Why Main Menu categories disappear from top navigation bar when there is no product associated with such categories. That is not expected. I want to have all categories and subcategories shown regardless of the existence of the linked products. It is so basic function not to have. I’m spending hours on basic items that I never touched using other templates I worked on since 2015.

Also when enabled subcategories of main categories and hierarchically built the menu in the site settings the hovering on the main menu bar doesnt open up below subcategories. too tough on me.

The customisation is not required as I myself found out how to enable empty categories and make permanent main menu categories in full view even no products.

Pls help to wider the cells for each main menu category and lower the whole row to make it in the middle of the menu rectangular. Initially the shop 26 had icons above each category. since I renamed the categories the icons had disappeared. Can I add my own icons for each category name in that menu bar? how?

the css you gave enabled the dropdown subcategories view in Chrome. Actually, before that change the dropdowns worked perfectly in IE. Can you explain if this was a bug? why chrome did not drop the subcategories?

on this note I have to mention to you that I applied quite bold font for the top menu categories. The IE renders them no issues, chrome shows tiny font. WHY? can you help me to understand if provided editing in options are working for in the same way for chrome and IE. seems not.

In the Trusted Vendor slider which is built with the added logos of the vendors I tried to add transparent PNGs as expected that only logos to appear without any backgrounds. Actually, the transparent background appears. Is there any switch I can toggle to accept transparency into that prebuild slider.

On similar topic. Where the Slider plugin content related to this theme is located. There are no galleries outside of the elementor. The plugin requires a licence registration. Is it a given through this purchase or not?

This is not the Theme issue but this is your images issue, you have set the images having that transparent background: https://securitydistrict.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/bosch-logo-1.png and you have to upload the different images without any background and it will work for you as transparent images like: https://i0.wp.com/freepngimages.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/football-no-background.png?fit=895%2C895

so the answer is to have white background logos. the transparency is not supported as it became an unrequired artefact on my transparent logos. I added with white background , looks ok. if I change the page to other color, then I think white will be visible.

I am sorry but you did not understand it properly, your images was not transparent images but the images had the transparent background, transparent images does not have any background, please check the above given images again, Hope this will make sense. otherwise, please contact any graphic designer and ask to explain you more about it.

Shop page banner and Widget1 footer. Where to manage the from?

I have not been able to find a place where I could customise shop page including removal of that car part banner. I went to that Page and Elementor was not picking this page for editing. Where this image and where is the place to edit static elements of that page.

Also in the provided content the footer widgets placed in three columns. I was able to edit the all of them but cant find the ends of the Porto Ecommerce and dummy text with payment cards. Those need an update asap. Where to control that area?

4.Word Popular has disappeared on the grid that features the series of test products on front page.

5. It seems that google chrome doesnt much take of updates from any settings of the theme options e.g. skin/topo/colors/fonts. I disabled caching. IE updated ok. Seems when login to backend WP via chrome and not IE, chrome doesnt change the look of the site much. too weird.

If you are using the Elementor version of the Demo then you have to use the Porto Dialog Modal Box element and set it as per your requirements. Where is this as I cannot locate where to remove/delete the popup on homepage.

But each of the product images I uploaded on the site I set up looks different in size. I just couldn’t fix this. I installed and applied the “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin later, but it still did not improve. Would you help me with this topic?

2. I will have another question. I think there will be publisher and author sections on my site where I will sell books. But I couldn’t find a listing feature by author or publisher in your theme. While entering the products, I could not see a section to enter “author” and “publisher”. How can I make such listings?

You have to achieve it with a trick, you have to create 2 product categories as (Author and Publisher) and then assign your books products to these categories as per your requirements. now you can filter or use Porto Product Categories elements on any page of your site and set it as per your requirements, and it will work for you.

That Demo is basically the (Multi-Vendor, Marketplace) demo, first, you have to Install all the Theme required/recommended plugins including the Dokan plugin as well from Appearance >> Install Plugins.

And then you have to Import that Demo:

And then after that deactivate/delete the Dokan plugin and Multi-Vendor pages and it will work for you as a single shop.

And also could you please purchase a support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 16/04/2020. According to Envato’s support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

I have three tickets open after installation 2 days ago. There is no support available. I have basic things that dont work like changing color scheme of the theme content. Modificatio of blocks content as well doesnt reflect on the site look. thinking of a refund now.

I am sorry but that “json” file only works for the backup of the Theme Options, not for the pages, so with “json” file you can only reimport the Theme Options and for that, please change your “json” file extension as ”.css” and then edit it and copy all the content in it, now go to Porto >> Theme Options >> Import/Export and click on “Import From File” and paste the copied content into it and then click on “Import” button, after that click on “Save Changes” and check back your site after removing the browser cache.

Please go to Porto >> Theme License and try to activate the Theme again from there, if it will still not work for you then please try the below-listed solutions one by one.

It’s because your local environment can not access to our servers https://portotheme.com & sw-themes.com

Please try to ping our servers and let us know if it works? If the above addresses are blocked by your hosting provider and your site does not ale to request these addresses then you have to ask your hosting provider to remove the restrictions and solve this for you.

OR

Please enable curl extension from the server this will fix your issue. This extension is required for the registration process.

OR

The issue mostly occurs when the server has any kind of restriction and do not allow you to communicate your server with our internal server for activation, so please ask your hosting provider to remove all sorts/kinds of restrictions from your account and deactivate the firewalls for some time until you activate the theme.
