Thanks for your understand.

The Porto Live Search function currently also lists products that are hidden from the catalog (and catalog search). This results in a 404 when clicking the product in the live search. Is this intended?

Hello, @YALEMY,

Porto Live search will always shows all the results whether it is hidden or not, this is the default functionality of the live search and unfortunately there is no option to hide from search result the hidden products as well, so this requires Customization.

Regards, P-THEMES.

For anyone interested how to fix this, inside /porto/inc/lib/live-search/live-search.php, wrap the following if-statement around the $result[] on line 80.

if($product->get_catalog_visibility() == ‘visible’) { }

There’s no reason to show hidden products in this search, as its only causing confusion.

Hello, @YALEMY,

Sound’s Good!!! That you have managed to solve your issue, you are the best :)
And thanks for sharing the solution/your experience here with others, hope this will help other peoples as well having the same issue.

Regards, P-THEMES.

elementor is a paid tool would we able to use all features if i install demo using elemntor ?

Hello, @sdjewels,

You can edit/modify/remove/add the elements on the particular Demo with Elementor page builder that comes with the theme package.

You can always get the latest updates of the Premium plugins with the Theme update in the Theme Package.

And there is no need to activate or purchase a new license for this plugin. This plugin is already included in the theme package and already purchased the license by P-Themes. This activation message for those who want to update the plugin directly from their website. In our case, you can receive the updated plugin always with the theme update release.

So no need to activate it, just ignore the message and feel free to use it.

You can not use the library/template of any Premium plugin including in any Theme Package, If you want to use the premium plugin library/template then you have to purchase that particular plugin license separately, this is Envato policy you may wish to confirm from them as well.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 06/03/2017. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Hello, @sdjewels,

I am really sorry but our theme works on shared hosting as well but those settings must have been set as I listed above, if your hosting provider does not want to change it for you then you can purchase any other hosting which provides this functionality and it will work for you, there is no other way.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 06/03/2017. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Thanks for your understand.

Can you please suggest from where I purchase hosting so your theme work ?

Hello, @sdjewels,

You can go with any one which provides permission to change the values accordingly…

Hello, I can’t update Porto Functionality from 2.1.6 to 2.2.0. The process starts as usual, update, then it is written that everything has been successfully updated and offers to return to the page with plugins, but when I go there it says that version 2.1.6 is still installed and 2.2.0 is available. What could be the problem?

Hello, @max_z1,

Really sorry for the inconvenience, and please be patience, our latest theme update (6.2.0) was not completed, and it was our mistake and we have removed it from ThemeForest as well, so the latest version is 6.1.8 for now: https://themeforest.net/item/porto-responsive-wordpress-ecommerce-theme/9207399#item-description__change_logs do not need to update the theme, for now, stay on which you are, and stay tuned, we are working on the new Theme update and soon we will release on ThemeForest again… we need your collaboration on this with patience. Thanks for your understanding.

Please Login to your site and simply activate the Porto Functionality plugin, Otherwise, if you still face the issue then please contact us via our support system with your site WP-Admin Login details, we will downgrade the theme version for you on your site.

Regards, P-THEMES.

Hello, is it possible to update Porto Functionality to version 2.2.0 already? And another question, in what order is it better to update, the main Porto theme (up to version 6.2.0) then Porto Functionality (up to version 2.2.0), or vice versa?

Hello, @max_z1,

We have just released another theme update now: https://pasteboard.co/lItJCxeHqfUy.png and we have solved all issue with it, please download the theme files again and reupdate the theme again now on your site by following this article: https://ptheme.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020667197--24-Update-Porto-Theme-Manually-without-Loosing-any-Data- I am sure you will not finds this issue anymore.

And first you have to update the Theme and then you have to update the plugin.

Regards, P-THEMES.

In some mobile devices, it happens to me that the page does not reach the end at all, it leaves me a white stripe. How can I solve it? I am trying to use custom CSS but cannot solve the problem. Any solution?

Hello, @jsolas5,

Can you please share the URL of your site and the screenshot of the issue so that I’ll check and help you out in solving your issue.

Regards, P-THEMES.

Plugin not activated. A higher version of Porto Functionality is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.

i got this error

Hello, @azibbe,

Please make sure that you have updated the Theme to the very latest version and after that you have to go to Porto >> Dashboard and deactivate the theme from there and then again activate the theme with same purchase code and then try to update the plugin from Appearance >> Install Plugins, hope this will solve your issue and if not then please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so that we will check it for you on your site and help you out in solving your issue.

Hello. I returned to my project. I recently wrote to support but it didn’t work.

My problem is that the single product page does not show me add to cart but view cart. How can I solve this? I don’t use any plugin to change buttons, change links or anything like that. I updated the theme, I also tried to turn off all plugins and turn it on gradually, but that didn’t help either. even when I turn them all off. I also tried to create my own report via template builder but it doesn’t work there either when I add add_cart_button. it always shows the view cart. link: https://bonimcoins.com/product/gold-medal-10-dukat-1626-albrecht-von-wallenstein-replica-coin-in-museum-quality-hand-minted-coin/

Hello, @Rik_plays,

That is because you have hidden the Add to Cart button using Custom CSS as showing in this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/KRhkVsSk and that particular CSS are coming from Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS, so you have to finds and remove that Custom CSS and it will solve your issue.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 28/05/2020. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Thanks for your understand.

Hello. I tried this recently to hide it but I don’t understand where the second view cart button is taken there ?? what is he doing there?

Hello, @Rik_plays,

That is the default design of the Theme and we have added that button to the design of the theme with our last updates of the theme, so if you want to remove it you can use Custom CSS easily.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 28/05/2020. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Hi,

Product slider not working after update. I would be glad if you help.

https://prnt.sc/1twu7z6 https://prnt.sc/1twui1s

Hello, @rtrmax,

This seems to be because of the Revolution Slider plugin setting, please make sure ”Defer Javascript Loading” & ”Load Files asynchronously” under WP Admin -> Slider Revolution -> Global Settings is OFF

Regards, P-THEMES.

Hello,

I turned off the settings but nothing changed.

https://prnt.sc/1ty14ai https://prnt.sc/1ty1amx

Hello, @rtrmax,

It is working fine for me, so please purchase the support extension and then contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so that we will check it for you on your site.

Regards, P-THEMES.

After installing this theme, the slider revolution plugin is saying it’s not activated. The site is activated with the key provided after purchase. Does this only include the plugin, but not its features like the templates and so on?

Hello, @projekt8e,

You can always get the latest updates of the Premium plugins with the Theme update in the Theme Package.

And there is no need to activate or purchase a new license for this plugin. This plugin is already included in the theme package and already purchased the license by P-Themes. Leaving a comment for other folks looking to use this theme for Wordpress Multisite – PThemes now requires you to have a license per WordPress site in the Multisite installation, rather than per domain as it said in previous comments. This means that if you are running a Wordpress Multisite installation with sites in subdirectories, you are going to need a license per directory.

Hello, @bugwood,

Yes, you are absolutely right, thanks for sharing your thoughts here, It is already explained in our announcement: https://ptheme.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404831432337-Announcement-for-Porto-WordPress-purchased-Clients-regarding-License-Reset-

Hello,

1. What is the Font Head Tag for TITLE of the Product on Single product page. Is it H2 or H1 (Seems H2 to me)

2. From where shall I change the Font Family type, size, colors for the Title of the Product on the Single Product page as well as on the Shop Page 3. I tried changing the Font type from Appearance > Theme options > Typography.. but unfortunately it only updates the Font under Short Description and Main Description (for H2, H3..)

However, it is not updating or changing the Font type for the Title of the Product on the Single product page.
No matter, whether I Edit H2 or H3 from Theme options > Typography..

Am I doing the wrong way.

Regards

Hello, @ShwetaHAG,

1- The product heading tag for a single product page is H2.

2- You can change the Font Family of the Product Title only from Theme Options >> Typography >> H2. After that follow the article below and completely remove cache from your site and server and check you will find no issue at all. https://ptheme.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020799098--35-Unable-to-change-color-settings-or-Setting-from-Theme-Options-Cache-Problem

And for further changes like line-height, color, font size, etc, you have to use Custom CSS, because for the product title those values have been overridden using theme core files, so please copy and paste the below-given CSS code to Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and change the values in the given code as per your requirements.

.single-product .product_title {
    font-size: 1.875rem !important;
    line-height: 1.2 !important;
    color: #222529 !important;
    letter-spacing: -0.01em !important;
    font-weight: 700 !important;
    margin-bottom: 0.2em !important;
}

Regards, P-THEMES.

Hello

2. After using Custom CSS, it started reflecting correctly
Thanks :)

One thing-
What code should I replace with to use the “px” (pixels) for font size CSS code, instead of rem (that is instead of this – font-size: 1.875rem, what shall I use)
I felt more comfortable with px, and can even remember too, easily

And what CSS code will work for Font Style (if I want to change to Italic, Thin, Bold or any other)

PS: I found that changing the Font Family for product Title was Not working from the Theme options > Typo > H2, on the Single product page.

It never changes or reflects correctly, even after flushing or clearing the Cache.
( However, it is working on other areas, and in the Short description area too, on the same product page)
But surprisingly, changing the Font Family (from the Theme options) only started showing a update and reflecting correctly, when I add and use the above Custom CSS code (that you shared), and as suggested.
Not sure, why so.

This info, is just an input for you to take a look into that. I am sure you will also replicate the same issue at your end, and hope you will fix this at your end, in next update

Regards

Hello, @ShwetaHAG,

You can simply remove the rem code and add the px code like below:

font-size: 15px !important;

For bold, you can use the below given CSS code and it has the values as (100,200,300,400,500,600,700,800,900)

font-weight: 700 !important;

For Italic Font, you can use the below-given CSS code

font-style: italic !important;

Now that must be the cache issue at your end nothing else, and for that, we have to check it on your site and for that, you have to contact us via our support system with your site WP-Admin Login details so that we will check it for you on your site.

Regards, P-THEMES.

Hi. First of all, I love this theme and my question here has good intentions. Since the first day I use this theme, i have problems with google page speed insights, so my site, dispite my work with SEO, does not have good position on SERPs because of application poor performance. My server is on google cloud with 8 cores and 32 gb of ram and all possible tweaks in nginx, php-fpm and mysql was made. Has you can see here: https://pasteboard.co/CIGGBt6O2sNR.png, even on your demo you do have same problem. Even on desktop enviorement you reach 86 points. Problems like render blocking, unused CSS and JS, Visible Text during web font load, passive listeners to improve scrolling, no explicit widht and height on images, minor JS payloads, Large DOMs, etc.. So my question here is, Do you have intention to solve this issues?

Hello, @arymaynart,

We are sorry that you faced some problems working with our theme. But our theme is one of the most optimized on the market. In general, our theme is already optimized and doesn’t have too many resources to make your website slow. Most likely, your website performance suffers from the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images, or other resources. So we suggest you remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache, or use WP Rocket for both tasks. Also, you can use the GTmetrix tool to see what makes your website slow and optimize these parts of your website.

First of all, we would like to tell you that Google very often scores with 20-40 points mobile performance for 99% of websites built with WordPress. To get more points you need to have a really light page. For example remove all sliders, carousels and leave a few banners and products only. Then you will get a high result. But usually, our theme works very fast on mobile devices and doesn’t have any problems with performance. We suggest you test it on a few mobile devices and you will see that there are no real performance problems. Google PageSpeed gives you recommendations on how to improve the performance of your website, but it does not actually measure the speed (aka loading time) of your website. If your site loads fast, you can safely ignore PageSpeed’s recommendations.

The traffic depends on a lot of different factors and not our theme only. The only argument from you was your website’s low score on Google Pagespeed. But it can’t be because of that if your real website speed is quite fast. We suggest you read an article from the WP Rocket team – one of the most experienced companies in terms of WordPress optimization.

https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/85-google-page-speed-grade-does-not-improve

Porto has optimized HTML, combined JS scripts, minified CSS, has style.css generator, conforms all the coding standards from WordPress (and it is checked and confirmed by Envato reviewers while uploading our theme to the market). We are always working on improving our theme’s speed and listen to all our customers’ reports. We release updates every 3-5 weeks so if any performance problems are reported they will be fixed asap.

We recently released some more new features related to the Speed of the site in our very latest update you can check under Porto >> Speed Optimization Wizard.

Other than that the Speed of the site requires Customization.

Regards, P-THEMES.

Hi, after the last port update I have a lot of problems. 1- The mobile menu has disappeared. 2- The sidebar in the blog is not positioned where it should. 3- Word press reports me a critical error here: wp-admin / admin.php? page = porto-page-layouts) and check if there is any visible problem.

Am I the only one with these problems?

Please resolve.

Hello, @Thompson1977,

There is no such issue in our theme, I have tested it at my end on my test site and it is working perfectly fine for me, please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so that we will check it for you on your site and help you out.
