Options for WCAG compliance aren’t integrated into the theme and we didn’t fill our demo site in accordance to mentioned recommendations. They can be added with help of some third-party plugins we just can’t recommend you any because we didn’t test third-party plugins functioning with the theme and thus can’t guarantee their compatibility. If I update the child theme, will it overwrite my original?

There are no specific instructions on a child theme update. When a child theme is activated, your site still uses the main theme but with the changes that are added on a child theme.
To update the theme download the zip-archive with the theme on your computer, unzip it and upload the new theme version on your server (please make sure there are no nested folders such as theater/theater). I recommend you to rename the theme version you used previously (for example name the theme folder “theater-old”), in such a case this theme version will be backed up at your server.
Besides don’t forget to update plugins as it is noted on the WordPress admin panel after the theme is updated.
Sometimes there is also a need to deactivate the theme and activate it again to make all changes that were implemented function correctly.
Please note that you might need to clear the cache in order to see the changes.
Another way is to update the theme automatically. To update the theme automatically you should use the Envato Market plugin. After activating the plugin, click on the “Envato Market” icon from the left sidebar. To generate your Global OAuth Personal Token click on this link and login using your Envato Market login details. Please copy & paste your unique token into the Envato settings inside your WordPress dashboard and click on “Save Changes”. Once you have configured this properly, you will see a screen where you can install or update your already purchased plugins & themes.
In case you’ve modified the theme files your customization won’t be used when the theme is updated though if you’ve added your custom codes to the appropriate fields via WordPress admin panel or in case you use a child theme, theme update won’t influence these modifications.
Theme update won’t influence the content you added – there will be no need to add content or set fonts/colors once again.

Hello, I have expired support but found very disappointing bug. I’m using WPBakery 6.6.0 Post Grid Element on page and it’s no showing posts in Apple devices (Mobile phones and Safari on Mac too). Also, every time I’m trying to edit button options in Post Grid it resets to default.

As much as we’d love to help we should note that the theme wasn’t advertised to be compatible with WPBakery plugin, we didn’t test its functioning with the theme and thus can’t guarantee compatibility, appreciate your understanding.
Hi, The Events Calendar is not working properly anymore. From August 3, 2021 you will have to switch to a new view, but this theme will not work. Tested with another theme and it works fine.
Can you watch this ASAP?

Hi, A client bought this plugin and it works great. Until 2-3 days ago when all the element settings disapeard. When I click on an element to edit, I get only a white box. No content. I have tried to disable all other plugins without any success.

Hello, I’m about to renew my support, but your Theme doesn’t work. When will be the next upgrade? I installed new version of WordPress 5.6, testing with jQuiery Migrate Center, nothing working. jQuiery is deprecated in Theater.

We can also recommend you to enable the Item update notifications in your Email Settings on Themeforest in order to receive notifications when new update is available for download.
