How I can align text to margins in the back of the flip box without changing front? http://betasite.icgrehab.com/early-intervention/, Thank you.

Hey Fixedman,

You can with the following CSS:

body .nectar-flip-box .flip-box-back .inner {
text-align: left;
}

Cheers

Thank you.

You’re welcome, Fixedman :)

Hi ThemeNectar,

If you could please visit: http://www.dev-evermaven.com/conservation-measures-partnership/about-cmp/members/

There is a sentence that has an email address within it for contacting the client. How can I change the display for the email so it reads “CMPinfo@ConservationMeasures.org” instead of “CMPinfo [at] ConservationMeasures [dot] org”

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Best, Alan

Hey Alan,

It looks like the plugin you have active “cryptx” is what’s altering the email address display. Please deactivate that plugin to correct the issue.

It does not work well: the products in offers

Hey ziccia, Please share the relevant page URL so that I can take a look to assist.

Thanks in advance

I got a question is menu is extended on mobile version doesn’t is suppose to hide when someone touch left part of the screen where menu is not appearing? http://betasite.icgrehab.com/

Hey Fixedman,

That functionality is available when using the “Slide out from right” off canvas menu style. Currently, you’re using the “Slide out from right hover triggered” variant. You can change this in the Salient options panel > header navigation > off canvas menu tab.

Awesome, thank you.

Hi there,

Is it possible to disable breadcrumbs on portfolio pages only? F.e. this page: https://pluutpartners.nl/portfolio/kennisplatform-jzojp/

Hey again Abbenhues,

You can use this snippet for that:
.single-portfolio #breadcrumbs {
 display: none;
}

Hi there,

On this page I’ve 6 fancy boxes (on two rows): https://pluutpartners.nl/home-test/

I would like it that the content of each fancy box starts at the top of the box on the same height but in boxes 2 and 3 f.e. the content starts lower. I tried checking the box ‘columns should be same height’ but it made no difference. Any tips?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Abbenhues,

You can make that change by adding this into the custom css box located in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab:

#ajax-content-wrap .nectar-fancy-box .inner {
    align-items: flex-start;
}

Cheers

Thank you! I’ve one more question: The icons are centered in my fancy box, but when hovering over it the icon changes to the left side. How to get that also centered?

https://pluutpartners.nl/home-test/

Hey Abbenhues,

add this into the custom css box located in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab:

https://pastebin.com/iWwqrLJd

Cheers

Hi guys, wonder if you can replicate… I am using full screen rows & I have a Nectar Slider positioned at the top row of the page set to a static image (not video) & using the ken burns effect. The issue I am seeing is that the ken burns isn’t triggering on the first slide, only the 2nd slide then loops fine.

Hey Media29,

This issue will be fixed in upcoming major release. If you’d like early access, please shoot me an email in regards via the contact form on my author page https://themeforest.net/user/themenectar

Cheers

Many thanks for acknowledging the bug; glad to see it’s not just something localised to my install. No worries though, we’ve actually swapped the image slider to a Nectar video slider & is great. Look forward to seeing what’s new in the next major release.

Of course – I’m glad you found a workaround for now :)

What’s the best way to get buttons to lineup centered on a smartphone when you want space between the buttons? I have two buttons, the first one has right margin 40px to create space between the left and right buttons but on a smartphone, the buttons are off center because of the margins. You can check on a smartphone: https://bit.ly/3aoxFNz

Hey ehong33234,

Instead of giving one of the buttons 40px right margin, you can give both buttons 20px left/right margin.

Cheers

Perfect, thank you so much. Sorry, I’m brain dead!

Also on that same page for smartphone, how do I get rid of the gap for the image of the iPad and MacBook so that the edge touches the edge of the smartphone browser? You can see the iPad has a gap on the right side and the MacBook has a gap on the left side. Thanks!

You’re welcome, ehong33234 :)

You’ll need to change the parent rows to be the type “full width content” rather than “full width background”.

Wordpress 5.5 just break this salient themes :<

Hey diden,

Have you disabled any third party plugins active in your setup? The core Salient theme and Salient plugins should not have any issue with WP 5.5.

If you have narrowed down a specific issue to Salient, please reach out via the contact form on my author page with further details: https://themeforest.net/user/themenectar

Just discovered I can lazy load the portfolio by using the Post Grid feature. Awesome. Truly a great theme.

https://vdwconstruction.com.au

Hey SeanAUS120, thanks for your kind words – there are more lazy loading options on the way as well :)

Cheers

I have the same issue as others after the WP 5.5 issue. I found that I needed to install ‘Enable JQuery Migrate’ plugin as it says apparently since the latest WP update, JQuery is no longer enabled by default. Installing this plugin fixed my Visual composer issues, but it did come with the following error message (my plugins are up to date):

jQuery Migrate Helper — Warnings encountered This page generated the following warnings:

jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated jQuery.fn.attr(‘selected’) might use property instead of attribute Please make sure you are using the latest version of all of your plugins, and your theme. If you are, you may want to ask the developers of the code mentioned in the warnings for an update.

Hey firefly33,

There are no confirmed issues of a jQuery issue occurring from the Salient WPBakery page builder directly. Have you tried to disable third party plugins after doing the 5.5 update yet? If so, please reach out directly via the contact form on my author page so that I can a look: https://themeforest.net/user/themenectar

Thanks in advance

I also received this error on another website (via the Enable JQuery Migrate plugin): .../wp-content/plugins/salient-core/includes/admin/assets/js/nectar-element-edit.js: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated

Hey firefly33,

The “deprecated” warnings should not cause such an error that breaks the editor or front-end. Can you please reach out via the contact form so that I can see the setup?

I was able to solve it

Hey mirazoqui, I’m glad to hear :)

Hello, I changed the background for flip boxes and I can’t see part of the text “read more…”, any way to fix it? http://betasite.icgrehab.com/early-intervention/ Thank you.

so true, thank you!

is it possible to make gradient on flip box background color? http://betasite.icgrehab.com/early-intervention/

You can do that with the following:

.nectar-flip-box .flip-box-front {
    background: linear-gradient(45deg, #0973bc, #ff0000);
}

Hi, I am seeing a problem with the mobile menu not appearing when clicking the hamburger menu.

On our site here: https://watson.is/ When clicking the mobile menu #sidewidgetarea is appended to the URL.

In settings I have the ‘simple dropdown’ option for off-canvas menu style selected.

This menu used to work, not sure if it was broken with the last 5.5 WP update or if it’s something else. We have Salient Version: 12.1.1 installed. There were other settings that were reset when updating the theme.. This was not expected and thought it was peculiar.

P.S. Why does it seem that the theme always has issues right after support expires? Can you please lend some advice for this issue?

Thank you kindly for any help you can give.

Hey watson_institute,

1. Your page markup differs from what it should based on the off canvas menu settings you have selected. Please try to deactivate your child theme to verify there’s no conflict within there. If that does not correct the issue, please reach out via the contact form on my author page https://themeforest.net/user/themenectar

2. Since there’s no known issue with theme options resetting when performing an update, can you please also specify what options you’re referring to and what version you updated from?

Thanks in advance

Where can edit Previous Project and Next project in the portfolio section? I search in the lang .po but they are not there. Thank you

Hey mirazoqu,

Those strings are kept within the “salient-portfolio” text domain. The .pot file is located at wp-content/plugins/salient-portfolio/langauges http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/translations/

I am planning to purchase the theme, however, I have faced some bugs in the demo This demo to be precise: themenectar.com/demo/salient-product/

When I open the page, mouse scroll works as it should If I switch to another tab and then return to the salient demo tab, and then change zoom percentage by holding ctrl and +/- then the scroll stops working If I switch to another tab again, and return back to the salient tab, scroll starts working as it should Please let me know if the bug can be fixed soon so that I may proceed with the purchase or look for alternative themes

Using chrome on windows 10

Hey alberteck,

The fix for that has actually not been integrated into the live Salient version yet – it’s in the current beta for the upcoming major release of v13. If you’d like early access, feel free to reach out via the contact form on my author page with temporary admin access so that I can take a closer look.

Awesome! Could you give us a date for when v13 would be launched?

Hey alberteck,

It’s 2 – 3 weeks out.

Cheers :)

+1 for the TikTok social media icon for Salient. It’s time you guys! :)

Thanks for the +1 krispdots :)

It’ll be in the next feature based release.

Cheers

This theme was purchased by me a few days ago. I see that there is a 12 month free support for this too. But I have not received any response to my PRIVATE TICKET #2495791 since last 6 days. This is delaying my website work. The Shape dividers in the theme are NOT Responsive at all and we are not finding any solution to make them responsive. Please refer this link -> http://pest.infiniteresultsseo.com/ , the Shape dividers look fine on desktop version but are messed up in the mobile version. Kindly help!

Hey thedigitaldoyen, I apologize for the delay – I can see that Andrew responded to your ticket earlier today but I also added in a further response. You can use % based values for the shape divider height to keep the sizing more consistent as the viewport changes size. For example, in your row with the text “Pest Library”, you could set the height to “50%” instead of “450px” to allow the divider to always remain that percentage of the parent row.

Tested with wp 5.5 on my blog : using Masonry blog style Material and all my posts disappeared , i reverted back to wp 5.4 and now it works. Got a request : add a Search Bar option in the blog section , allow the search bar to be positioned below the header, i like for people to be able to searh my posts and don`t want to use a dedicated seach plugin . I use the searh widget but on mobile it goes to the footer area since it is on the sidebar:)

Hey RoSelo, there’s a Javascript error coming from a plugin you have active jQuery lightbox/WordPress Lightbox – please try to disable that plugin

Thanks now it works , it was WP Lightbox 2 plugin , i replaced with a new plugin and all works.

Glad to hear, RoSelo :)

I have a client who wants me to take over their site and they currently have Salient 4.1.1. Will purchasing the theme and update to your latest version cause any issues?

Hey mpaska,

As long as the client does not have customizations from file overrides in a child theme, the update process shouldn’t be too bad. Check out the guide here for the latest major release: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/important-salient-update-for-new-envato-requirements/

Cheers
