I’m trying to setup this theme on a localhost(using MaMP pro), I can install other plugins fine via the plugins option in the dashboard but when I run the setup wizard, I keep getting ajax error for the plugins especially the porto functionality, where can I download this?

Please go to Porto >> Theme License and deactivate the Theme from there and then again activate the Theme from there with the same purchase code and then go to Appearance >> Install Plugins and try to Install/update the plugin from there, I am sure it will work for you, otherwise, please contact us via our support system so that we will check it for you.

Hi, I’m trying to update my clients theme files and the Porto Functionality will not update or install after being deleted, through the Porto Set-up Wizard, no matter how many times I try. Do you have a zip file so that I can try loading it through my Filezilla instead?

Please go to Porto >> Theme license and deactivate the Theme from there and then again activate the Theme from there with the same purchase code and then go to Appearance >> Install Plugins and try to Install/Update the plugin from there, save changes and check back your site after removing the browser cache.

It works but it just adds content to the 404 page. The original graphics and text remain “We’re sorry, but the page you were looking for doesn’t exist.”

Yes, the documentation is up to date, the block for the 404 pages is referring in the documentation: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/how-to-create-custom-404-page-content/ is only used for the extra content on the 404 pages.
The content: “We’re sorry, but the page you were looking for doesn’t exist.” on the 404 pages, if you want to change it, you have to translate it into the Theme language files as per your requirements: https://postimg.cc/8fv3FJnb & https://postimg.cc/8F3thkvX

Sorry to say that but there is no such issue with our Theme, this must be on your site only, please follow the below listed debugging processes one by one, I am sure it will help you in finding the cause of the issue.
I. Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
II. Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
III. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
IV. Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V. Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it
VI. If you have setup the Porto Speed Optimization Wizard, then please reset it and set all the options to default, uncheck all the options and save changes/compile and check back your site after removing the cache of the browser.

You suggested, that “Ask a Question” button on product pages is a part of a theme and can be placed below Add to Cart or anywhere on product pages, using Page builder. And the same form can be further customized too.
However, when I ask the support team on how to do that. They simply dendied and informed, that it has been customized and we need to edit theme core files.
How come possible

Really sorry for the inconviniance, but I have just confirmed from the support department and they said that the support agent which replied your support ticket, mis-understood your issue and the agent thinks that you are using the pre-built layout of the product pages and with those that is not possible and the agent is right, so I asked support department to please look through your support ticket again, but with Custom product layout builder, so please be patience now, you will get the reply from one of our agent soon, and please in future try to share the comment URL as well with ticket, if you asked something on comments section.

Yes, another agent now responded queries with details.
Sharing the URL would not have required, if the previous support agent had answered at first instance. He actually ignored most of the points too on that ticket and answered in very short, and did not even suggested that it can be achieved through Custom Product Layout Builder option by creating the Single Product page template first
Also, if the feature and possibility is there, then sharing the comment section URL should not be required, too

I just received an e-mail that I can update my Porto Woocommerce Theme. I can download it at the downloda page of Themeforest. Now it’s a bit unclear to me. The theme will normally be updated in Woocommerce updates or am I wrong?

You can only turn ON/OFF the Floating Add to Cart on Desktop using Theme Options, from Porto >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Single Product and if you want to turn it ON on mobile as well, then you can using Custom CSS, If you have already enabled it ON desktop then share the single product page URL so that I’ll check and provide you the Custom CSS for it.

Provided working well but we can do much better to inherit behavior just like floating add to card button in desktop to add to card button in mobile.
I mean,
In desktop version, Floating button is coming when we loose focus of button while scrolling to down but same floating button is always visible in mobile which can lead to bad user experience.
Can we do something to make floating button available in mobile only when we loose focus to product button while scrolling to down. This can increase overall CTR and sell as well

Sorry to say that but this is the default behavior of the feature, and there is no option in our Theme for it, so for you, I am forwarding this to our development department for considering adding it in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.
