Hello, I’d purchased your theme way back and have been using without any inconvenience until I recently encountered an issue with the visual composer. It looks like it got outdated. Can you tell me how to update the plugin or is it possible for you to send the updated plugin? Thanks in advance

Does the template have the ability for customers to register accounts for them, sell their own cars on the site, and receive offers through a control panel for each customer? This is the first question Is there a trial version to access the control panel?

Dear Theme suite, I am happy to purchase support renewal if that’s what’s needed but my theme will not update. we have followed the steps to the letter but it keeps telling us that it cannot update and it has become buggy for us.
Hi Roni – Nice to hear from you, hope you are doing well! I just searched through your 37 support tickets and managed to find your website URL in one of them. I had a look at the source code and the problem is that you are using a very old version of the Automotive theme and Automotive Listings plugin that used the old Envato API system that has been disabled for a over two years now. The current versions of these products use the new OAUTH system. To resolve the problem you will need to manually update your theme and plugin to the latest versions via FTP, and then connect your account with the Login with Envato button under Theme Options >> Update Settings and you will be all set to receive automatic updates moving forward. 
All sorted, you guys have been great, to anyone reading this and wondering about these guys and their theme, its the best combination of product and support you will find, just buy it, worth every cent.

In demo, there are layout issues in woocommerce pages, margins and some bugs, can you fix it?
Yes for sure. I just had a look through it on my side here and on our demo site and I’m not seeing any issues on either platform, however if you renew your support and open up a Support Ticket including temporary login details for wp-admin and FTP we will be happy to help you troubleshoot whatever is happening on your end. I mean, in responsive mode, margins are not correct, in shop and in product page.
We have tested it on mobile and tablet but can’t seem to see the issue. Do you see the problem on our WooCommerce demo site at https://demo.themesuite.com/automotive-wp/shop/ or is it only visible on your website? If it is only on your website we would need to look at your specific website to investigate via support ticket, but if you can see the problem on our demo site, can you let us know what device / browser / operating system you are using so we can try and see the problem? Sorry to hear you are having trouble! You have some sort of web hosting problem going on, it looks like maybe a permissions problem where your server can’t write the files to the directory. When it says ” No ha sido posible copiar el archivo. ” that means “The file could not be copied” which sounds like some sort of file system issue on the server. If you would like to open up a Support Ticket and provide us with the error_log from your website as well as temporary wp-admin and FTP access we would be happy to take a closer look at it and help you pinpoint the problem down so you can tell your web host exactly what is going on. Hi, I installed the theme, and when I try to install the child theme it tells me that the file already exists. Version 12.2 is definitely installed, but child theme 4.0 is missing?
The second question concerns the slider revolution. In the plugins it tells me to activate it, but i allready did that by finishing the set up off theme itself. And all inserted images are blurred. Do we get pictures by buying a theme or it comes with picture like this? Thank in advance.
1. For the child theme issue, please make sure that the child theme folder is named automotive-child in the /wp-content/themes/ directory. You can also unzip the child theme zip and manually upload it as well. If that is not the issue, could you open up a Support Ticket including temporary wp-admin and FTP logins to your website so we can investigate?
2. Slider Revolution is a bundled plugin that comes with the theme. We purchased an Extended License that allows you to use it. It is not an Individual License that you would activate. Slider Revolution includes these activation messages to try and get more sales. 3. As with most themes on ThemeForest the theme only includes placeholder images, the photos are not included. The idea is that you will replace the photos with photos of your own vehicles / brands / models.

It looks like you entered an Envato purchase code, not a Theme Suite plugin license. To add your Envato products simply click the below button “Grab Envato Products”

there is no option anywhere to ‘grab envato products’
on the setup wizard, it goes plugins>updates then asks to login with envato it then asks for me to choose a purchase code (not a licence) for this site. I have the option of my previous purchase code, which is in use on another site and loaded without any trouble, ands this new one. I can only choose a code, I can not enter one. when I register it goes straight to an error page. This is where I am being told i am entering the wrong code, however I am choosing one of the options, not entering a code.

how do i get my theme suite plug in licence, I have two envato purchase codes but can not register the site or register for support.
It sounds like you are entering an Envato purchase code in the Theme Suite purchase code area (two different types of license, the Theme Suite licenses are for our premium plugins, not this theme). For Envato purchase codes you just click the “Grab Envato Products” button and it will download your purchase codes.

Hi we need to import the images via XML from our DMS. Is it possible to code it so that it can be something like this: https://websiteurl/vehicles/<VehicleId>-1.jpg, https://websiteurl/vehicles/<VehicleId>-2.jpg,https://websiteurl/vehicles/<VehicleId>-3.jpg etc?
How would we code that into the importer when we can only drag the options provided but not write code around that?

How to reset support? A support page says to reset support via the ‘my products’ page. However, when I log in to my themeforest account, there is not ‘my products’ page. There is a ‘downloads’ page, and the theme in question is there, though I don’t see a ‘reset’ button. Just curious where the ‘my products’ page is, is it somewhere other than themeforest? Thank you for your help.
You reset your support on ThemeForest when you visit the product page and on the top right corner you will see a green Renew Support button. After you do that, you visit our support site at https://support.themesuite.com carry on with what you explained in your comments
Thank you. I’m trying to update parts of the theme, though when I do so it says the theme we purchased is being used by another site. However, that site has not been online for a few years. Do i still need to renew support to get that fixed? Thank you for your help.
No you don’t need to renew for that, you can reset your licenses under My Products on our support site at https://support.themesuite.com
Hi! When I try to update the theme, I can’t login to Envato from the Theme Settings. I only have the “Used purchased codes” that I can’t choose.
Do I have to have an updated support license to even update the theme???
No, you do not need to renew your support license to update the theme. You can either download the latest version from the Downloads tab of your ThemeForest account, or you can login to our Support website and you can reset your license key under My Products and then you can go back to Theme Options >> Update Settings and you should be able to connect your theme license to your Envato account.

You would need to renew your support on ThemeForest and then open a Support Ticket and put in a request for whatever version you require and they will retrieve it from an archive and send you.

Our theme 100% supports WooCommerce. If you want to use it to sell cars you can. If you wanted it to tie it in with the inventory listings this would take some customization as the WooCommerce is separate from the listings. Hi. Very nice theme. I checked your demo admin area and I have 2 questions and a feature proposal. (1). If I add a new Listing Category, a) how can I show it on the admin area under Listings and b) how can I show it in the front end on the right side of the car images (2). In the loan calculator the interest and down payment doesn’t change from 7 to 7.9 and from 1000 to 5000 respectively. (3). There is no way to pull the data to the Technical Specifications tab automatically. It’s in HTML and I think it would be a good idea to be able to pull them directly from the admin area

1a. When you add a new category under Listings >> Listing Categories it will automatically show up on the admin area under Listings >> your listing >> Listing Categories.
1b. You can show it on the right side of the car images on the front end by checking off the box Use On Listing when you edit the Listing Category. You can only have a maximum of 10 categories set to ‘Use On Listing’ so you may need to uncheck one if you currently are using the maximum.
2. You need to change this under Appearance >> Widgets >> Single Listing Sidebar as well as Appearance >> Widgets >> Listing Sidebar depending which you are looking at.
3. Thanks for the suggestion! The only problem I can see with this is that a lot of customers like to customize these tabs with their own content and tab headings, so using the WP editor for this can be handy for the flexibility it provides. Adding a requirement such as Technical Specs limits that, and it’s fairly easy to copy/paste the HTML code if you want to keep the formatting. That said, we will have a look at this and take it under consideration. Thanks for the suggestion!
