2.5.03 messed up the look/feel of 4 of my websites running Uncode. Just a heads up. It changed nav bar options, accent color options, etc.
Just a warning for anyone looking to update today (Nov 16).
UPDATE: 2 are now fine but the other 2 end up in a cycle where it acts like the update didn’t install and it won’t actually go through. (But it did initially go through enough to change some settings. I think the lock of being able to update the Uncode Core is the problem.)
Hello, sorry for the problem and thanks for the head-sup, however if the update it’s gone fine for some sites and not for others I can only assume it’s a CDN distribution issue which unfortunately we can’t control, or perhaps some server or network glitch. As far as we can check, on our end the files are all correctly updated, but we continue to monitor this to be sure. Thank you very much.

Hi, it seems that Accordion elements has a strange behavior scolling items when opening some sections. As you can se here https://www.picadillo.it/menu-platos-2 , when you open “Platos especiales” having “Antojitos” already opened it not scrolls to the first element. Same thing happens when opening “Tacos”.

Hi, i’ve a problem with the showing of the media library thumbnails: when I work in backend with builder and Media Gallery block, the media library thumbnails are not shown. We are sorry but we don’t have other users reporting this issue, if this was an issue of Uncode here you should read tons of similar comments, you should ask your server why you have this error.

I have already contacted my hosting: they said it’s not a server problem and think the error is caused by a large number of php and cgi scripts running concurrently. But the site in question is very light and there are very few images loaded in the media library. The problem occurs just when I open the media library in the builder. Hi oikosarea! Yes, I understand, but it’s not something we can debug here, since as I explained, it happens due to some limitation of your host, and it’s an error related to server limits. If it were a common Uncode error, it would have already been fixed and replicable on all installations. If you need to add items and you’re stuck, from here I can only suggest as a workaround to enter them manually, copying the ID and putting in the shortocode:

I say partly because the fix works on all browsers (Safari, Firefox & Opera), but it unfortunately does not on Chrome for some reasons, which is the most used browser.
Abut the Facebook issue, the issue is across all browser and not just Safari. I’ll try contacting my host support anyway.

I understand, and I can imagine how many of such requests you might be getting but like anyone sadly else I do not have any one else to ask as I am doing everything myself.
Also, as you may understand, I never really made my site public before few months ago, which is when I faced these issues and unfortunately my support was linked to the day of the theme purchase and not when I began using the theme or make my site public. So my ‘support’ has unfortunately expired as you may understand.
I do not really have any issues at all with the theme except these tiny details. If you are willing to just provide some guidance like you did before, may I please email you my site url to check and the tiny issue that I am facing? Maybe you could just guide me?

i have just noticed that the images for the yoast image sitemaps are not passed over to yoast at original size, which means thumbnail sizes are showing up in the final sitemap. not sure if this has always been the case, but i don’t think so, as i have been inspecting sitemaps closely. changeing line 88 of class-uncode-yoast.php to ‘full’ instead of ‘large’ did the trick, but i cannot override the file in my child theme. not a coder, so i have no idea of any other implications of that change… would be great if you could implement that though. thanks a lot!

I think 2.5.0 has an issue with displaying Text Block with Dynamic Text. In the previous version the text was placed inside of a paragraph tag, it’s now sitting directly under div. The result is there’s no paragraphs displayed with this function.

after the last update, numerous theme options are no longer available. The new demos are displayed incorrectly. A number of pages such as maintenance mode or comming soon will only appear as a white page. I had cleared the cache. Sorry folks, I’ve been with themeforest for 10 years and have bought over 150 themes, but this theme kills me. Can’t open a ticket anymore and would have to buy a new license again. Sorry , I’m tired.

Version 2.5.0 has been tested by all Uncode Beta Testers for several weeks and no one has never reported issues like yours, moreover now there are hundreds of users who have installed 2.5.0 and no one has found any problem. Could the issue be related to extra plugins or changes you have in the Child Theme? Could you share any link maybe to make our understanding easier? Thank you, best

after i updated to 2.5.0.1 my theme options don’t show anymore. i can access the theme options page but any detail entry is empty. i have looked into it with the developer tools of safari and the layers which are holding the options are hidden. i can remove the “hidden” class and the options show up. how can that be fixed?

I have done all of that. The theme version is the 2.5.0.1, the most recent one, I believe. There are no other updates. WordPress version is 5.8.1 You can see for yourself: http://marcelor18.sg-host.com/ If I’m logged in to the wp-admin, it works fine. It only happens when I’m not.

Anyway, we see that you have some kind of cache or compression plugin that modify all the codes, please deactivate all extra plugins since cache plugins works only on the frontend as the issue you have.

The Content Slider is perfectly responsive on mobile since all the Carousel Sliders you see in our demo are based on this module (ex: https://undsgn.com/uncode/homepages/classic-agency/). The point is that it’s not supposed to work the way you expect since it’s not designed to follow the background image ratio, and this is pretty normal, please find more info here: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/213459809

Uncode follows web-design best practises and the contents are always visible (the Heading are readable, the button clickable, etc).
The only solution you have is to recreate this slider with Slider Revolution that is packed with Uncode. This plugin has an option to scale everything on mobile, please note that later your Headings will become really small and your buttons almost non-clickable, ex: https://undsgn.d.pr/9Tiq0V

Did you tested in Incognito Mode? Did you deactivated extra plugins? Do you have Rocket Loader from Cloudflare?

If this happens only on some pages try to copy one of these pages and try to remove one elements at time to see if it’s something particular, otherwise we need to check this privately.

Hi, I just made an update to version 2.5.0, system is offering me an update to version 2.5.1 and when I try to update nothing is happening. 2.5.0 version have a minor issue with content block, Font sizes on the homepage slider are not displayed as they should be. Hopefully this will be fixed with the new update.

First of all I want to bring to your attention that there is some bug on the theme website, people can’t see the available demos (https://prnt.sc/1yqfwph). I assume it can have a big impact on your sales, so it’s a good idea to fix it as soon as possible.
Also, I have a small question: If I choose “Mobile Sticky menu” the menu in mobile opens full height, according to the screen’s size. I don’t really like how it looks like, is there a possibility to limit the height of the opening menu? Maybe with some CSS? Unfortunately I can’t find a solution for that.

No unfortunately this is necessary to have the sticky and there is currently no easy way to change it with CSS, in case you have to use the uncentered mobile menu (the old style).
You can see in the screenshot that there is nothing in the demos section, it’s just empty.``Here is another screenshot of the issue: https://prnt.sc/1yqjnpj. I also tried to enter the website in Incognito mode, both in Chrome and Safari browsers, but it still doesn’t work.
I checked it in both “Default” and “Enhanced” but the menu acts the same way. It should work on one of these options? If yes let me know which option I should choose and I will take a deep look into that.
