Hello p-themes! After using long time your amazing theme, I installed WPML to translate it. All is fine EXCEPT FOR porto elements (eg porto headings) whose fields donot appear in WPML to translate them! But in Porto features it is mentioned that is WPML compatible. Am I missing something here? What shall I do? Thanks

Thank you p-themes. My issue is solved. Being Porto such a complete theme, it is a pitty to miss this small but important translation detail in the documentation. To help buyers not spending time, I suggest you mention a notice and an example in your documentation. The exact answer with an example is in this WPML page:

Sorry to say that but this is not our theme issue, this is how the contact form 7 plugin works, you have to try with some custom code to achieve your desired…I do not agree with that. When using a different theme, Ajax sending works fine. I tested it with a different theme.

This code was already used in another site. One standard license is valid for only 1 website. Running multiple websites with a single license is a license violation according to Envato license terms. Lately I lost a website to Porto.
I had to use another template because Porto doesn’t have a variety of Furniture demos!
Porto needs additional Demos for Furniture Shops, Skin Care Shops.

We are using the restaurant theme. The issue is that top area on the homepage under the header – i.e. the section with the title and the background image.
We were hoping to be able to change the background image for desktop vs mobile, but that does not seem possible. The main issue we are having is that the image does not resize properly on mobile.
We have tried adding CSS to try and handle the resize, but it has not seemed to have worked. Can CSS not be used here to “contain” the image so that we can still view the entire thing? (Currently, on mobile, all we see is the centre portion of the background image.)
The site is not currently live, hence me not posting the URL.
Please advise.

This is the restaurant demo that was imported and the background image is associated to the row, which makes life a little difficult as I am unable to change the visibility on a row. Is there perhaps an easy CSS workaround?

No, Sorry to say that but this is not possible with small Custom CSS, because there is a content on it and it a particular height as well, so if we set the image as contain using Custom CSS then it neglect the height and the a large empty space will create and lets suppose we also remove that gape using Custom CSS then what about the text on it, we have to set that text small with Custom CSS as well properly and finishing and responsiveness on mobile version etc, so its not simple, but if still if you want to go with CSS, then we can help you with the possible ways, for that you have to make your site live and contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so that we will check it on your site and help you out with possible ways.

Actually, the Resume template is the One Page template/Demo, and when you go to WP-Dashboard >> Pages, you will find only the home page and the sample page, so then edit the home page you will find WP Bakery Element “Porto Floating Menu” so basically the floating menu is made using the Porto Floating Menu element, so you have to edit the element and change the URL as per your requirements, and the floating menu on site other pages like, Blog or Post is coming from the Blocks, so go to WP-Dashboard >> Blocks and finds and edit the Menu Block and change the Links/URL’s as per your requirements.

No Problem. I was using Elementor instead of WP Bakery. And that was the Problem. With Bakery, everything works fine.
So: DO NOT USE ELEMENTOR WITH CV!

And please note that if you imported the WP Bakery version of the Demo and trying to edit the content via Elementor page builder then it will mess up your site and always show you the shortcodes, and wise versa for all the page builders, so you should have to edit the content via same page builder with which you have imported the Demo.

Here is the error message that came back to me: An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR has been caused in line 360 of the file …/wp-content/plugins/porto-functionality/elementor/elements/porto_section.php. Error message: Access level to Porto_Elementor_Section::get_html_tag() must be protected (as in class Elementor_Section) or weaker

And the cache folder you are talking about is not because of the theme but it might be because of any plugin, so you can simply delete that folder by right-click it.

Hi, I want to buy theme to create a shop. I want to sell wood tables and price would be widtlengthpriceOfSelectedWoodPerArea + type of finish(gloss, paint)*paintPricePerArea. Total price for item should be calculated dynamically. Is there a way to create such in Your theme together with Woocommerce? I read few forums but did not find a ready solution in Prestashop. Hope Woocommerce has this functionality. Size shuld be input by typing digits rather than using some dropdown.
