1. Yes, many users of WPLMS are using WPLMS plugins with other themes like Divi, Astra, Avada, Kadence, Generatepress etc.

p.s : While building courses use the WPLMS’s inbuilt Education Editor rather than page builders as we are adding support to export Courses created in WPLMS into SCORM or xAPI packages playable in any LMS in upcoming updates.

Support, I need more clarity

1. But the theme I’m using does not have a react frontend. How will adapt the styling for becoming headless? Is there any need for wpgrapql and any work needed for re-mapping and regenerating the styling for the WPLMS page?

Some advice:

This sort of application needs more hands-on support from an actual developer, who knows react and understands WPLMS. Otherwise, it becomes hard to maintain for less savvy users. Your limited support gets bug down from all the requests given this new technology. I’ve seen client’s WPLMS sites unfinished or thinks un-fixed due to this reason. For example, I saw a ticket here for a site loading an English course for months.

This is not to say your support is not awesome as it is, but it’s unrealistic for you to give each client the sort of attention needed to maintain these types of applications.

This is partly why we haven’t made the leap thus far. You must have seen this by now and if not address it will affect your retention rates. Because you’ve moved, from a somewhat familiar technology(WP/Monolith) to something more complex as WP de-coupled architecture. Even with WordPress alone, it’s a huge task to tackle.

That said, do you work with or have third-party integration partners we can use, one that provides ongoing one-on-one support? I’ve asked this question so many times, and it seems to not register its importance to you. We want to start using your solution for several schools, but you are failing to address this problem. The one problem that will affect retention rates for us, is handled blindly by you. Please find a solution for us.

P.S to other users or clients of WPLMS who are reading this, I must say you won’t find a better solution or support out there at this price point. So It’s just unrealistic in my view for them to give the kind of attention needed to each client of theirs running a full-fledge production-level system.

Yes, only the PWA is in reactJs mode. All your static pages and design elements can be built in any page builder from Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, Oxygen, Thrivebuilder etc. The rest of the site can be static and 100% cached, only the LMS part which needs to do bulk processing is convert to PWA. With WordPress every process is run on server, makes sites vulnerable and slow.
We are not using WPGraphQL at the moment everything is done via REST API. I understand the concern,
Why we shifted to new technology :
1. To shift bulk of processing from Server to Browser. We have some huge high ranking sites and WordPress as a monolith structure can only support upto a limit. The new structure provides easier scalable options.

3. Future Ready, we are going to integrate Adaptive Learning courses, AI units and many more features which were impossible in previous WPLMS version.
4. Currently, we do not have third party support providers, although we have several develoeprs who interact and work with us and have enough customisation experience which we can recommend.
5. WPLMS is adding the most wanted feature “Course Exportability” You create course in WPLMS and you can run in any LMS. Course Authoring tools are way too expensive and even Moodle does not have this. But as Instructors put their heart and soul in creating courses this should be the most wanted feature of any LMS platform.
The flexibility of WordPress is still there, everything is done by hooks and filters, from customisation options like creating custom fields in Course editor to adding custom information in Course/instructor pages is still there.

Support, thank you for providing the list of third party integrator. That aside I’d like to know how far out are you from releasing the video editor, and if its possible to setup the Earnings add-on to payout via wallet(as a transfer) by replacing the PayPal button option to show Wallet Payout/Transfer button instead. We plan on using Woowallet (Terawallet) or WebKul’s wallets and would rather have this button redirect to admin area on front end for managing courses…. Can this be done with either of the above mentioned wallets since they both have front-end user management?

The Recorder is ready, we have not seen any other requests for it, so it is not released. If you need a demo, we can share with you. We can do the customisation for you if you need it, however you do not need front end user management as you get the PWA in WPLMS.

As for the customization definitely as long as the admin can assign special roles to manage Wallet Transfer/Payouts from Front-end not WordPress back-end. Is this possible already with PWA.

another question I forgot to ask was if it’s possible to access the phone’s camera from the PWA app to record the courses and take still pictures as well for upload into WPMLS. Also is it possible to save WPLMS app data (encrypted) on SD cards in the event user runs out of storage on phone?

Yes, the video playback as a playlist was originally planned but we retracted it because the encryption of videos does not guarantee user will not screen-record. We are now working on adding dynamic video frames during playback with user name printed in video at various intervals & locations for better protection.
