Hi Porto,

The themes look very good. But I have some questions.

- Can I import all my products? if yes do you have a example? I like to know if my import will work - How many EAN’s/GTIN’s can I add to a product? - Is there a widget for the translation? And can change translation myself? - How can I add other payment methods? - Is there a way to make a product feed for a external website(master/custom)? - Can I export transaction details automatic to a external party? We are using a external transporter - is there a demo login?

First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress.

1. Yes, you can Import your products using any third-party plugin, we have not tested any of the specific plugins with the Theme for this reason, and many of our customers already done this and imported their products on site.

2. Again you have to use any third-party plugin for it and you can use as many as possible the plugin provides you the functionality.

3. If you want to translate your site in a single language then you can use Loco Translate plugin like this:

and if you want to translate your site in Multilanguage then you have to use WPML or Polylang plugin for this purpose as per your requirements.

4. Store and Payment functionality is provided by the WooCommerce plugin, our Theme does not have any influence on it, so you can read all about it in WooCommerce official doc here:

5. Again this is the default functionality of the WooCommerce plugin and yes you can simply set the product as External/Affiliate product, please read the below-given doc:

6. Sorry to say that but this is not possible using Theme Options, You have to use any third-party plugin for it, which better meets your requirements.

7. No, you can not check the backend of the Demo before purchasing it, there is no such policy.

Sorry to say that but this is not possible using Theme Options, you can try with any third party plugin like Yoast SEO:

I have updated one of my clients’website to the latest version of porto and it has changed the style, color, typography of menu and footer. Although all the styles are right in the theme option I tried exporting/importing the theme option from the life website to the staging one, but still the menu and footer did not obey to them. It is as if the menu and footer styles (from the update) override the real theme options specifications. Even if I change the color of the menu, in the theme option, lets say to the red, nothing changes in the front. I can not do anything. Can you help me?

Dark Mode….I went to theme options…skin..Layout and chose Layout Background type to Dark. In the elementor 4 demo. the background went dark for some area. The header and featured products area did not go dark. reamains normal while the rest of the theme went dark. Any suggestion for a fix? Thanks

Thanks, Now tryin to match the color for dark mode. I search the forum and found #282e36, but that seems to be the color for the footer. Can I please have the color code for the body for the dark mode?. Also, I cannot figure out how to change the black color to white for the Account, Wishlist and cart icons. Same issue with Blocks for free shipping, 100% money back customer svc. I cannot those color to change. thanks again for your help.

Hi Porto team, thanks for so awesome work. i need help with one task that i can’t find any information in documentation.

Can i import only one demo page like services page? or the only way is to import all unnecesary demo pages to obtain only one predefined page.

This is important to me because i really like all the examples and i want to get its on any time and not only on the start of the website (initial i’m going to remove all unnecesary stuff).

There are 2 possible ways:

1. Porto Studio, and as you said that the page you want is no longer available, then you have to move on the second way.

2. Please Install the Theme on Localhost or Test site and Import the Demo from which you want to copy the pages on your main site, and also Install the Theme on Live/Main site and Import the Demo you want to use on your main site. Now copy the home Page from a Test site to Live site and It will work for you, But the main issue is you can only use the single license of the Theme on a single Domain/Site and this is Envato policy you may wish to confirm from them as well, Now how to transfer the License from Test to Live site and vice versa please read and follow the instructions written in this article:

It turns out the issue is that trying to save changes in the Porto Theme Settings is triggering ModSec rule 300015 for some reason, which is an SQL injection protection rule, so you have to disable this rule server-wide until you are in the development process, as the ModSec rule that was getting triggered is one of the standard WHM/cPanel rules as of one of the newer versions, so more and more servers are going to have this rule enabled by default.

So please contact your hosting provider and ask help on this and then recheck your site after removing the browser cache.

Hi! My theme is updated and registered even my WordPress version and WooCommerce. But every time someone post a comment on a product, that product image will not appear. Then when I trash the comment on dashboard, the product image will appear again.

so try to remove the site cache and deactivate the cache plugins and then login to your server and go to wp-content and finds and delete the cache plugins and also remove the server cache and deactivate it, till you are in the development process. I am sure you will not finds this issue anymore.

Hi, I’d like to use custom block to show some part of main menu with image banner. For example, 1st column shows typical menu style and 2nd column shows image, etc. How to set CSS for this 1st column? When I made it, it is standard ul,li style and I want them to be exactly same look so end user won’t notice the difference between menus.

WooCommerce 4.3.0 has been released only a couple of days ago, and we already tracked it. The latest Porto version 5.4.1 is already compatible with the latest version of the WooCommerce, but only a single template of the Theme has become outdated with this version of the WooCommerce, but no need to worry, it will not create any issue on your site, You can update it on your site.

And we are working on the new Theme update with which we will update that template as well. So please be patience till that and Enjoy using Porto :)

Regarding those plugins testing with new version, those plugins will be tested by the plugins Author.

Hi, is there a way to have a different menu for the mobile users? The mega menu customization don’t look very good in the drop down for mobile users. We have some request to fix at search area.

We are using default porto theme search box feature enabling Live Search, Search by SKU, Search by Product Tag, this more power feature comparing to other plugins.

We are receiving our user comments on website search box.

Comments are: They are requesting us to enable the feature, even though customer can click enter button / clicking on search icons with mouse after place the item code while searching process.

once customer place item code on the search box immediately he click on enter button / site search icon the function is not working, it is not showing the product please take screen shot: https://prnt.sc/tj18sc

we would be more thank full, that you would able to enable this feature for us / next your update.

Yes, please try with YITH WooCommerce Ajax Search plugin, please go to Appearance >> Install Plugins and Install and Activate the YITH WooCommerce Ajax Search plugin from there, and turn OFF the Theme live search then it will show the result on Search Result page, This is how it works and if you wants some extra functionality like Search by SKU and Product Tags with YITH WooCommerce Ajax Search plugin then you have to purchase the premium plugin separately, but before purchasing the plugin please ask all about from plugin Author.
