I am not sure what is wrong, my guess is that it is caused by your caching plugin, try to clear the cache. Make sure your Appearance / Customize / Typography is the same as on your development site same as any Custom CSS if you are using any.

Are you sure you named your .po / .mo files correctly and placed them into a correct folder? Also, some strings can be found in both theme and plugin translation files and have to be translated in both places. Feel free to share your URL where I can see the srting which you are trying to translate.

Copy both bluecollar-xx_YY.po and bluecollar-xx_YY.mo to your WP installation under wp-content/languages/themes and that’s it.
It is NOT supposed to be in the theme folder, that path is relative to your WordPress installation.
I have made a folder change, but nothing changes, see link for screen print file.

Again, it has to be put under wp-content/languages/themes – this path is relative to your WP instalation, NOT a theme folder.

HI. in the service boxes, you can reorder their position, move the service boxes from bottom to top, there is a plugin for this. when I insert a new service, the other services move, and lose their main position.

HI, it’s simple to understand, included services for example 5 services, the first “plumbing” service, it is positioned as the first service in the upper left of the screen,if I add other “services” this moves and can also arrive in a position at the bottom of the page. for example, I want the plumbing service to always remain at the top of the list of services. you can do an update of the SERVICE plugin, making it possible to choose the prevailing position of a specific service on the screen (visible)

Just use the Intuitive Custom Post Order plugin to change the order of services. It is easy via drag and drop, so even if the new service somehow mess your order, changing it to what you want is a matter of seconds. Or do not use plugin but change the order by changing the service post date. The posts with the latest date shows first and vice versa. So if you want to have a service always as last just change its date to some very old date, if you want to have a specific service as first, then make its date as latest and set the older date for any new service you can add.

Hi,
you can use service like Icomoon in combination with some 3rd party plugin or custom coding. Or just use a 3rd party plugin which adds some new icons. Please note that customization is not included i the theme support.
I would also highly appreciate if you could change your rating, since you based it on some things which were simply not true. This theme certainly doesn’t need “CSS programming” to achieve what you can see on the demo and it doesn’t rely on another site to use built-in icons and you definitely do not have to “call a programming technician” to use it unless you lack the experience which is hardly the problem of the theme. all built-in icons can be found here.
Where exactly in the manual you’ve read about that link you’ve shared? Icomoon can be used if you want to create your own icon font and load it, but that is outside of the theme support scope.

No, I do not have plans for that.
I see the instructions on using the icon pack that was included in the theme. I do love the icons, however I am using the theme for a technical company site. I need technology icons. When using fontawesome, icomoon or any other plugin, the shortcodes do not work within the service pages: Service Icon Class Insert icon class name. For example “icon-cog”. Please refer to the documentation to learn more about icons.
Please advise how to use fontawesome or alternative icons within the designed service pages.
Ideally, if I can update the existing icon pack with additional icons, I would prefer that rather than installing an unnecessary plugin for icons.

when you are using a 3rd party icons library, it should work the same as with the built-in ones. Just use the correct icon class (with the prefix class if required). For example for FontAwesome you can find all the icons and their classes (names) here. Just click on the icon to see the CSS class. However make sure your plugin is actually using the latest version of FontAwesome with the default configuration for class naming (it should be explained in the plugin documentation somewhere). If it doesn’t work then either the icons doesn’t exists in the plugin you are using or you are using a wrong CSS class name.

Thank you for the quick reply! I am still having issues however. I have done the following: 1. Installed WP SVG Icons – All default settings, and saved default config. a. None of the icons display, and the class is the same ‘icon’ 2. Updated the original font with added icons, re-uploaded and added the css details for the references (ex: .icon-area-circle:before { content: \e900”; }) to ensure the css was not being overridden. a. Still not able to call the icons from the update. 3. I hope I am explaining this properly. I can place icons anywhere there are tools available (visual editor, wp bakery, etc..). The problem is on the “Service Settings” Section of a Service Post. That is where the icons will not display.
I have read your documentation several times and I cannot find the details to make this work for me. I simply need to update the icons on the front page widget that displays the services and their featured images.

“Updated the original font with added icons” not sure what you meant by that, but do not change anything in the parent theme, ever. Generally, there should be no need to even touch the code for this purpose, since you are using a plugin for your icons, but even if there was some code customization needed, it has to be done via a child theme. But don’t jump ahead and let’s take look at your site first.

https://paste.pics/9AKWBYou can send me a PM, however I guess I already know what the issue is. This icon set is using the same class prefix as the built in icons (“icon-”), which shouldn’t happen. Take a look into this plugin’s settings if there is not a possibility to change the prefix to something more unique. For example FontAwesome icons use something like “fas fa-name”. “icon-” is way too generic and should be reserved for themes.
Alternatively, and IMHO the optimal way, is to build your own icon font via service like Icomoon. You can create your own icon set with only icons you need, saving the bandwidth and it will allow you to set your own CSS prefixes as well. You can then use this plugin to load the font on your site.
You are correct, here is the method I used to facilitate the additional icons to be added with a new class prefix. I created the icon package through icomoon like any normal package and exported the font (with a custom prefix). Then to import into Wordpress with ease, I used the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-fonts/ from Brainstorm Force. It was meant for their other plugins, however it works well with using more than one icon set. Now I can choose between the theme default ‘icon-’ prefix or my custom ‘newfont-’ prefix.
Please assist with getting TinyMCE or a decent formatting editor to work for the custom posts in this theme.
I am sorry but this WPBakery vs Classic vs Gutenberg has not really anything to do with the theme, this must be some compatibility issue among all these three editors. However, you can just use a Classic block inside the Gutenberg editor.

Hi,
just create a service post in your admin under Services. Gallery images can be set in Service Settings when editing a service post (scroll down to see the metabox). If you want to have a table with prices you can use TablePress plugin for that.
To add a list of services into the sidebar, create a custom sidebar under Appearance / Customize Custom Sidebars first. Then go to Appearance / Widgets and add a LSVR Services widget to this new sidebar. Then assign it to services detail pages under Appearance / Customize / Services (scroll down).
You could just import the demo content and start from there if you are having issues creating everything from the scratch.

the demo content was built using the default block editor, it can’t be edited in Elementor. If you prefer to use the Elementor, you need to create pages from the scratch. Please check out the tutorial on how to create the default home page. While it is also a block editor tutorial, all the mentioned elements are available in the Elementor as well, so you can still follow it.

Theme options were moved to Appearance / Customize, however the service section is no longer controlled like that. There is a separate element/shortcode for this section where you can limit the number of services. Please read the tutorial on how the demo home page was created. Actually, you should read the whole documentation.

The css provided was missing an ”;”after float: left. So, it is ok.
There are actually much more features compared to 1.x.
Try this CSS for 6 columns:

Unfortunately, it is not possible to take that panel back. Again, this functionality was moved to the top of the header, which makes much more sense since it is now accessible on every page. The old panel looked cool, but was not very practical. I mean you should take a good look at the 2.x demo site to see all the differences to 1.x before you decide if you really want to update. There are many changes. I believe it is much better now, but you can definitely disagree. It is all subjective.
If you liked the 1.x more then just keep using it. Just hire developer who will be able to help you with those small CSS adjustments. It would be much more easier than transition to 2.x

It is either the the number of menu items (“menu points” in your words) or number of characters. I mean the menu have a limited width. This has nothing to do with the google maps. Your menu is simply too wide, you should shorten it.

Following the Demo Home 1, I need to replace the title “Plumbing. Painting. Anything” with Call for free estimate 800-555-5555 and make the phone number a clickable link in white.

However, the HTML moved the services images to the next line and the class is not being applied. Can a clickable phone number be added to the Services Title?

Ok, I took a better look at it and have found the issue in the code. I will release an update with the fix in the coming days.
Meanwhile, you can try to edit it yourself if you need it ASAP: open wp-content/plugins/lsvr-bluecollar-toolkit/inc/classes/shortcodes/lsvr-shortcode-bluecollar-services.php file, go to line 183 and change it to this:
