I want to know if you can search by the author name and possibly add a store name field also for searching? If not can I use a third party plug in since your search function like pretty much every wordpress theme keys off the title of ones post? That’s about it for now.

Please try to replace this file “wp-content/jnews/assets/js/zoom-button.js” with this one https://www.dropbox.com/s/v3spdae8owkvkza/zoom-button.js?dl=0
After that, you need to clear your website cache and browser cache. Also, if you’re using CDN such as Cloudflare, you need to purge the cache data.

I have purchased five copies of JNews and use them on five sites. I am getting a notice on the sites to input my API code, but it is not accepting either the original API code that I generated when I purchased the theme or a newly generated code. I do not otherwise need tech support for this theme.

The REST API route definition for themeisle-sdk/v1/checksum is missing the required permission_callback argument. For REST API routes that are intended to be public, use __return_true as the permission callback. “

Regarding this issue, please try to disable all plugins except the required plugin that related to JNews theme for a while to check if there’s a plugin conflict.
Also, it seems this path file “themeisle-sdk/v1/checksum” is not coming from our theme.

I’ve tried different browsers and different computers and nothing changes for these settings when applying them.

The gradient color feature works, but these settings for the gradient don’t.
—Gradient Degree —Begin Location (in %) —End Location (in %)
Please check to see that these work as they should. The degree and begin and end location settings don’t change and neither do the percentage numbers.

FYI, we’ve been pushing an update to fix some issue that related to the WP 5.5. If you’re not using JNews v7.0.8 yet, please try to update JNews theme to the v7.0.8 then you need to update JNews – Essential to v7.0.3 and Vafpress Post Formats UI to v1.5.2
It would be better if you create a backup before doing the update. Let me know if you need help.

I am using version 7.0.8. After upgrading to version 7.0.8, I also updated the plugins. But JNews – Essential to v7.0.2 and Vafpress Post Formats UI to v1.5.1 appear. You are saying update JNews – Essential to v7.0.3 and Vafpress Post Formats UI to v1.5.2 versions. I am using the update you provided.
I was using Version 7.0.4 before.

I am using a version 7.0.5. Then, it will be better to wait for the next update!
After update to version 7.0.6 it is crashed the editor in the Post and Page. Then i have updated to version 7.0.7 the same error. When i have deactivate the JNews-Essentials the Editor is functional. But this is not really helpfully. Support ??? no way. And the Next is AMP-Modus are not really worked ( No Menu open ) , i must selfed fixed this problem because the Support are not really help for this bug in this template.
