Hello: I have just updated my site with the latest version of Motors and unfortunately it has not given the best results.
The previous custom CSS changes now don’t apply and I can’t solve it. I’ll give you the detail to see if you can help me and avoid going back to the previous version:
On the catalog and product page it shows the sidebar and even if it hides it, the rest are four columns and my product photo looks smaller.
The underlining lines in the menu have changed to orange and there is nowhere to change it in the new control panel.
Please could you tell me how to solve it. I am looking forward to your response.

Great Theme and well programmed – Thumbs up! Unfortunately we have a small problem. We need 1 of the options to be necessary. So for every booking this option need to be attached as well. It should not be able to delete this option also.

The booking functionality is integrated with the WooCommerce plugin. So we used the default WooCommerce fields in the booking form. If you need to include an additional field, then you should modify the WooCommerce templates used in the theme root directory.

Which email plugin works with this theme? WP MAIL SMTP doesnt seem to work with it latest update.. shows “Message body empty” with each message.

The theme uses the default wp_mail() function of WordPress. That kind of error appears when the Contact Form 7 forms are not properly configured. There is nothing to with the WP Mail SMTP plugin.
Please check your froms’ settings and add proper values.

I forgot to mention that this fails with the user registration form. The confirmation email is not transmitted to the user as it says the message body is empty.

Updated the theme and it broke the parent and child sites… The customize options have been moved to a separate theme options area but half of the new options do not even work. The ability to import previous style settings are greyed out. The theme went from being a great theme to a rubbish theme in no time…

The theme options section contains the basic settings of the theme. Those settings are properly working on other websites. Please ensure that you have updated the core plugins to the most recent versions.

The plugins were updated before the theme was updated. A ticket with screen prints was submitted days ago already with no feedback. We cannot use a theme which is broken by your update and then hang in limbo for someone to eventually fix that. Who do we claim the lost revenue from for the broken website?
It isn’t possible to update the core plugins of the theme before the theme update. Since those plugins are located on our Server and the new versions are available only for the most recent of the theme.
Once again, please ensure that you are using the theme version 5.0.6, Motors – Car Dealer, Classifieds & Listing (6.8.3), STM Motors Extends (1.4.9).

The website cache was refreshed, and all plugins updated. The website is still the same with styling errors and a floating “M” all over the pages.
What was the point of logging a ticket and providing you with the login details (username/password) when a generic answer was provided but not a solution?

I have a problem with the “PAY FOR LISTING” option. When a user wants to use this option, it automatically takes them to the payment page. But he can’t pay. Hello, how are you ? With last update there are strange things going on :
1. the h4 class= “title heading-font” takes the style of h6 (e.g. font-size 12px) – see screenshot below
2. you added a new different color to each icon in wp-content/themes/motors/assets/css/service-icons.css?ver=2.5. So the color chosed in wp-bakery for icons is overwritten by your css. I deleted those colors and add the path and css to child-theme, but did not work. The only way to delete them is directly in theme. It should be possible to choose own colors, like before.

This throws the error of using 2 canonical links for the same page, which is not good for seo. Of course, I can delete those lines and add the header.php to child-theme, but with seo-plugins this does not make much sense.
4. One more console error & the close.png is missing = 404 error : DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for …/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/lib/bower/lightbox2/dist/js/lightbox.min.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE

1. Please pay attention to the class names in your screenshot. The H4 uses the heading-font class as well as other heading tags. This is a general class name with general styles.
Have you tried to set custom settings for H4 in the Theme Options?
2. You don’t have to modify the core CSS files to change the color of the icons. You can change the icon color directly in the STM Icon Box settings – http://joxi.ru/MAj5oLPs1RBPG2
3. Your request regarding the header.php isn’t clear to me. Could you please provide more details?
4. The error comes from the WPBakery Page Builder plugin’s folder. Please make sure that you have updated the plugin alongside the theme. Re-installation of the plugin can solve the problem as well.

Hi, thanks for reply. 1. THe class name ‘heading-font’ is added by your theme/icon-box. So you might understand that if you choose H4 but it takes the styles of H6 because of this general class that makes no sense. How get rid of this .heading-font ? And yes, I set custom settings for H4 in theme options. For it doesn’t take my style of font-size H4, i changed the font-size of H6 to make it look all right.
2. I did change the colors of the icons in Icon Box settings, but it was overwritten by your stylesheet wp-content/themes/motors/assets/css/service-icons.css like I mentionned above. That’s why I wrote about it.
3. 1. We have checked the theme options once again. The problem with the STM Icon Box. Please select the H4 in the element settings and use custom CSS like:

This means that you are using images with low dimensions. We used images with 1110×664 dimensions. You need to use at least the same dimensions.

1. That section can be removed using this custom CSS:

2. This isn’t an image. We used our custom font icon in the listing gallery section. You need to create an SVG image and convert it to the font icon using this manual. After, we can provide custom styles to change the default icon.
3. The price field accepts only integers by default. You need to set a price delimiter in the Theme Options > Inventory Settings >Price section.
