Does this integrate with woocommerce? How can users register and login?

Hi there,

Thank you for taking interest in Roam theme. Yes, you are able to use WooCommerce with our theme. The theme is fully compatible with WooCommerce version 4.6.x.

Also, please note that tours are not connected to WooCommerce. We implemented Paypal as online payment, or if you disable Paypal you are able to arrange payment personally with your customer after sending a booking request.

The theme is coming with the Mikado Membership plugin, so users will be able to register and log in. To enable registration on your site, you will have to navigate to Settings > General > Membership and check Anyone can register here.

I’m looking for a theme that focusses on tour-booking.

- I have one-day tours only, but tours occur multiple times. - I would like to monitor the bookings, if available spots can be displayed on the frontend, that would be great. - I would like visitors to be able to filter by categories and tags. - I would like them to be able to pay using more options than only PayPal (so maybe through WooCommerce, but without having to make a product of each tour). - I would like to be able to adjust confirmation messages and emails.

You can add any tour dates and number of available spots in “Mikado Tour Booking” section in tour single pages ( screenshot), however there is no option to display number of spots in tour single pages, this is tracked in the backend.

For filtering tours you can use search form displayed on this demo page.

The booking process isn’t integrated with WooCommerce, and there is only a PayPal integration for online payment. If PayPal is disabled, you could arrange payment personally with your customers since you’ve got an email about a reservation.

Confirmation messages which appear when user makes a booking and email texts can be adjusted/translated using the translation plugin like Loco Translate.

We are sorry for the typo. The user is now required to log in in order to be able to book a tour (please see change log).

If you wish to revert the change, you need to edit the file located at wp-content/plugins/mikado-tours/post-types/tours/templates/single/booking-form.php

To use google maps on single tour pages it is necessary to generate and use Google Maps API Key as explained in this article – How To Generate And Use The Google Maps API Keys.

HI, Please help me with the below questions 1. I need assistance with the about page, I needed to customize it to have only 3 rows on the WP bakery page builder’s “Mikado Icons with text” not 4, so I deleted 1 row but now when I update the website the empty space shows where the deleted row was. Hello I’ve tested the theme’s pages’ Speed using PageSpeed Insights and It show that the pages speed is 10% on average on phones and does not exceed 40% on computers, Do you have a plan to make your theme’s pages more fast?

Please note that for our demo site, we haven’t done specific site speed optimization because the main accent was put on showing all the features and elements from the theme, as well as keeping the highest quality of the photos. There are many ways and tricks for improving WordPress site speed so-called speed optimization. A balance between size and quality is necessary. A good hosting server is also very important for the site´s performance. We always give advises to our users in support tickets when they build a site in our theme, what steps they should take in order to improve the speed.

Hello, I would like to ask before I buy your theme if you propose any booking plugin for the tours. I need to have availability for group tours (depending on the maximum number of person for each tour). Also can a customer pay using other payment methods and not only Paypal? Finally are you going to have any updates because the last one is 5 months ago. thank you

We have our own custom booking module. We haven’t tested any other plugins, and integrating them with our module would involve additional coding, which falls out of our support scope. Grouping tours is not possible, and PayPal is the only payment system integrated with our theme. Changing all of this would require additional coding, which falls out of our support scope.

Regarding updates, Roam works fine with the latest version of WordPress and bundled plugins. Hi… sorry I don’t want to translate it to a different language.. I want to change the tab labels to represent a lodge/guesthouse… not a tour hence my question above to change tour plan / itinerary to typical day?

You can simply translate it to another label, it does not necessarily need to be in a different language.

Anyway if you do not wish to do this like we suggested you can always try to change the text labels from theme files. For tour tabs you can check this file:

wp-content\plugins\mikado-tours\post-types\tours\helper-functions.php
