demo, too. Just go to https://undsgn.com/uncode/works/portfolio-full-width-metro/ and open this on an iPhone 7 (or simulate one in chrome) and you’ll notice when there is one image per row it will fill the whole width of the screen but when there are two images they combined are one pixel less wide than the one image and there will be a one pixel gap on the right.
Well this kind of annoyed me and I solved it by editing
style.css line 9159 (or next to it, I added a few lines):
added “width: calc(100% + 1px);” to ”.isotope-wrapper.no-gutter” thus making it larger than the screen. This will hide one pixel width of images in rows with only one image (or where the combined width of the row equals the screen pixel size) but it will get rid of the gap in rows where the combined width of the images is not identical to the browser window.
Might be of course it will lead to other problems but so far everything seems fine.

Edit: In your Demo you can only see the gap in landscape mode because your images are too large to fit two in a row in portrait mode.

Hey, yeah I know it’s not your fault but a common isotope problem. I just seem to have found a solution that works fine on this template and gets rid of the gap. Thought it might be useful and wanted to leave it here so you or others can try it out.

There is a bug that breaks Content Blocks on Footer:
Found that my footer was not rendering spaces correctly on homepage but when visiting other pages the footer was rendering correctly.
Problem: On homepages the footer is included outside of “main-container” div. This wouldn’t be a problem but classes like “double-bottom-padding” only work when they are placed inside ”.main-container” so none of those classes work when the footer is on homepage and is using content blocks.

Sorry for not catching up sooner but I installed the theme on a local server and started inspecting each element on my content one by one, turned out that I had an extra on the homepage that I didn’t see the first time.
I was mind blown because I could see that in footer.php the footer tag is called only once and couldn’t figure out what was going on.
I guess the website that I visited on your showcase had the same problem as me.
