is there a mechanism to filter auctions by categories/subcategories?
can an item have links to closely related other items (e.g., exact same item but different color)

Single vendor mode as stated
Items can have multiple categories and as many children you want (subcategories) – there is no limitation on this. Basically, WooCommerce is using the categories tree principle from WordPress – where a category can have one or multiple subcategories and a product can have multiple categories/subcategories.
Products from the category will display other related products automatically (read the official documentation) from the same category or tags.
You can filter products by categories / subcategories by using the Category widget in any sidebar(step 1: https://i.imgur.com/FjRpShk.png | step 2: https://i.imgur.com/FFQ7ikw.png)

on the auction pages, it doesnt show any shipping field or shipping costs on the auction page. Cant see shipping until checkout. How can I show shipping costs when auction is live?

Hi there, in the vendor dashboard when adding auction items, the category and tag section goes over top of everything else. I can change the z-index of the dokan-form-group class but then all other dokan form groups are affected. When changing only the class of .select2-selection__rendered for example, changing the z-index does not work, even when I have specified positioning.

The theme can be used as a multi vendor platform (along with one of these supported marketplace plugins: WCFM, Dokan, WCMp, WC Vendors) -> you should see on what marketplace will be used but most probably most of them will support these functionalities.

The addon has two major functionalities requested by lots of our customers:
1. Customers has to purchase credits – packages: This is a way to verify the clients and only let those who paid a fee bidding on your products. Each product can have a preset requested number of credits (set by the vendor)
2. Vendors, in order to add their products, will need to purchase a package with a number of products (set by the admin; ex: a limited number of products / unlimited number of products). This way you will have trustable vendors on your platform.
These two functionalities were made for two purposes:
- help admin win extra cash from their customers / vendors
- make both sides trustable (vendors and admins) – Pay in order to bid / Pay in order to add your products.

- Winners will get notified via email (they will get a direct checkout – payment link) to purchase the product.
- Storing users credit cards is not a good idea at all. They usually store their credit card details into the browser, for faster payments.

I need the bidding to be dynamic increment like, the first bid is $5, if the bid price is between $5 to $10 then each bid increment is $1, if the bid price reaches between $10 to $20 each bid increment is $2.5, if the bid price reaches between $20 to $100 each bid increment is $5, if the bid price is more than $100 each bid increment is $10, does your theme support that? if not, how much is the customization?

3. Charge comissions based on sale price?
4. Verify sellers / vendors
5. Admin has to act an escrow service (admin keeps the transactions payments until they are completed – delivered)
6. Sellers / buyers rating and reviews?
7. Shipping methods: pick up, meet up, shipping
If all these requirements are not supported can you please provide what other compatible add-ons / plugins i would need for a site like this? I love your template so i need any additional plugins compatible with it.

2. Buy it now products can be added.
3. Commissions based on sale price can be set. Read more about ibid commissions.
4. Vendors/sellers are already approved manually or automatically by the admin. You can ask your vendors to pay a fee to add products/auctions on the platform – see the addon (not included with the theme) – more about MT Auction Subscriptions and Credits for iBid – here.
5. Payments are held into the admin’s account (paypal, bank account, etc…) Depending on the withdrawal settings, vendors will get their money – for example you can set to have the orders status completed – in order to be able to get the order value.
6. Yes, vendors can be rated, as well as their products

Looking for the full ebay experience. So far your theme + all addons and plugins will work for me. However there are a few features i think you dont support (or i havent found in your documentation). Please see the list below and let me know if they are included in your theme / addons and if they dont, then let me know how much will it cost to implement:
1. Auction type listing with ACCEPT OFFERS.
2. Buy Now type listing with ACCEPT OFFERS.
3. Private messaging between seller and buyer.
4. Seller and Buyer rating / review.
5. Verified Seller and Buyer badge.
6. Custom shipping fee set by buyer.
7. Custom commission . Base will be 10 , if its a “Power Seller” the commission could be lower (8%) for example.
8. All transactions paid should generate a transaction ID which should be included in the bank deposit (when the credit card is charged).
9. All Credit Cards should be verified via a small charge to the card. Then the owner should check their bank statement and confirm the amount charged. (like freelancer verifies credit cards).
10. Transaction completed confirmation. In the country where im starting this project theres no Post Office service so the seller will deliver the goods in person. Once the buyer pays, the system should give him an “approval code” that he can give the seller once he receives the item. Then the seller will put this approval code in the system to mark the transaction as completed. If you have another idea to confirm the transaction, im open to recommendations.
I think thats it for now.
