The problem is not with my images, they are all less than 100kb, and I use Imagify plugin to optimize them. It comes from the fonts and the many JS resources that take a long time to load…

Hello! I am troubleshooting a max_input_vars issue. I have two websites, both with Uncode on them. However one website shows the max_input_vars (allowed) updated to 3000, and the other one still says 1000. I have updated the max_input_vars to 3000 on both. The Uncode system status page shows max_input_vars as 3000 on both. But for some reason, only one of the websites shows the max_input_vars (allowed) value as 3000 and the other one still shows max_input_vars (allowed) as 1000. They are both hosted on GoDaddy using the same type of hosting. Both info.php pages show the local value to be 3000 and master value to be 1000. How can I go about troubleshooting this issue? It’s weird to me that both websites seem to be exactly the same setup, except for the max_input_vars (allowed) value on one isn’t updating.

if the master value is set to 1000, you can’t set a local value higher than that: the master value must be higher or the same of the local one, it is a server rule of course. The strange thing is that one of them displays 3000. Did you try to update it recently by clicking the icon https://undsgn.d.pr/FXNn1Q ? When you click the icon Uncode tries to send as many variables as possible, as far as the system allows based on its settings, so it’s a real test that evaluates the availability of vars, it’s not just a data read from the system.

Any reason why this theme hasn’t been updated in three months, whilst Woocommerce is at version 5.4.2 and Uncode is only compatible with Woocommerce up to 5.2.0?

Try to follow the suggestions above, and try to create a variation product from scratch, otherwise ok open a ticket so developers can debug your installation.
Ok but as show on our demo this is something that perfectly works (https://undsgn.com/uncode/product/product-columns/). Unfortunately, support expiration is a rule from Envato, also if you have 100 licenses, otherwise all users with customer expired should expect the same.

Hi, in the post settings>build query it’s not allowing me to put in certain categories (it’s not saving when i type them in), would you have any idea? (i can change/save other things such as post count, order by etc but unable to save fields where it says ‘click here and start typing…’), thanks!

Otherwise if you have this error when using normal blog posts categories this can be related to a Memory Limit issue.

Newest version of PHP are more performant than older.
updating the php and increasing the memory limits hasn’t worked

If you are querying for Portfolio elements you should use the Taxonomies, and not Category os your screenshot, if this doesn’t help follow the suggested manual procedure ( https://themeforest.net/comments/20204218 ) since from here we cannot know what is the problem.
as said previously it doesn’t work with taxonomies (you put in tag, and it doesn’t save)
Ok so why you send a screenshot with categories? Anyway, as we have already said, we can’t work magic and understand why it doesn’t work as expected on your installation just in words from here. If you want to open a ticket (it is related to memory or server settings other than standard) or use the manual workaround suggested procedure.

I deactivated all plugins except the Uncode originals core/ wireframes/privacy/wpbackery page builder & visual composer and the problem is still the same. I tried different devices and different browsers (Safari & Firefox), always the same issue. In 5 years of working with this theme I had one email exchange with Dave from the Uncode support team about the installation process. So it is not like I am bothering you with my requests. I understand that you don’t want to give support without paying for it. But again, I don’t have a customization issue but an issue with the “normal” functioning of the theme and that is according to your own definitions of support topics not a payed support issue as stated on your support information page. Yet you give no other option to approach you besides making a comment here, sending a feature request or a ticket with payed support. There seems to be no other contact possibility where I could clarify this issue.
Ok but in all this talk you still haven’t created any screenshots to make us understand the problem. We have already told you to make us understand the issue because for us it is not clear. Then please don’t talk about support expiring, this is an Envato rule, you can’t really expect to have lifetime support, support is like the warranty of any product you buy, after a while it expires if it’s not renewed.
PS: there are also free sharing tool you can use to record a quick screencast so developers can replicate all the steps.

Thank you for the video. That is how I remember it working when I used the theme years ago. So I understand I am the only one facing this issue at the moment. I hoped you would know it already and point me into a direction if it’s the latest WP update that could cause such an issue or anything like that. It´s especially annoying as this is the main function I will need for a blog again and again, putting up posts with the editors. Anyway, thanks for your help…

Obviously if someone reports the problem and we can see it it will be fixed like everything else, but I think it is for some reason really limited to your installation.

When changing from classic mode to front end or backend editor when editing a post, then the formatting is lost and either padding or margin is gone. The text will instead be displayed full content width. Is this a bug? Can it be fixed? At the moment if I want to add an image or media I can only do that in classic mode. Which leaves me restricted in options.

Hi, If I add an element in backend editor (single media, text block or empty space etc.) and I update it, then the page with the post will be displayed in full content width without any formatting. If I then go back into classic mode what I see then is a piece of shortcode that shouldn’t be there in the visual mode of the classic editor: vc_row[vc_column_text] … /vc_column_text/vc_column – and the formatting still stays at full width after switching into classic mode. If I then delete the shortcode in classic mode it will go back to the formatting as it was before but I will have to delete this shortcode anytime I switch between the editors.

In fact, if you have an alleged bug that no other user has reported, the best thing to do is to open a ticket so developers can check or pass clear enough information to be able to replicate it.

yes i have imported it, and even if i duplicate a portfolio item, say with a tall rectangular featured image, it will change the featured image to a smaller rectangle
Please follow the tutorial and the video, you can also set from the module ratio of the Single Block tab for each elemenT.

yes I’ve watched the video and looked at the documentation but it doesn’t make reference as to how to change the size of the featured image. I’ve looked in portfolio item/featured image and nothing refers to changing display size and every featured image of new portfolio item has the same size

Support expiration is one of the terms each ThemeForest user accept at the time of the purchase, it’s not possible to have also lifetime support for the modest cost of the theme. Anyway, user with support expired can always contact authors as you are doing now (and support is not “terrible” as you reported, but practically “real-time”). Ok we wait for your DM.
I’ve got an issue with the Feature Image of a product, and when I switch to a variant, it only shows you on the immediate image.
Meaning, you have to toggle back to the feature image “spot” to see the variation selections show.
What can I do to make it change the image, no matter the location of the feature image?
The image gallery doesn’t change. I’m just confused….

Hi, I found the .mobile-hidden class always overridden by div { display: block; } when it comes to mobile view. Hence the page always displays 2 elements which are desktop and mobile view.
