I have a current live WPLMS site (ver 3.9.9) that i would like to update to 4.1, however, i would like to run a backup copy (offline, not accessable to students) to update to 4.1 and then switch the sites over. Does the licence allow this?

Regarding your must needed “Video Recorder” Add-on, could we achieve the following:
1) VIDEO Q&A MESSAGES. Video Q&A messages system allowing teachers and students exchange inside the courses video and audio messages. Would that be possible?
2.1) VIDEO Q&A MESSAGES: UPVOTE FEATURE We need that feature because some of our classes could have too many students asking questions and the teachers will only reply to a few questions with most of the votes.
Or can you adapt this plugin to have the Upvoting feature working with WPLMS Video Recorder?

We need the following:
1) The students ask inside the units using text, video or audio.
1.1) When using video or audio there is a countdown timer before start recording (check videoask.com)
1.2) Before the student make the questions have 3 buttons to choose: Video, Audio, Text (check videoask.com)
1.3) Also have a title like: “What would you like to ask to [name of the teacher]”
1.4) Have the option to have thumbnails with a title for the videos (check videoask.com)
1.5) Have the option to have a countdown timer to limit the lengh of the recording to avoid having issues with storage. (check videoask.com)
2) The videos and audios are uploaded to Vimeo, Amazon S3 or similar service
3) The teacher receives a notification via email when there is a question (hopefully using your integration with Groundhogg Plugin, please !)
3.1) The students receives a notification via email when there is a reply from the teacher (hopefully using your integration with Groundhogg Plugin, please !)
4) We would have dozen or hundred of questions from many students.
5) The students start to vote on the best questions and those with more votes will be sorted at the top.
6) The teacher will chose the top questions and reply via video using the “WPLMS Video Recorder”.
7) The students are notified when the teacher reply to the questions via video.
8 ) Use WPLMS Video Recorder both inside the courses or on the website too for marketing purposes and to engage with potential students using AI conditional logic, multiple response options (video, audio, text, etc.) and contact forms..

Video Recorder will have limitations of the browser. For example : In Google chrome, my browser has memory of 500gb, in safari it is restricted to 50mb (which is the least). So there is already a check in place which stops the recorder from filling the space which is remaining the browser.

I can’t figure out how to update certain plugins via the wizard. 1. After entering Envato account info I get Update Active. Click to confirm, the page refreshes and nothing happens. If I go to Plugins and attempt to update a plugin I get “Update failed: The plugin is at the latest version.” When viewing the dashboard I see that updates are needed for Vibe Zoom ver1.7.1, VibeBP ver1.6.0, WPLMS ver1.5.2.1. Can someone direct me on where to download these files to perform a manual update?

my problem : (1) messages show math equation problems. admin account does not log in with the app. It only shows loading. (2) image no 2 is shows the logo and sign/register with mobile is not shown fully means the behind of this image has a scroll left or right. First let me start with a positive statement: I have been using this theme for past 4 years (Well almost). I am very happy with it.
1. Widgets are not appearing on Student Dashboard. When tried at appearance->Widgets in main menu, it throws many errors. 2. H5P Videos are not visible in the courses. Please just create a topic on wplms.io/support and share link here, some of the issues are warning and some of the issues could be tested to Php version. We’ve tested upto Php 8.0.8 the slowness issue gets resolved I. The upcoming vibebp update.
After Upgrading to PHP Version to 8, there is an improvement in the speed. Rest of the Problem still remains

1. Self hosting is good if you do not have huge videos. We are working on a solution suitable for pwa as we can create workers and process videos right in the browser. YouTube private videos can not be displayed on site. Vimeo on the other hand has private domain locked videos and is better suitable. We have video vibe addon where all instructors will upload videos to your Vimeo account and privacy setting will restrict them from viewing other instructor videos
2. Wplms uses more browser ans less server as PWA takes bulk load off from your server any good VPS hosting is suitable.
We plan to use the temple to create surveys in schools but also to write blogs for students, etc. But the most important are surveys.

1. Yes , you can add a numeric value to each question. However, the question can either be correct, incorrect or partially correct.
2. We also have a “forms” plugin which can be sent to entire class to answer, the forms essentially store information.
3. Using the Forms addon it is possible yes. Let me know if you need me to share a short video on the forms.

User Guided Tours for 4.0
When I access VibeBP All Tours, I can see nothing in the list but it shows that there are 29 published. Is there any way to fix this?
Please can you advise when the User Guided Tours feature will be released – it was promised 3 months ago.

The WPLMS version 4 is a game changer that it gives your courses content protection as we add the feature “Exportable Courses” which allow you to take export of course and run in any LMS platform.
Right now we are using WPLMSVersion: 3.9.7 but we are going to buy the template again (because the developer who made it did not leave a license to update it) and we are going to update it. Do you think we will have a problem updating? What I’m interested in knowing is if I can use demo content, already having older content on my website. You can purchase the theme and simply post a request on wplms.io/support for upgrade help. We will help you with the upgrade. With 4.1 update, you really do not have to change much. We do really recommend switching to 4.x series as there are a lot of improvements.
