Hi Tom, can you give any indication when 1.49 will roll out (Envato said you had fixes to do before they can approve it). It’s been a week and I really need to give my client a clue how long it will be as they’re understandably running out of patience as images aren’t appearing and portfolio categories are appearing in the wrong places with no way of rectifying the issues, thank you

yes, you can go to WP Admin -> Ark -> Dashboard and delete the backend and front-end cache. This should make the images work again, the update is not related to the images.

Hi, We have used the theme in the past, and I really loved the portfolio element where you could filter to specific portfolio items – is this possible to achieve with woocommerce products – and being able to filter them based on attributes – as I really loved the smooth animations of the portfolio filter. The portfolio sortable grid now only works for the Portfolio. In theory, you could be able to make it work for WooCommerce products as well, but it will require some changes and customizations.

We deliver ACF updates ourselves through new Ark theme updates. The notification you are getting is for direct ACF customers – who you can become if you buy their license. So as a non-direct customer you can ignore these prompts.

in sitemap/blog archive, I usually if element with “is_category( your_cat_id) ” to filter, but in portfolio archive, can I use same way to do it? thanks

the portfolio is a different taxonomy, called “ff-portfolio-category”, so you need to use this function: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_tax/
Best would be to use is_tax(‘ff-portfolio-category’, 22), where the 22 is the ID of your portfolio category

We have our own builder which is the main point why you would use this theme over others. It may work but nobody really tried it because there was no need. Perhaps you have some very specific use case so please try it yourself and ask for refund if it won’t do what you need.

No, this theme is not compatible with Wordpress version 5.5.
I have updated it to this version and the editor of the pages of this theme does not see correctly, I only see lines of code.

Waiting for the update! the theme has issues with new WP 5.5, by using this plugin: enable-jquery-migrate-helper you can make the theme work properly.

the Ark theme is compatible with WP 5.5 out of the box. As we’ve talked through the support, you just have a conflict with another 3rd party plugin. This was apparently causing the problems with your site.
