Hi, than you for all the good work, it has worked very well for me. I have translated all strings with loco translator and it worked perfectly. In the single listing page I can not find were to translate the “Show all images” text. can you please help me find it? thanks

Hello, I have updated the Wordpress CMS, your theme and all the related plugins and no more images are loaded in the Listings gallery … Why? how do i solve?

PHP 7.4 it fully supported, I don’t think that is the issue. I would check for errors in your console and try disabling any 3rd party plugins you may have added. I just searched our support tickets and don’t have any other reports of this happening. If the above suggestions do not resolve the issue, please renew your support and open a Support Ticket including temporary login details for FTP and wp-admin so we can debug the issue for you. We just figured out the problem. It does not accept images exceeding 1MB in size. If instead the weight of the image is under 1MB, it adds it. How do you fix this version in your template?

I am trying to submit the contact form on my website, but it is stating there is a recaptcha error. The theme was just updated to its most recent version. What could be the issue?

Where can I find the Listing Options menu?

This contact form was working perfectly fine for years, so I don’t understand how it just stops working.

You can find the Listing Options in the left side of your WordPress wp-admin panel. If you don’t see it, make sure your Automotive Listings plugin is installed and activated. I’m not sure why it stopped working, but something definitely must have changed. I would recommend you review your error logs and discuss with your web host to see if anything changed on your web server around the time it stopped working.

Suggestion: Can you add a feature to delete listing images when the listing is taken down? Have 20k images from old listings eating space.

You can find this option under Listing Options >> Automotive Settings >> Delete Associated Images :)

Guys, I am getting stuck on automotive theme update. After starting the process, the last message seeing in the WordPress panel is:

“Removing old version”

After a while stucked on this message I tried to reload the site and got these error messages:

Note—> replaced the orinal directory name by DIRECTORYNAME just for a security reason.

In contact with hosting support we restored full account bakup and tried again to update the theme, we got the same error message.

Anyone has any idea of what is going on?

It sounds like you could have some sort of hosting or ownership or permissions issue going on with those files. First off check to see if those files are physically present if you browse via FTP. If they are, check to see if the owner and group set to ‘directoryname’ (whatever your username is). Third, make sure all of your file permissions are 644 and your folders are 755. If none of these things fix your issue then you will need to renew your support on ThemeForest and open a Support Ticket including temporary login details for wp-admin and FTP so we can investigate further. Thanks! :)

Hi this is my first question about your theme and have 2 licenses, but my support is expired. I have updated everything to latest version, but as soon as I activate the Bakery Visual Composer my Homepage and Admin get 500 error and in admin I get (There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.). What can be wrong? I also removed the folder manually js_composer and installed it again via the zip file. Please help I cannot open a ticket cause of my expired license.

I found it, it was memory limit in PHP ini. changed it from 32M to 256M

Is there a template I can use for use with All Import plugin so I can run on a cron.

If I plan to create multiple sites for myself do I need multiple licenses?

You need a license for each domain name the theme will be used on. If you are making subdomains off of the main website (that will be using separate WP installs, but as part of the same overall single website), then a single license will cover this.

For some reason the inquiries and contact emails no longer send any emails to me.

There are a whole bunch of possible reasons why WordPress may not be sending mail (none of which are any fault of the Automotive theme or plugin), but here are a few things to check:

1.) Check that you have the proper email address set under Settings >> General >> Email Address as well as under Theme Options >> Contact Settings

2.) Check to see if WordPress send email through your web server (Try the ‘Forgot your password’ link on /wp-admin/

3.) Some hosting providers require special settings to be applied to your WordPress installation in order to send emails from WordPress. You may need to contact your hosting provider and work with them to ensure emails are being sent correctly from your WordPress installation. Some hosts don’t support PHP’s mail function. They often claim it’s to reduce spam since the PHP mail() function can be used to send email defining the from address as whatever you want without having to authenticate. You should be able to get confirmation from your hosting provider that php mail() is functioning correctly from your hosting account.

4.) If your hosting provider does not support wp_mail and the standard PHP mail() function, you can try to configure email sending from WordPress using SMTP (another type of mail service).

5.) Ensure Proper Return Address is Used: The From: address used in the Mail section of the CF7 interface can be important in determining if an email is able to be sent via the CF7 plugin. Some hosting requires that any emails being sent via WordPress are from a valid email address on your local domain.

6.) Check to make sure it is not going to spam. Emails can be considered spam for a whole host of reasons and get rejected at many points in the email process in addition to your spam folder.

7.) Disable any additional plugins (that were not included in the theme package) and test it again to ensure there are no conflicts.

Pre-sales question. really like your theme. I run an RV Dealership. we include trailers as well as motorhomes and camper vans. would there be any reason why we would not be able to use this theme? obviously the theme is geared towards cars – would there be a conflict since I will be listing RV’s and trailers? is there a web link available where I can see more details on the inventory management controls?

I have two licences for this theme, and really like it. Can you tell me how I would set the site so that the ‘SOLD’ stock were at the end of the stock list? I want the SOLD items to still be there, but I want the ‘for sale’ ones to be presented first?

With the latest update of the theme the car search module on the home page has stopped working

I do not agree to have to contract another support period. The problem is in your update. Can I hire only 1 month of support?

We have almost 10,000 registered installs and have not had any other reports of an update causing the problem you are experiencing. We will keep monitoring our support system and let you know if we get any other users with the same problem. If we do, we will follow up on this comment thread and advise you if a solution to a similar problem comes available. Typically when there is a significant bug (such as the car search module no longer working) it will get reported by many users within hours of a release being published. We have tested numerous copies on our end and cannot replicate this problem. At this point we do not have any reason to suspect a bug in our product. We will follow up with you right away if that changes!

I have used this theme for years and I really like it. I have this issue though and I would appreciate some FOC support to rectify it as most things I can resolve but this issue is baffling me. The below now always comes up when you search for a car in the inventory screen. Error 404: File not found. That being said, we will give you an amazing deal for the trouble. Home 404 If you are trying to view a listing but are seeing this page you need re-save your permalinks by going under Settings >> Permalinks and re-saving the existing settings (This message is only visible to site administrators)

Hi Gary – I would recommend you try re-saving your WordPress permalink settings under Settings >> Permalinks and hopefully that will resolve it for you. Hi, The search in the listing page doesn’t really work, when I go to the listing page it doesn’t show me all the categories in the search module, it shows me all the categories if I click on the first choice of the list. Can you see this bug?

I think I found the solution by selecting “Listing Category” in keyword search in the listing options. Now it shows me all the categories.

Is it a chance to update from 12.8 to 17.4?

WP says: It doesn’t look like you have entered a valid ThemeForest Username & API Key. To receive updates for the plugin you must validate this information in the Update Settings section.

Envato has forced everyone off of their old API and onto a new one. You will need to manually update your Automotive Theme to at least theme version v10.7 and Automotive Listings plugin to at least v13.6, and then go to Theme Options >> Update Settings and connect your Envato account to the new API. After you do that you should be able to automatically update the theme and bundled plugins like WPBakery Page Builder.

Before starting the update process we would recommend taking a site backup as it is quite a large version jump, just in case anything were to go wrong you can restore back to your current version.

Is it possible to put a scroller on the “search inventory box”?

I’m not exactly sure what you are wanting to accomplish, but if you mean you physically want a scroller inside or on top of the ‘Search Our Inventory’ widget that would require some customization. Can someone tell me how to disable the sticky header please?

Thanks for looking into it. I’ll see how long it takes for the update. My support ran out long ago. I guess I may have to pay the $60 and renew support for another 6 months…
