Hello team, awesome work with this theme, thank you! I have a problem changing the logo on Minty Pro template, I’ve tried everything but the theme refuses to change the logo. There’s a problem with the built-in share plugin in that featured images don’t always show when posts are shared on Twitter – only a placeholder where the image should be. I thought it may have been a problem with SEO Yoast so I switched to a different theme and Twitter summary cards worked properly.

This element is a block https://i.imgur.com/IcHc0sB.jpgif that is the one you are referring to. It can be replaced with a slide, there is a slide element you could use, instead of that block which can be deleted from the homepage https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/ The slide has an auto-slide option. In the slide for the font there are settings but for the underline there aren’t. However, we could suggest a solution for it. That is quite an old theme version. There have been many updates since them, including a few major ones https://tagdiv.com/newspaper To name a few important ones, this update https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ and this one https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-update-standard-pack-or-tagdiv-cloud-templates/ However, the update should go fine.
Here is the guide https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ Download the latest theme version from your themeforest account, make a backup of the website, then update the theme either by WordPress or by file manager. For the theme plugins there will be update buttons here https://i.imgur.com/brwHIve.png Basically that would be all that has to be done.

BUG REPORT:
In “Social Counter” the “Feed Subscriber count” is adding a space in front of the URL
example, for ID i put “blogging”
Then when users click the feed icon it goes to

Hi tagDiv, I am interesting in your Newspaper theme and have several problems
1.For an end user (from registering, not the administrator), can I set up as the same frontend editing environment as in the backend (ie like an embedded gutenberg or other editors in the frontend “post” form submit) ?
It’s important for me to let the registered end uses to construct the same style post (such as news or blogs) as me (the administrator). Cause I wanna have gutenberg block functions, like “table”, “video block”...& many others.
2. extend to 1. If not. what alternative plan do you recommend ?
3.Is there a “member management system” built in your theme? If not, What plugins can I choose to construct the system compatible for the theme?
4.May you give me the demo username & password to play a registered role for trying the edit news functions. Thanks

Thank you for your interest in our Newspaper theme. I will try to help.
1. Unfortunately the theme doesn’t provide front end post submission. Users can contribute with content to the website normally, in the backend, by creating posts, pages, according to their user roles. The posts can be built with the WordPress editors, the pages and templates with our composer.
2. Maybe it could be done with a plugin, there should be such plugins available. You could try a few if you should decide to purchase the theme, and make some tests with them.
3. At this time there isn’t, something like this could be added in the future. It is only possible with a membership plugin currently.
4. We can’t provide the login credentials for our live demos unfortunately. The only way to test the theme would be to purchase it, install it for example in a testing/staging environment where it can be tested. There you could also try a few plugins that have the capabilities you are looking for and which the theme does not have. Then if you should decide that the theme is not suited for the website you wish to create, we will be able to provide a refund.

Changing the WordPress theme if that is what you mean, won’t affect the content you created on the website, meaning pages, posts, categories, tags etc. After changing the theme you will just have to use the features and options of the new theme instead, for the website.

Please make the function of auto adding “Last updated” or “modified” date for articles. It is very usefull for seo and performance at all. Lots of people just want it without downloading templates, with function in theme.

Using the last modified/updated date on posts is possible when using cloud post templates https://i.imgur.com/bmTvtUi.png For the standard templates it isn’t available however, they can only display the publish date of the posts. I can’t say if this will be possible for the standard templates at some point, sorry for the inconvenience. Maybe you could consider using cloud templates, there are quite a few to choose from https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single and more will be added as new demos are added in the theme.

Experiencing a weird problem!
The problem is in the category page where posts loop is used all posts in the category. There were 3 columns or 3 modules per row. Whenever I try to make 1, it shows 3 columns and images are too small. If I try with 2 modules, it works fine. But it seems it got problem with 1 column.
I tried purging cache/CDN, also delete the block and recreating from scratch but still no luck. Is there anything I’m missing?
What I am trying to do is style the category page to make it look like my author and search page. So, I copied every setting option, but still doesn’t work for some reason.
Just noticed that, it’s only appearing this way when I visit the category page from another browser in incognito. But it shows perfectly when I check the page using view button of Tagdiv composer.
Update: Replaced with Posts Loop 2, now it’s working fine.
