There is some major misunderstanding here. The Token permissions you set allows access to downloading the theme files, our prebuilt websites and the bundled premium plugins. We do not store that info on our servers – the token stays only on your WordPress installation. If you remove the registration info/Token from the Avada registration page in your WordPress Dashboard e.g., you will notice the access to download premium plugins is removed.

So if you wish, you can keep no Token there, and will be able to manually install the theme, plugins and our prebuilt websites (via the alternate demo downloda method).

For the patches, as the message states, we do not collect any data that can be used to identify you. Its only anonymous data like your WordPress version, PHP version and allows you to receive timely patches that are compatible with your WordPress/PHP versions.

If you have further queries, please ask away and we can discuss this further but we take user privacy very seriously and follow industry standards to ensure this.

I dont care about your privacy policy since I did not purchase the theme from your website. I purchased it from envato (themeforest).

I know you can lock some parts of your theme as demos, etc. However, you did not state that in your sales page here on themeforest so I did not know that i have to grant access and if you tell that is misunderstanding … well how should i know if the token is not send from the patches with the other information which i did not agree to be send? Can I? So now i have to spend the time to investigate how secure is your theme because you totally disrespect users privacy. When I say you i mean avada theme not you Abbas.

Is simple as that “We do not store that info on our servers – the token stays only on your WordPress installation.” You have send information out from my website without asking for permission and I can not be sure what or when you are going to send next time.

In everything that we do, we take privacy very seriously, and there is no dissemination or storing of any personal information anywhere and at any time. As is the case here, API’s are used to validate only specific data. An API is a set of routines, protocols, and/or tools used for building or managing software applications.

Now to clarify and explain how this all works, there are two points to note:

- When you register the theme via a secure token key that you generate, no personal information is stored, and the data validated against the Envato API is as follows http://bit.ly/2KXk3eJ – There is no personal information. Once registered, the system verifies that the purchase is valid, and then you can install the two required plugins.

- To display the patches (in the Dashboard) that are relevant to the installed themes version number, the following information is sent to the US server for validation https://d.pr/i/eMR3ES – As you can see and at no point is personal information stored anywhere, which is made clear.

So to summarize in layman’s terms, the first point above is to register securely and to assist us in mitigating piracy. For the second point above, the patches you see in the Dashboard are specific to the version of the theme you are running. If you are not running the latest version of the theme (for example), you will only see the patches related to that specific version of the theme. Patches released for (example) version 6.2 cannot be applied to version 6.2.3, and so on.

We do have a floating (sticky header) option in our theme however something exactly similar is not a possibility right now, we are soon releasing our next version of theme that is 7.0 and it will have the option where you can create your own custom headers

The variation images definitely work in our theme without any issues, please make sure that the product is set as variable already, also try disabling your 3rd party plugins and check again with the issue, if however it persists please open a support ticket and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi, I did see the variation thumbnail image on product page, but when click one variation image (for example one specific color), the image won’t display in the image zoom. I have found many users also found this issue in some forum and website and solved when disable Avada theme, so I believe it would be some fix with the theme.

Hi Abbas—Yes I have tried the ‘Name Of Menu Anchor’ Option In Containers and Menu Anchor Element methods, but neither worked. (The second option might, but the padding on the Menu Anchor element would be too large.) I am trying to use an icon for a link to the anchor. Could that make a difference?

If this is something that broke after the transfer – then I’d recommend retrying the transfer with the popular Duplicator plugin. That gives you a single export file that you can re-import on the destination site/installation and avoids such issues.

I’d recommend testing with the parent Avada theme and disable all extra plugins besides our fusion plugins to see if that helps.

Hi Abbas, It seemed to work fairly fine after the transfer but… it was very outdated and it’s after the updates that it all went wrong so I’m thinking it’s a settings things perhaps.

If you updated from version 3 or 4 of Avada, those require a stepped update method as guided below. Updating straight to the latest version can lead to issues as those versions are several years old.

For this, you can setup a Theme Builder Layout for just Events archive pages where you can override/customize the Title bar to have a different word show there.

Thanks for your reply. I have been using the amazing Theme Builder options with great success. However, for this particular problem it would be a lot more work than we would really need/want to do. Surely it is possible to amend where the word Archive comes from in the source code?
