Hello. I purchased the theme and it seems the server changed when I reinstalled word press. Now the theme will not install to my site. I guess the license is tied to one IP? How do I register it with my new IP?

No problem, we can help you get that updated. The license isn’t tied to an IP, but if you validated it would be linked to your site URL. In your Themeco account you can change the URL associated with any of your licenses.

Seems to be a problem with UberMenu not loading and leaving the site to hang. Appears to be a jquery issue, according to the info box. Will there be a fix for this? (ps-I had to revert to an older backup for the site to work)

It’s possible that while UberMenu stopped working, the problem is coming from somewhere else. Following the common issues linked from that forum post could help, otherwise feel free to open your own thread and our team could take a look at your site.
That fixed it! Turned out to be an issue with WP5.5. I reloaded the update manually and it fixed the issue. Thanks!

Essential Grid not working. Can this plugin be upgraded in the bundle ??

We only update the files bundled with the theme when the theme itself is updated, but if X is validated you should get automatic update notifications for more recent versions of Essential Grid. Another way to update would be deleting Essential Grid and reinstalling it from the theme’s Extensions area.

Where did the parallax option go for the sections in cornerstone?? It was there and now in the latest version it only shows colors as an option?

If you click the Settings cog in the bar you can go to “Preferences” and enable Advanced Mode. This will reveal several more sets of controls for each element.
Depending on what version you’re coming from, you might be using a newer version of a section. While inspecting a section (with Advanced Mode on) you can toggle advanced backgrounds which allow you to setup an upper and lower layer. These controls will also be on the Row and Column elements allowing you to create multi layered parallax layouts.
When will X Theme be compatible with Wordpress 5.5 so that I can update my website plugins?

On their own X and Cornerstone are fully compatible with WordPress 5.5, but we have seen some conflicts with older outdated or unmaintained 3rd party plugins that introduce conflicts after WordPress update the jQuery version. I’m unable to update my Twenty Twenty theme version. When I try to activate it says: “Update failed: Could not create directory.” I also have Twenty Nineteen. Should I have both or only Twenty Twenty?
The Twenty Twenty theme and our product (X) have nothing to do with each other as you can only have one theme active at a time. To update your X Theme to the latest version, you can follow these instructions.

Hi i have just taken over a Clients website account, to manage the site for them, editing etc. I am not the website creator. and therefore not the original theme purchaser. during the migration we have incurred a problem with the Mobile view of the site, when you scroll down to the “about section” part of the txt is being hidden by grey areas, and when you click on the menu bar for Treatments the word treatment is wider than the screen we tried everything via word press to rectify, my hosting company suggested i contact you as you may have a bug fix for this migration error. the site URL barnbeautyrooms.co.uk please can you advise what we need to do to overcome this Theme problem indont really want to build another site just to rectify this problem

X is WooCommerce compatible. There are no known conflicts at this time. Occasionally WooCommerce will change a template file, which means in our next release we will update the version numbers. Until then your dashboard may say a template is out of date but this is mostly a reminder for developers to test those files. You can safely use the latest version of X with WooCommerce without any issues.

Love this theme and have used it for 5 years. Re: WordPress 5.5 major release a few days ago; When I see you say “We’ve done some testing ….” I get a bit nervous so I will not update till you are 100% ready to go with a new update to be compatible. I see your last update was last March which seems to me to be a long gap. Had some issues with other themes that cost me time on upgrading to 5.5 so just voicing my concerns. Keep up the good work.

We understand. We’ve been using WordPress 5.5 on many sites including where we are developing X and Cornerstone since it was released. The only known issue is the inability to access the “Edit with Cornerstone” shortcut from the WordPress post editor. This will be corrected in the next release.

We’ve done some testing and we’ve seen one issue where the “Edit with Cornerstone” button is not appearing in the post editor, but other than that there are no known issues. You can get around that by simply using the edit button in the toolbar, or from All Pages.

I just need a little help with the menu. I added the ID “resume” to my menu.. then I added ”#resume” to menu item URL… but the link doesn’t work for some reason. Did I enter this correctly? Thanks!

Did you try adding the custom ID to the section (not Element)? On the menu, you can use the section ID as the URL (without the # in front). If you need anything further, a member of our team would be happy to help in our support forum.
