Hi, can I import a demo with out the content. Am asking because we already have a wbesite and with a of content in it, if we install a demo theme from you, we do not wnt the content to come, except all the pages and styel sheets to be imported in. Can tat happen, as some other themes allow that

After the last update all featured images are not showing or taking too much time to appear. I have never had an issue with this. The images are compressed and are small in size. Lazy load is disable in Jetpack.

A client of mine is interested in purchasing your template. One of the features that they find important is a video background.

A little help please. Need I to run Critical-CSS-Tool every time that I update the Soledad Theme? If yes, I would need too to delete the css files uploaded to my site directories before running Critical-CSS-Tool again?

No – you don’t need to do that for all updates from Soledad. If you change the layout affect much to the first screen like header style, featured slider style on the homepage ( the first screen is the preview on Google Page Speed – check this image to understand more detail ). And when you regenerate the critical CSS, just need to click to “Upload CSS” button ( on the right side of CSS files ) on the Critical CSS Tool to upload & override the old critical CSS files.

Hello, very much interested in this theme. I love it. I am wondering: For the game news theme, I’ve noticed how you have a main header that can show the most recent posts, and underneath are individual ‘blocks / sections’ titled ‘Mobile Gaming’, ‘Console Gaming’, etc. I’m wondering if there is a way to prevent the showing of duplicate posts with these tags. For example, lets say I post a ‘Console Gaming’ article – it will then show up in the main header, but what I don’t want is the same exact post to be visible in the ‘Console Gaming’ section until it’s no longer in the main header area (hopefully this makes sense). I’m not sure if this is a theme specific question or if this is a setting under wordpress under blog sections or something. Appreciate it!

At this moment, this theme just supports filter by categories, tags/ exclude categories/tags. But we have a plan with this feature, it can be added in the next update version of Soledad, so you can get this feature in the near future.

When we update the theme, you can get notice email and notice about updates via your dashboard. On the Themeforest, if we update the banner preview or logo, it will be showing as updated. So, it’s not correct.

You should revoke license for your domain via Dashboard > Soledad > Theme License before deleting your site to make sure the license can be activated on another domain.

Hi, I recently did a speed audit on my site and found that the soledad theme was responsible for majorly slowing down my site. When I uninstalled it my site went from a 30 rating on google page speed to a 90. I tried using the speed optimizer plugin but when I add the urls to the program you provided I get a critical error? Also I’m a little put out by this solution because my site has over 200 pages/posts and it will take me forever to input every single one. I saw on a ticket you’ve acknowledge that soledad is slowing down peoples sights, surely there’s a better solution than manually entering every single url on my site into a glitchy microsoft only program that looks like it’s from the early 90s? You just need to generate critical CSS for a representative URL of a page type.
Example:
You just need to generate critical CSS for ONE Single Post Page URL and it will apply for all the Single Post Pages.
You just need to generate critical CSS for ONE Category URL and it will apply for all the Category Pages.
You just need to generate critical CSS for ONE WordPress Page URL and it will apply for all the WordPress Pages
You just need to generate critical CSS for ONE Archive Page URL and it will apply for all the Archive Pages
Please make sure you read carefully the documentation and do-follow like we said on the documentation to get it works
