Your demo site has been down for quite a long time, over a week at least. I have bought license but cant check the demos anywhere to know which content to import

Been using Brooklyn for several years. Recently renewed Support, downloaded and installed new version of theme, but now Slider Revolution does not show up anywhere? Please advise. Should I have purchased the theme new again, licensing issue with Slider Revolution?

Hi guys. Please help me out here. I setup brooklyn and customized it a little, it was very slow so I went to cloudflare and and tinkered a little, screwed up, deleted everything and started fresh. Now in the fresh install, brooklyn is not accepting my purchase code, though it is the same domain. What do I do? HUGE problem is, I am not being able to access either the email or the envato account I used to buy the theme. But I can show screenshots of the mails I got and you can check which domain the theme was registered to. It is the same domain, just a fresh install

In the meantime,
make sure to coming soon or maintenance modes are active (by plugin) or on wordpress.com make sure the site is public during the import process. Also check if Brooklyn > Server Health is all green and deactivate all 3rd party plugin. In Settings > Media check if uploads are managed by monthly / year folders. If this option was not set, activate it, then go to media library and delete the import files downloaded so far and try to import again.

inside the media library you can find demo files such as demo-one.txt or dem-one.xml according to the demo you selected. Delete those if you had to activate the option “manage upload in year / month” folder. About the mode at wordpress.com see: https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/

Hello, and great job for the theme ! I have a question about showcases I’d like to display in filterable portfolio gallery showcase much more information than only the title of the portfolio. sorry there is a misinformation in this case. The plugin is marked to be optional. So there is a Dashboard notification that it’s part of the theme but it’s not a required plugin. Even if activated, the plugin has no connection to twitter or their services as long as you don’t use it. You can disable the notification after everything is installed and as mentioned, the plugin can be skipped.

The Blog post on Brooklyn shows date published rather than date of event, how do I change this?
Site for reference is this: https://riverrodingtrust.org.uk/events/This event should say 31.10.20 but because I published it on the 13.10.20 it shows that. And it’s pointless to change the publishing date the 31.10 as it’ll be pending until that date and not useful for people who want to find information prior to the event. Theme is brilliant and the charity love the site, this is my one and only support question since purchase? Please don’t send me to your support forum… it’s not helpful as there is no option to submit a question. Can see others in the comments have the same issue. Hoping you can copy and paste their fix here.

Hi UT, no custom field. It’s part of the wordpress theme blog post. Where it automatically publishes the post details when you put it live – in the top right (side menu under ‘Publish’) “Published on: 13 Oct 2020 at 10:00” this data is visible on the front end and looks like the date of the event. That make sense? Otherwise please look at the event for 31.10.20 on this site; https://riverrodingtrust.org.uk/events/
If I could set the meta data of the blog post to feature the date of the event (so customisable) rather than the date the post was published that would solve my issue. Previous questions asking similar things about the post meta data;

These comments are dealing a different topic. Yours is totally different since you like to exchange a date not hide it.
If you like to display the event date as the date inside the grid box. You need to work with 2 custom fields one field declares that the post is an event post and the other field will contain the event date. Once you have these files, you need to modify the template.
We recommend using a child theme in this case. Then place a copy of partials/blog-grid/content.php inside the child theme by keeping the folder structure and then modify the 2 occurrences of
<?php the_time(‘d’); ?> <?php the_time(‘M’); ?> <?php the_time(‘Y’); ?>
By wrapping them with a conditional which checks if the post is a event or not.

Custom Fields are by default hidden in Brooklyn, because they can slow down the editing screen. To reactivate them, please open Theme Options > Advanced > Performance Settings.

Beautiful design. But wp bakery has been the worst builder i ever tried. elementor did´t work well for the theme as well. I ended up using completly different theme than brooklyn. Is their any way i can get an refund? if my key is not activated?
