I bought the theme a few years ago but this domain didnt last long. Now a few years later im starting a new with a website again but the purchase code isnt working. think this is not the way to let clients down after a few years if the want to use the bought theme for a new domain when the old one has expired a very long time ago.

Hi! I’m currently using an old version of Bridge theme and hope to update it but I lost access to my Envato account. I’m planning to buy the theme again. Once I install the new bridge theme, will the content from the old version carry over automatically, without losing any website content? How is the process different from buying a new theme entirely? From help articles I’ve seen, I don’t see how the process would work for me and am worried about losing content.

Thanks for writing in! You should know that you can only access the updated theme files through the Envato account from which you have purchased the theme from.
You can follow the guidance on how to update the theme and its plugins here.
Also we do not know which version you are using but just in case if you have Envato Toolkit you should know that it is an outdated plugin. So, now you should use Envato Market and procedure is pretty much the same.
Please, just go to /wp-content/themes/bridge/framework/modules and remove whole folder envatowordpresstoolkit This is deprecated Envato Toolkit plugin that is replaced with Envato Market plugin.
If you are using child theme be aware of the following from our article here, just in case you should always make a backup of your existing website prior to updating the theme.

Spending hours just trying to get the ol and li lists, simple bullet lists in the Elementor text editor, to match the paragraph style. I don’t know why you don’t just make lists match the body font style. I cannot even style ol with CSS. Little things like this make me always regret choosing this theme.

Is the WP Bakery license included in the theme? When I try to activate the license via the plugins, I currently only get a 522 error page from the manufacturer (https://go.wpbakery.com/faq-update-in-theme).

Thanks for writing in! Please note that WPBakery does come bundled within the theme and you do not need to activate any license for it as bundled plugins do get updated when the theme is.

Hello, I thinking of buying the theme as one of the demo’s (Art-Shop) got my attention. Only in this demo, the product-page only show 1 product-image and no thumbnails when multiple images are assigned to the product in Woocommerce. I have tried and I keep getting a message that your email is not allowing any email and some babble of error 550—you have another way… Cause I have tried on my gmail and also other emails.. same deal. “SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: 550 High probability of spam”
