This behavior cannot be changed. After setting the featured video link and updating the post, you could remove the image or replace it, if needed. So if you do not want the image from the video to be used, remove/replace it.

The mobile menu/search opening animation was always as it is currently, since the mobile theme plugin was introduced. I can’t say if it will change or if there will be options added for it (now there aren’t any options to change/modify it), maybe it will happen at some point. But without any option to change animation of menu opening all website looks same, every website look copycat of each other. Same animation spoil dignity of individual Website. See themify ultra theme provide option to change mobile menu opening animation. It’s necessary to be added or all website seems same. No matter you add other features or not but this is most required feature to differentiate one Website to another. More than 50% traffic comes mobile device so it makes image on Website’s individual and differential identity.
How can I Implement social shares counter in the page, Is there is any plugins build for this?

Are you sure you are not using any untested plugins? In most cases, that theme behaviour happens due when the users are using some untested plugins which break the theme functionality. Check if you are using the Gutenberg plugin, as an example and try to disable it if you’re using it and check the results. When I did the test, I disabled all plugins (I kept only those from TagDiv) and even then the problem persists!
But before the update I was able to delete normally. So, I believe the problem is with the TagDiv composer.

Thumb image sizes for mobile
Can you please suggest what image sizes I have to leave for mobile version? I removed all necessary for desktop but at the end none is showing up on mobile.
Also another strange thing is that there appears mobile version of website instead of desktop version on desktop when I try to check it in incognito version. Have you any idea what could cause it?
Just wanted to add that mobile version was showing because of the conflict with cache plugin (WP Super Cache) after disabling it that solved the problem just now I do not know which cache plugin to use without errors.

The mobile theme uses these 2 thumbs sizes https://prnt.sc/tp3gms You can enable them. If the mobile theme is displayed on desktop, that is in most if not all the cases caused by caching. Hi, We do encounter issues with the Instagram feeds. The theme is now asking to connect with the Instagram account, but doing this gives a failure notice: {“error_type”: “OAuthException”, “code”: 400, “error_message”: “Invalid scope field(s): basic”}
Also, using the [tagDiv]Instagram widget for other (bloggers) accounts, doesn’t work also, see https://www.triptalk.nl/author/senna/
All did work untill the last couple of weeks. is there a bug?

Indeed, Instagram has changed its API and that’s why the element is not working well. We have made the changes according to the new Instagram implementation and we are waiting for approval by the Instagram these modifications so we can include them in future updates.

I installed the NewsPaper theme a few days back. I had imported the posts which I had in older theme.My issue is that default posts and their categories are appearing even after deleting. Pls check below :
I find that in spite of deleting default posts of theme in the beginning, few of them get indexed everyday. From where they come I am unable to fathom. I deleted few initially but since they got indexed, 404 is coming up.
Also I had a category NEWS earlier and by default your theme also had category “NEWS”. This has got conflicts. All the default categories start appearing when I open the below in edit mode:

So from what I understand you have installed the demo with content, that will indeed import demo categories and posts. These can be removed/deleted however. If you remove them, their links will provide a 404. If Google managed to index them, you could try and remove them like so https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9689846?hl=en You could give it a try.

Thank you for replying. Over the weekend, I dig the issue further. These are not the default posts of the theme.
Everyday 3 posts are getting auto published with Torrent related content and title. The URL also gets changed automatically appending /torrent# in the end. It just hijacks the site.
The site is hosted on GCP server with all security in place. I am unable to understand from where it is happening and what is the resolution.
The level of experience you have, it will be great help if you can guide me where to look for the issue

I understand now. Maybe those URLs are being generated by a plugin for some reason. Try deactivating them. Also, do they still generate if you switch to a different theme? I found a similar topic mentioning that even extensions could maybe cause it https://br.wordpress.org/support/topic/2018-12-torrentp-problema-no-site-wordpress/ Other than this, there don’t seem to be other references to such an issue.

Thanks Simion. In fact you may be right. Yesterday I had tried this with SiteKit plugin. I was able to replicate the issue and I assumed that the plugin had issues.
But subsequently we will be needing plugins, so we cannot keep them deactivated.

I loved this theme until I updated to version 10 and it totally screwed my site all up. Tagdiv composer doesn’t work. I was able to edit my theme before without the tagdiv composer but now I guess you have to but nothing shows up. Quit trying to show everyone that you’re geniuses and make it simple for the laymen to use.
They say they support this theme. That is partly true. They give free support for 6 months then they charge you an extra $41 for another 6 months. But they do give a discount if you pay before your support expires. I understand you want to make money but $41 for 6 months support is rather high for something that I only payed $59 for.

Latest Update breaks saving from the frontend. I’m trying since hours to save a simple header change with no luck. I see a couple of forum posts with the same issue but no response yet. Server is meeting all requirements and worked before. You’ll save a front edit and get the green OK but it won’t save. Even changing an image doesn’t work. If it imports it might say “not created with TD composer” but its directly from the cloud.
looks like save_history is throwing a 413 error. Ajax_admin is loaded and working.
It looks like the Entinity is too large. I imported from the cloud library the header Gadget Pro. Why would that Header have 61640 characters?

Hi Catalin, this account i have a forum account but no support. I wouldn’t need support if the update would not have broken my site. So right now I reinstalled a brand new installation and chose cloud library pro demo but Tagdiv composer is always throwing that issue. And no plugins other then hours have been activated.
Also you’ll see in the forum and here that there are many people with the same issue related to tagdiv composer. This is a recent change and not a change in our plugins etc. we can not add/edit/delete content in pages since it does not save. All requirements are met or exceeded.

Please make a new subdomain for testing where you need to install the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way where you need to use only the tested plugins. The DOM structure is made by all the elements that are on your page. If you want to reduce the number of DOMs you will have to reduce the number of elements that are on your page and have the page lighter. Also, if you using some untested plugins which might create some conflicts in the theme and cause these warnings. Check them and try to fix it because we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

Hello! I am using Rankmath SEO plugin and it comes with Schema. As far I know, Newspaper theme has schema already built-in.
Recently, I got an error from Google search console saying that – “Either ‘offers’, ‘review’ or ‘aggregateRating’ should be specified”
Now, I really don’t know if it’s happening because of the conflicts of the schemas from both side (Theme and Rankmath)

Yes, you can try this case but please note that we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected. Try to see how it goes. Also, note that the plugin was not tested with our theme and also, we cannot guarantee better results using it. Our recommended SEO plugin is SEO by Yoast.
