Hi,
I purchased this theme many years back, so I’m out of support, but just need a couple of questions answered if that’s ok.
1. I would to use elementor instead of wpbakery. I know I would have to redo the website that is current got the wpbakery version, can I move it to a subdomain and do a fresh install at the root domain with the current license, or would I need to buy another? I need to see the old version so I can make it look similar.
2. I also plan to buy elementor pro and install that rather than the free version the theme comes with. Will the theme still work with pro, as I wants to add some additional widgets that come with the pro version?

1. You can import an Elementor demo, if you wish to use it on a subdomain for development purpose you are more than welcome to send us a mail to our help center providing your purchase code in it and our team will help you.
2. The theme is compatible with the free version of the Elementor plugin which is more than enough to achieve anything you do see on our demo website. The Elementor Pro widgets are compatible. You could get access to Elementor Pro widgets for sure using the Pro version of the plugin, it is just a matter of the custom header and footer feature that you will need to make some minor adjustments and you can get help from our support team with that. Otherwise than that you should know that our theme does have a variety of options that you can use to build your website.

Are you sure I’ll get help by emailing the help centre, as my six month support ran out years ago? This is in relation to the purchase code part you mentioned to have a temp copy of my wpbakery version on a subdomain to be able to view to ensure the elementor version at the root level looks similar.
Also in relation with support to the tweaks to the custom header and footer with elementor pro?
I’m happy to buy six months support extension if needed.

Hi! We have installed the latest Elementor version of the theme and imported the demo data. When visiting Appearance—> Widgets the widgets take quite a long time to load and some times load with errors, probably due to the large number of widget areas we have not created and probably were imported with the demo data. Is there a way to remove demo widget areas (Bridge Business Preview, Bridge Agency Preview and lots more) to finally be able to setup widgets properly? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I moved Bridge from one domain to another. I re-applied a Typekit font – first in the normal header.php but it wasn’t working so I used the Header/Footer plugin. When I input CSS in Qode Options, nothing happens; when I apply it in page specific CSS, it works. Starting to feel a little exasperated… something in Options is obviously overriding it but I can’t figure out what. Can you please help? I don’t want to renew support for something that was working fine before. Thank you.

We do have our own options for Header and Footer within Qode Options, as well as the widget areas can be found in Appearance > Widgets.

Running theme v25.8 and I am trying to upgrade to latest version which changelog says code registration is required for the site to work properly. However, when I enter in my purchase code it does not register. When I goto the Qode help center to submit a request, it tells me my code is invalid. I understand my support expired but I should still be able to register the code to update the theme. Please advise.

I tried to update the theme on a client website and it made a REAL MESS of everything. I am wondering HOW can I do a THEME UPDATE without DESTROYING the site? I see that the support for this expired. If I renew, is this something YOU take care of?

Hi! Im using Blog – Small image blog layout.
In the posts in the blog, the title is doubled – one on top, before the image, and one below the image.
Im trying to delete the second title, below the image (class: entry_title) but It doesnt seem to work. What CSS Code shall I use?

We cannot give you an exact recommendation regarding some 3rd party membership plugin as we haven’t tested such plugins with the Bridge theme and we cannot guarantee it’s 100% functionality.

Bridge theme is compatible with WooCommerce, and if you install WooCommerce on demos that didn’t come with shop demo, some options like the first main color will apply, however, you’ll be able to customize the appearance of the shop via theme options.

I have update my theme and now I get blank screen. All plugins and WP is latest version. When I debug it, it shows this issue:

We couldn’t reproduce this on our local installation.
When updating theme and bundled plugins please follow instructions from this article – How To Update The Bridge WordPress Theme And Bundled Plugins.
After you update theme all of the bundled plugins with available update should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.
Also, in case that you are using cache plugin, please deactivate it. It’s recommended that cache plugin stays during theme update.

I know how to update a theme! And dont tell me to contact support as you know my support has expired, and I dont think its fair to renew support when your updates break my site.

Have you perhaps made some custom modification to header.php file inside the child theme as we see that the error is generated by this file? Just bought a license.
I have found that if I increase the height of the header, then the logo increases with it.
This means there is no increase to the top and bottom padding for the logo.
Is there a solution to this ?

You can save logo image with transparent space on top and bottom as shown in screenshot. So basically the logo image needs to be actual size with it’s own padding already designed within the original image.

As mentioned in documentation, to make your logos retina ready and have them preserve their original aspect ratio, we advise that your logo images are uploaded at two times the height of the header. Meaning if the header is 150 pixels in height, it would require a logo that’s 300 pixels high.
