The page-builder suddenly stopped working. When trying to add or edit element it would not save the changes, but instead it give “undefined” in all fields.
The theme is running on the latest version all plugins are up to date
Please advice on how to fix this issue.

I have the same problem as @ireparisi: “After changing some text details and updating the page, this lose every information there were inside previously. The only way to go back is restore a previous backup.” Not even chosing an old revision. Thanks.

I’ve updated the theme and all plugins and core files, and the problem is the same. And if I save my changes the page breaks whitout any possibility to change it after this modify. This error became permanent, the only way to go back is restore a previous backup.

I found the solution. For people who encountered conflicts with the builder, there are really high pourcent chances that this is a version problem (so update your theme) OR this is a plugin conflict. In my case that was a plugin conflict.

The theme has been automatically updated, but I ran a manually update yesterday. All plugins including required is updated. Still no luck on solving the issue. Is there a theme-version newer than 4.0?
Could you please also make sure you update all required plugins from Appearance > Install Plugins.
Also could you please provide URL of your site too?
