We want to hide header navigation at first glance, then show it after first row while scrolling down. In fact we don’t want to show nav in first row.
How can we do that?

There’s no option for that built-in for that, but with some custom CSS you could simulate it a little. Can you share your URL in regards so that I can take a look at your settings to provide an example snippet?

i have a strange behaviour regarding availability or nectar elements in my menu, when i compare 2 different website built it seems that not all nectar elements are showing. i use latest 12.0.2 with core 1.7 and shortcode 1.4 but still for exemple Call to Action element is not showing when i try to add an element using wp bakery backend editor. any idee why ?

Ensure that you have the “Elements” option set to “all” in the WPBakery page builder settings > Role Manager tab.

In latest version you’ve updated FontAwesome to 5.x, but nectar/helpers/header and includes/partials/footer/copyright-bar still have fa instead of fab for brands

Hey brandio, you can’t override that entire file – as that would quickly cause conflicts with future Salient releases. Instead, you’ll need to either override specific functions within that file or remove/add your own filters as needed via a child theme functions.php

You’ll need to give the column a class name, for example “mobile-bg-swap” and then add in the following CSS:

You could replicate similar functionality by using the “single testimonial” and ”video lightbox” elements in a “tabs” element. Where each tab would contain both of those elements.

Hello, We love this theme and have been using it since 2015! Are you able to help me:
On our home page the “video sidebar widget” doesn’t load in the footer. It loads on all other pages except the home page.
I tried posting videos with HTML embed code, as well as using the other video widgets and none of them work on the home page only.
Can you please help? This stopped working on its own without any updates and has been a source of frustration.

Hi Salient. In updating to WordPress 5.5, using the blue “Nectar Shortcodes” button in either the text block editor or the classic editor to add a shortcode, if I try and add anything that uses a select box as part of the UI, eg the Team Member and selecting the Team Member Link Type the shortcode fills the option as link_element=”undefined”. This happens with any of the shortcodes using this method of inserting them into the text: animation for columns, symbol position for milestones, etc.

Is it in current version possible to turn off the responsive image tags and use normal images just like you have it in Visual Composer? It seems I have a lot of trouble with this.

Hi, I purchased this theme some time ago but didn’t deployed it. I was trying to do a local installation and I get an error saying “The link you followed has expired.”. I understand my “support” expired but for what I read here that shouldn’t make the installation fails, but maybe I’m missing something?

HI I’ve used your theme on multiple websites – for work and personal… I’m just starting a new site… I downloaded the newest version of your theme and it is very glitchy!! Having all sorts of issues… at first I set all the HTML elements in Salient Options and my social links weren’t showing up… I go back in and they aren’t there and I have to re do them. Same with the H1, etc. elements. Then I add a secondary header and the social icons showed up fine… but then I changed the background color and they aren’t there. (it’s not a color issue I have set the color codes for each… when I mouse over the area there are no links there at all. Then I hit F5 to refresh my page and the secondary header went back to the original style before I made the changes. So weird! Is anyone else reporting glitchiness with the most recent theme? I’m thinking of scrapping everything and using an earlier version ...

v12.1 has been out for a while and is stable. The very last minor release for WP 5.5 compatibility contained very little changes.
Do you have multiple tabs of the theme options open? It sounds like as you’ve been saving changes, the state of the options are changing as if that was the case.
