I am faced with the same limitation once again. It’s about the grid. Why can’t I exclude a category?
Example:
Main Category “A”
subcategory “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”
In the first grid I set:
A -> B, C
I put in the second grid
A -> D, E
Both the grid shows all posts from “B”, “C”, “D”, “E” – this is wrong.
This grid is terribly flawed and you haven’t improved it until today. Just add an option to exclude categories. Or maybe add a condition to show only what is selected?

It’s a default WordPress behavior, when you visit the parent category page, you also see all sub-category posts. The Grid element just follows the default WordPress flow. We have a feature request for this feature https://help.us-themes.com/impreza/tickets/36874/ so we’ll consider implementing it when it will receive a significant amount of voices from other clients. If you need an immediate solution, you can hire a separate developer to implement this feature for you.

How many votes must there be for you to graciously implement this?
Sometimes feature can be implemented with fewer votes but it depends on the complicity of the implementation. This particular request requires lots of resources so I think that it should gain twice bigger amount of votes to be implemented. At the moment our devs focused on a major release that should be available within a month, then we’ll consider adding new features.

The front end editor is no longer working. WPBakery will give me a blank screen when I edit an existing block. I can duplucate blocks but not edit or save them. What could be going on? I’ve updated the theme and all plugins and it stil doesn’t work. Please help?

This issue might be caused by 3rd party plugins. Please deactivate all plugins that aren’t related to Impreza, clear all cache and try again.

I have one more question… I thought that you were able to open up a portfolio item in the grid and have a pop up display with a gallery etc? Is this no longer the case? Some items I do not want to have a page for, how can I achieve this?

Unfortunately, widgets don’t provide this feature out of the box. But you can remove titles from widgets and add them as Text elements directly to your footer page block.

Parallax is deactivated on small screens by default due to performance reasons. You can enable effects at Theme Options > Site Layout by reducing the “Effects Disabling Width”.

Sorry, the Map element doesn’t support any dynamic data out of the box. It supposed to be adjusted manually via Map Settings. The Grid Filter can only filter Grid/Carousel content, it can’t affect any other elements. If none of the 3rd party plugins worked, I think that you need some in-house PHP-based solution that will add custom data to the map. You can hire a separate developer for this job.

Hello, I updated my Impreza theme to the 4.7 version with WordPress 5.7.2. Now, when I go to the theme options I can’t change the sections. I disabled my plugins to avoid some conflict, but it doesn’t solved the problem. On console, the javascript error appears as “Uncaught TypeError: $btnDelGroup.live is not a function”. I tried to find some answer in other comments, but I didn’t find any. Is it an update problem? Or maybe a javascript conflict? Hope you can help me with it. Thank you.

I wrote it wrong. The page “jumps” down after selecting the options in the grid filter.
In the link, please see the page. Please select an option from “subject”. For example, “lists”, “menus”. The results are loading and the page “jumps” down and you have to scroll up. Can you fix it with a code to automatically scroll to the top?

Unfortunately, CSS doesn’t allow to scroll the content. You need a more complex JavaScript solution to implement such a scroller, you can hire a separate developer for this job.

I purchased and was hoping to set up the site with the Creative Agency demo and tailor it to my needs. I’ve tried a couple other demos to import and they all do the same thing – They hang on the import w/ the loading ring endlessly spinning. I’ve waited 30 minutes and nothing.
