you have to upload the content of Source folder to magento root. Yes app/ and pub/ folder is being existing from Magento 2.0.x to Magento 2.4.x, but if you check the content of app and pub folder that in the theme package, they is different than with Magento2’s. You have to merge them, not replace folder

My dear how I’m going to merge 2 folders using SFTP this is something not possible! You should simplify the installation in more easier way!

2) Our document is so clearly, I can confirm that almost of our customer can use it to install the theme so far, I don’t understand what you are confusing.

1) Filezilla has no function to merge folders together. 2) In your documentation is mentioned that to copy the app folder to the root of magento. There is a folder there has the same name. You are saying merge it. What about the app folder in the patches folder? It is really confusing!

Yes but none of files are duplicate, app and pub in our theme, they include theme’s files only, not related to the files of Magento2 in app and pub of Magento2.

It includes the files to make the theme work on a specific magento2 version. When you upload them by filezilla, if it asks you to override the old files let override them
