Hi! Yesterday I updated to the latest version from 14.1 and my website crashed. I restaured it with a backup copy but everytime I upload the new version folder, I lost my web again. I got this error on the server message board: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function qode_envato_wordpress_toolkit_installed() in /home2/summerca/public_html/wp-content/themes/bridge/framework/modules/envato-wordpress-toolkit/load.php on line 3
Could you please tell me what’s going wrong here?

Thanks for writing in! Please, just go to /wp-content/themes/bridge/framework/modules and remove whole folder envatowordpresstoolkit This is deprecated Envato Toolkit plugin that is replaced with Envato Market plugin.

Thanks for your help! I removed the folder and the web is now working 
But it doesn’t look the same: the main logo and footer are disappeared, the top bar shows a different content, the online shop displays just one product… I use a child theme, and I’ve imported the Qode Options exported from the website before the update. I’ve also updated the plugins following your video instructions and the custom CSS seem to be in place, so I don’t understand what is happening.
Am I missing something?

WPBakery is no working after latest update bridge 22.8, hope bridge theme solve this asap. I found the TEMPORARY SOLUTION, just install jQuery Migrate Helper and will work (It worked for me). I have wordpress 5.5 installed. (and all plugins updated) incase bridge theme advise to update all plugins.

Additionally, I have tried to get into your support – when I try to login it says I need to verify my email, but I am not getting an email. Please advise – I need some additional help on the previously mentioned WP Bakery, as well as making so that my footer would be full width with the rest of the site – see example here: https://cpb.sitesbysix.com/team
Additionally in all of my text boxes in WP Bakery within this theme. When I hit enter to start a new paragraph it isn’t actually creating the new line. I am having to manually use the space to add the space to separate two paragraphs.
Finally when using the Team page, how can I make it so that when they click the photo it goes to their bio page on the site. I don’t see an option in the team widget to add a link. If I add the link too the photo in the media library, it is still not clickable. You can reference same page above for example.

Hi, I am very, very frustrated and really could use some assistance. I purchased this theme due to its popularity, but I have had some what I would consider simple items in need of resolution for over three months. I have paid for support twice now, but have STILL not been able to get logged in and now my support is expired again. I posted here and got a response that my support login was fixed and I could login, but still cannot. Therefore, my issues are still outstanding and have received no update. I am posting here hoping that the developer or another user ANYONE could possibly help resolve these issues. I am at the point where if I cannot resolve them, we have to move to another theme, which is extremely frustrating as we have invested a lot of time building this site on this theme for this client. Here are the issues we need resolved:
1 – Team page widget. There is no place directly within the widget to add a link for the picture to link to (ie to clickthrough to a page with more bio details on the person). However, when you add the picture there is a spot at the bottom right of that panel to add a link. We have added the links there and the pictures are still not clickable. In fact, when you mouseover the picture it’s like there is no link there at all. How can we fix this, as we need these photos to link to a page and open it in a new tab?
2 – We are having to add a text box for quite literally every paragraph. The text boxes are ignoring paragraph breaks/line breaks, even if we go and add them with html code manually. Although there is a work around here, manually adding multiple text boxes with spacers in between, this is far less than ideal and is horrible for the responsiveness of the website on mobile devices. How can this be fixed?
I am begging at this point – is there anyone that can help?????
I was just able to get logged into support, however NOW I cannot submit a ticket. I even came back in here and paid for Support AGAIN and it STILL will not let me submit a ticket. This is BEYOND frustrating!!!

Much like the other user above jacksheo that wrote in about four hours ago, we also updated our bridge theme. As soon as we did Bridge is working but all of our other sites on our multisite that use WP Bakery now are not. We have been told this is an issue with WP Bakery 6.3 and to roll it back to 6.2 but I don’t know how to do that since it is bundled with the theme. In our case we are also on WP 5.5. However, WP Bakery is working for Bridge theme, it just broke for our others now. It’s activated, etc but the WP Bakery portion of the interface is just gone when you go into the editor/builder. If you look at the page listing or when the admin bar when looking at the frontend of the site, it states ‘edit with WP Bakery’ but when you click that you get an error. Has anyone gotten a solution for this? If not can we roll back to 6.2, and if so how? Will that impact anything on the Bridge theme by doing so?

When I purchased I was under the impression that I was free to use the theme on an unlimited amount of websites. Is this not the case?

Hi, I recently did an update and it seems that the page builder now no longer has as many of the features it used to have – leaving a site without items like the previous image gallery and hover over images,etc. Is this something I’ve done wrong, or is this just the case with Bridge now? Is there a way to transition the update so that these features aren’t missing or were they intentionally left out?
Ended up manually adding the plugins from the update – resolved the issue
Only issue now is that child theme edits no longer work and additional CSS and coding needs to be redone. Still curious if you have a suggestion for this?

Possible this was due to you missed to update the plugins manually. Could you please provide us with your website URL so we can check. As if you are using child theme be aware of the following: In Bridge 18.0 we had to change function names as per Themeforest request in order to meet their new coding standards, and child theme modifications must reflect these changes since 18.0 Bridge release. If you have modified functions via child theme, you’ll have to rename functions in the child theme in order your child theme to work after the update -
In Bridge releases starting from 18.0 we had to change function names, in order to meet Themeforest requests and standards. Therefore, if you have customized theme functions via child theme, those customizations will not work until you change function names – you just have to replace function name prefixes from ‘qode’ to ‘bridge_qode’ in your child theme. For example, the function name ‘qode_is_native_font’ should be changed to ‘bridge_qode_is_native_font’ in the child theme functions.php file, in order modified function to work.
Some variables and actions had to be renamed too. For example, variable name $qode_options_proya has been changed to $bridge_qode_options. The action ‘qode_header_meta’ is now called ‘bridge_qode_action_header_meta’. Our advice is to compare old file with new file version from the latest Bridge, to see what has been changed. If there are only minor modifications in your child theme file, the safest method would be to use new file version from the latest Bridge and make necessary modifications in the code, instead of renaming functions or variables in the old file.

Please update the Bridge Core plugin as well to 2.4.3. You can also try to install jQuery Migrate Helper plugin as well, as it might happen that there is a conflict with timetable plugin if you are using it.

Hi, when trying to backup my site, I found that it is bloated to almost 400 MB when there are only like 10 main pages with perhaps less than 50 images. When I check the upload folders, it has 10 images created per image I uploaded. I know WP only create 3 default + mine should only be 4.
Are the additional 6 images created by your theme and if so where can we stop this? I checked both desktop and mobile pages, only one of the image is used, the rest are not even required.
I retested again and found this: Upload 1 image, and the theme will self generate 17 images from this 1 image.
I don’t use other sliders but only the ones that come with the theme. The other plugins are also same as my other sites but using a different theme. The other site only add 6 more images for 1 image uploaded – which is still OK.
But 17 redundant images is alot. I didn’t know this until I try to backup my small site and its over 400MB. My goodness!
Found this in your theme function.php, it-self creates too many when we may not use any of those functions at all. Below are 12 additional, useless images + 6 already there = 17×5 images per post x 10 posts = 850 images.
850 images just for a 10-post website? I think it only needs 5×10 = 50 minimum if no pop-up required.
I think should optimise the code to make the images only when needed.

Hi, I successfully registered my theme from my previous free hosting website. However, I change my web hosting and preferred paid and much relliable one. Now I cannot register my theme, it just stays in this text “Please wait”. I searched and troubleshoot this issue, it says to deregister my theme first but I cannot access my last hosting server and I already transferred my domain name to my new website hosting server.

Could you please explain a bit more so we can be sure what you wish to achieve. If we got it right, you can edit the user dashboard within the themes settings as this is an already predefined layout. It will require you to edit the themes files for this.

ok i meant that when someone log in into my website after registration may find an area with items. Actually in the user dashboard there are three items: “profile”, “edit profile” and “log-out”. Is it possible to add another item named for example “Private area” with some contents inside?
Otherwise, if it’s to complicated in this way there’s something in your theme that allow registered people to access to another page which could be outside the user dashboard and which is not visible to people that are not registered?

It is not possible as it is an already predefined layout. You can’t add the “private area” within our themes options, this can only be done by editing our theme files.
All your users can access all pages, except if you password protect some of your pages, but there is no restriction to which pages are visible for which users.
This can possible be achieved with some third party plugin but please understand that we have not tested this with our theme and cannot guaranty theme compatibility.
