You can use one theme at a time. WordPress doesn’t allow to use 2 different themes under one domain. But maybe you can build 2 different websites under subdomains. For example, magazine.com for the main site and shop.magazine.com for the shop.
Flatsome supports RTL languages.

I have contacted support, but since the update my website has done some odd things. First, it changed icon colors and link colors which we were able to change back. Second, everything on our site is Capitalized (not including options we selected to be capitalized). Lastly, multiple things on the UX builder look one way (spacing/sizing/location) and then when applied/updated they do not show on the user front end of the website. Everything is updated as well, theme, wordpress and php with the Cache cleared as well. Anyone have similar issues?

Yes, you can switch to a child theme. But you’ll need to transfer all your customizations and theme options manually.
is there any instructions to follow? or list of customizations that i need to re-do?
If you have made any changes to the main theme files, you will need to import them to the child theme folder one by one. Transferring theme options is easy. With the parent theme active, go to Flatsome> Advanced> Backup & Import, copy all characters from the Theme Options Data, switch to the child theme, go to the same section, delete all existing characters, paste the characters you copied and click the “Import Options” button.
