Please edit your blog post and click “Screen options” on the top right corner and check “Excerpt” and then scroll below your content and add excerpt into the excerpt field and it should show up

Hi there, I am trying to set up a shop on my website. I have two questions. When you go onto the shop on the site, link is: https://9va.18f.myftpupload.com/shop/ It seems two display the pictures at the top with big grey borders, Where underneath it displays them again properly. How to I get rid of the boxes with the big grey borders? then spread the ones below across the whole page if that makes sense.
Second question is when I try to set up the payments for woocomerce, it doesn’t give me the option of paypal or debit/credit cards. How to I enable them?

Hi there, was there a change in the display of product galley in WooCommerce with last Enfolds theme update? all the products with gallery images attached don’t show the main product image (single product page)..while other products without additional gallery images are show correctly… once I switch in the theme panel from option “WooCommerce 3.0” gallery to ‘Enfold product gallery’ everything’s shows correctly again… I just need to understand if this a bug while using the other option or if this is something you are phasing out… thanks

Only WooCommerce related change in the last update was a fix related to cart function. I checked WooCommerce 3.0 product gallery option on my local installation however it works fine on my end. Since we have not received reports from other users, I believe this might be related to something specific to your installation.

I’m using Enfold by Kriesi, version 3.8. After my host updated the PHP version 7.4 to PHP 8.0 on the server, my website go’s blank. Is the 4.8 version of Enfold updated for PHP 8.0?

The version you are using is very old and is not compatible with current version of WordPress and your PHP version. Enfold 4.8.8.1 is compatible with PHP 8.0. Updating the theme to the latest version would fix the issue

Hi I am using the advanced layer slider I have done an animation, and in preview it works. When I go to the homepage the slider doesnt animate and the elements are allready there if that makes sense. Is there a reason why? the site domain at the moment is: https://9va.18f.myftpupload.com/ You can see the bus doesnt animate in, but then does when the slide comes round again. Thanks

Icon box height would depend on its content. If you would like to set a minimum height for your icon boxes, please edit them and go to Advanced > Developer Settings and give them a custom ID (“custom-id” in example below) and then add following code to bottom of Quick CSS field in Enfold theme options > General Styling tab#custom-id .iconbox_content { min-height: 200px; }Regards, Yigit

I have already bought a licence for one of my websites and will buy another one these days and probably one more the coming month. Just to be sure I would like to ask you something else. You wrote that the price of 59 USD is for a single domain. Is it a lifelong licence or I have to buy the licence every year for each domain? I have already asked the same, however I could not understand completely what you mean with lifetime updates.

Issues with Multilanguage
Hi, if working with Multilanguage-Plugins Enfold should show “Enfold Options” for every language.
There are flags in the left admin sidebar, you choose the flag, you set the homepage for every language separate….and so on.
This way you can have different settings for every language. Thats how it should be.
I use Polylang and there are issues.
- I can change the language via the switcher in the admin bar
- But when i change the settings (e.g assigning the english homepage) it does change the settings – but generell for all other languages too – including the default language
Please advice me how to fix that bug/error. Thanks Paule

Enfold is fully compatible with WPML and when using WPML, you have separate theme options for each language by default. Unfortunately, other multilingual plugins do not support this feature.

I had a designer create a webpage using Enfold a few years ago. The Enfold does not have the current versions and seems not to work with Elementor. How can I get the most current version? My version is 4.4…, when I update on WP, it says that I have the most current version, which I do not. I have the API number if that helps. Jim

Envato has updated their API and replaced API keys with Personal Tokens. We have implemented updated API in Enfold 4.5 so any version older than that requires a manual update first. You can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and update Enfold to the latest version 4.8.8.1.
Please contact the person who has purchased the theme for you and request your Personal Token and updated theme files from them. If that is not going to be possible, I am afraid you would need to purchase a new license to have access to theme files.

1: Does Enfold supports “Polylang” (multilingual plugin)?
2: Its mandatory that every language shows a cookie consent window in its actual language. Can this be done?
2.2: I already checked your forum about the cookie consent window, but the solutions i found were not convincing and looked more like a very simple workaround instead of a proper solution. Can you point me to a thread that shows that it really will works?
3: Even the footer socket and the header part that contains additional elements like phonenumber needs to be available in different languages. Can this be done?

Yes it does and there are many Enfold users using Polylang plugin to make their website a multilingual one. However it is not one of the official compatible plugins.
In your case, we would recommend WPML. If you use WPML, you would be able to change theme options per language and will be able to set separate cookie consent window, header and footer information.

Hi, I have one main template that I am using from Enfold. I want to expand our services with rentals. I have found an other template that has the functions we need to deliver this service. The template is not from enfold So in this case I Wold like to import one more template that I can use as on Page for our services, so in this case I would like to use multipal teams and Demo but Enfold as Main like it is now.

If you have HTML of the template you would like to import, you can simply switch to default editor and paste it in text tab. If you have shortcodes, you can paste them into Code Block element of Advanced Layout Builder.
