The changes we make cannot be documented because it is not one file. A partial update would break for sure the code.
The recommended solution is to separate the changes done in child theme and then update the theme and core plugin.
The changes done (i do not know what they are) but they would have to be re-tested after update to be sure the parent files did not change. If they did, a review of the modifications may be needed.

Is it possible to set fixed dates for weekly rentals? So for example, rental is only possible from friday to friday.
So users are only able to select 7+ days rental starting on fridays. But less then 7 day rental is possible on every day.
This feature is a must for me before I can buy the theme. Would it be (easily) possible with some custom code?

You can set turn over days for check-in and check-out, but we do not use price per week or day.
So price is per day.
You set the turn-over day for friday for both check-in and check-out
User can only book from friday – to friday (7d or 14 or 21 etc and price is still calculated by price per night * no of days selected
So you cannot book for 1 day or 7 days if you activate the turn over day.
You can only book for 7, 14, 21 etc

Hi, 1- Any plans to add a CRM? it can be as simple as the one that RealHomes or Houzez have.
2- Any plans to add statistics? again, like the one offered by RealHomes and Houzez?
3- Any newsletter integration? like MailChimp
4- Does the theme offer a feature to sell tours or other experiences? (like Airbnb does). This would add a lot of value to the theme, as it will allow website owners to sell more products and diversify income.
If none of these features are available, please add them as suggestions for future releases. They will make choosing your theme versus the two others a very obvious choice.

Hi, Thank you for the comment. We have CRM and Statistics in our theme that is in the same Category as Real Homes and Houzez, but it is not Rentals, it is Residence.
For Rentals CRM was not asked before. Clients receive bookings and confirm bookings using the entire booking solution we have in the theme.
What we have in Residence as overview and have in Rentals too https://prnt.sc/1u6v8ny And it tracks the most important activity in the owner account.
Airbnb experiences is a different theme all together.We researched the topic and we know what is involved. It needs a different booking platform, different search and different submit. We have not made any plans for such an extension at the moment
Mailchimp form can be added as shortcode in any page.

Hello, Thank you for buying the theme. 504 Gateway Timeout is usually a disconnect from server end. Memory is not the only server limit that can create this. There are other details like server execution time for example. In general with such limits repeating import allows full import to go through.

Hi, I am trying to create an account with your support system, but it’s not working… We are seeing a bug or code conflict on iOS for scrolling, where it sticks and doesn’t allow mobile users to scroll. About the question, I was not able to see this in any demo using the mobile device. From online information, the behavior is css related. But if it were a theme css, it would have happened on our demos too.

And in this example we show how to change dropdown with incremental value. This may help solve your question with a different kind of custom code but you still need some technical knowledge to implement the change.

Hi, transfer to vendor is not possible. Only admin can take the deposit and if you wish to get a service fee you need to set deposit value and service fee value equal. Service fee deducts from total booking value.

Good day. I purchased a license a loong time ago. Is it possible to configure WPrentals to support more than one category on the same setup(website) like Apartments (daily,weekly,monthly), Boats(per hour), Bicycle (per hour, daily), Water scooter(per hour) etc.
Hi eirikv, Thank you for writing. I hope you are well. I understand you ask about a directory style booking solution but the general booking options are still only by day/night or by hour. You can have the mixt booking option enabled and select one or another for a listing.
We do not do price per week or month, only price per day for longer periods booked.

Hi Patrick, the link is part of the calendar and only for property owner can manage calendar. There is no CSS. Admin can use User switching plugin to login as any owner can check the property edit settings (all of them) if needed.

Oh wow great, so with the plugin the admin can switch as the user.
So if the admin switches as the user the admin will be able to see the users icalender link.
I’ve used icalender links before on booking and airbnb etc, but it is cool if the admin can switch so as to access the user’s icalender link or update any setting necessary.
Btw, I also wanted to ask, cause I noticed the theme doesn’t have a place for the user/property owner to put in his bank information etc, do you have any tips on how bank information for rental payouts can be collected for each user/property owner?
Hi, You can switch users with such plugins.
The theme does not cover payment to owner. So payouts are not available in the theme I am afraid.
The payments the theme supports go exclusively to site admin account (deposit, paying remaining balance for a booking OR submit listing with paid submission or submit listings with membership based submissions). All these payment solutions transfer the money directly into the site admin account.

hi, I mean the automatic synchronization between booking.com and the template, for example, if someone book on booking.com a week, automatically on the web with wp rentals the calendar is synchronized and is reserved the same days, the same if done the other way around.
Hi, Ical does automatic syncronization for the calendar.
You get the ical which you have to copy from booking and paste into wprentals – edit listing – calendar setting (ical field)
You save the ical feed into wperntals
Then every 3 hours the theme checks the ical feed and if they are new dates booked in booking, they show in the ical feed. The theme syncs the new booking into wprentals listing calendar

The theme has the option to set a specific turn-over day, and you can allow only bookings starting with the check in on a specific day of the week OR Allow only bookings with the check in/check out on a specific day of the week.

Separate Users on Registration Problem
Hi there – I’m trying to add marketing automation to WP Rentals for a client. In the theme settings, there is the following option:
“Separate users on registration. There will be 2 user types: who can only book and who can rent & book.”
I’m trying to add users who can book AND users can rent and book to HubSpot and to ActiveCampaign using Zapier – however, I can’t see the user-type field in Zapier.
What is the best way for me to get this field/hook into Zapier so I can separate the different types of users?

I do not know how Zapier can import this to be able to assist with any direction since we are not familiar with how Zapier works and their documentation.
