Hello. When I try to use “Porto blog” element, button “Read More” not working correctly. It is linking not to post, but to current page. Title and picture links are correct.

It happens only with newly used elements. Links works correctly which is created longer time ago. Can you please check on your side? Maybe it is related to latest update?

We always liked this theme, and after a time testing another theme we are moving back to it. Sadly, we have to inform version 6.2 of Porto has serious issues. We upgraded from version 4.x of the theme to v6.2, and when performing this upgrade, all the header, footer and typography styles get lost, and it is impossible to save, restore or fix them from the admin, as it doesn’t save the settings. Reverting it to a previous version, like 6.1.4, makes the website works as expected. But that means we cannot get the latest updates or we are forced to stay in the previous site with the other theme and cannot swap to the site with Porto theme. We’ve seen this happening with other websites using Porto that are 2 or 3 years old at least, when upgrading to 6.2.0 the settings no longer work and some of them don’t get preserved when saving the settings; headers, footer and typography never load in the websites, also.

Please deactivate all the third-party plugins and also remove your Customization if you added in Parent Theme, and then update the theme to the latest version and after that update, the theme required/recommended plugins as well and then please go to Porto >> Tools and Clear “Plugin transients”, “Studio Block transients”, “Compile all CSS”, “Refresh templates information”, “Refresh Templates’ display conditions” and finally check back your site after removing the browser cache.

Hello, I have installed porto and everything was working fine till last update: now home page is boxed not stretched as it was, some boxes have lost their CCS configuration. i tried to reset cache even removed plugin but still facing same issue :( any advice or should i start things from the ground up?

Porto is a more and more successful theme! And i just realized something new… when i log into my back office and go to look at examples of Porto elements on themeforest it has WPBakery or Elementor buttons. When I click on it it marks “copied” ... What are they for ? Can we copy sample items? How to import them then in a page?

Yeah, that Copied the shortcode of that particular element with that particular page builder, you just have to paste that shortcode in your page and it will work for you directly as working on the Shortcode Elements page.

Thanks for sharing the suggestion/feature request with us, I am forwarding this to our development department for considering to add it in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

I am using the Child theme. Hence, wanted to know –

1. Where to use the Watsapp (Number issue in Header n Footer) related code in the Child theme. In order for the Code to retain unaffected during any Theme update.

2. Do I need to use the Code logging into the Admin Panel then from Appearance > Theme Editor > Functions.php file for Header.
If so, how

Hello, after updating Porto theme to 6.2.0 (from 6.1.8, if I’m not mistaken) and Porto Functionality to version 2.2.0 (from 2.1.8), my site layout completely broke, the footer disappeared, all colors, links and buttons changed their style, I have no idea how it happened, but what should I do?!? Is it possible to somehow return to the previous version and return everything as it was?

We updated bootstrap to 5 from 4 through 6.2.0.

Bootstrap 5 updated row and column grid system using flex: 0 0 auto and width instead of flex: 0 0 %; width: % for columns.

If you have any style issues such as column width in the new version, please compile all CSS again using Porto -> Tools -> Compile CSS in the admin.

Yes I had to FIX this – support just went and added 21 theme and its removed all my settings!!!! Hes now telling me that I must put the side bar back? I had to put the menu correct because it had been disabled. I want all my settings how they were! How can the site just get broken and left like this? We just missed a R65,000 sale because of PORTO support – dont believe me please go check our order. This is all SUPPORTS fault.

Is there any way to stop the product slider auto play? We tried all possible ways like changing the option to false on page builder and even manually changed autoplay: false in woocommerce-theme.js, but nothing seems help.

The second trick worked on desktop but still in mobile autoplay is on. Did the common tricks like cleared the history of browser, used different browser and installed and tried in a new browser. All results same.

Any help or suggestion will be highly appreciable.

Hi there, since I updated the theme to the latest version I started to experience a lot of page layout errors. I recently had to fix my header design and layout because it was all mess-up and today I discovered that also my footer is broken. I was very satisfied with the default footer from the Shop 6 demo but now I can’t put it back the way that it was. Is there any preset or template or any option to put it back? I’ve been trying for hours and nothing happen. Templates are good but the layout or block not working at all.
