I’m adding/updating portfolio items however they keep disappearing or not appearing at all. Each item is set to open on a page. So far there are 11 items but only 8 showing. There were 9 showing but I edited an existing one and it disappeared? My client is editing these now so I require an urgent fix. Of the items that do work when I go to their pages the portfolio at the bottom isn’t working properly either on some of them – total mess! I purchased this theme a year ago so licence has ended but I shouldn’t need to repurchase a licence to get this fixed.

Firstly thanks for this great theme! I have some small issues for my website while developing a website with the Gem and I thought you help me for my issues: 1- I was trying to use https://codex-themes.com/thegem/blocks/preview/grid-18/ on my development website and instead of background image for video (which it is a lake image in your demo) I wanted to put a video and choose “Use video background for row background and put the video link. On desktop its working fine but in mobile the video not shown and its just showing a blank white area… Could you please check and let me know how can I fix it?
Also I used contact form in same blocks but cant find how to put some gaps for contact form.

Hello, i have a small question, where should i see the z-index of each container on a page? I’m trying to do the stacking of elements as i wish but template’s own blocks are always at top level. The new sticky blocks are being at lower levels even tho i changed z-index to 9999 or even higher. I’ll appreciate if you can help me fix this small issue

Hello, It seems to me that the Revolution Slider for “gem-cryptocoin” the one containing the animated particles of the globe has its slide autoplay function disabled via css or js code. Could I please have the unblock function, so as to get the autoplay slide function to resume as should. Thank You

I love this theme – I did purchase – but obviously there is a problem with particle animations on the slides when importing – (seeing the volume of people with the same problem) I have tried manually importing and through demo install – numerous slide with particles – animation does not work on ANY slide that has it. Apparently you have to contact support to get this resolved. Well my support expired, because original client didn’t want to use the theme way back then, so I finally get around to using it – and animations don’t work—So now it’s useless to me if I can’t get a simple answer to fix animation without paying again.

Today we updated our TheGem theme to the new version of 4.4.1.
We use the Blog Extended Grid in our homepage displaying two posts and after the update when we click either of the posts that are displayed a new window opens as the parent window loads the post. This confuses the user thinking that the page is blank since the new window is blank.
Either way this should not happen. To temporary solve the problem we have edited the template gem-templates/news-grid/content-item.php at around line 416 and commented out the link like so:

Essentially removing the link with the class icon self-link. But doing show we lose the icon on hover, but it’s not that important for now.
