I’m reading that the error that the load of listings is fixed when you update your theme. I just did that but it still doesn’t work..

With respect to your query here, kindly check the number of listings set to display within your listing page there. Also check if you are using any custom codes within your child theme or your main theme as these may cause these issues. Hi, I’ve found that the front page with the drop down search bar and “Search” button does not work.. Is there anyway to disable it entirely or remove it? I’d like to put in a button there that says “Browse Listings” but I cannot find anywhere within the theme to remove it.. Please help!

With respect to your query here, removing the search filters there can be done under the customizer section under Appearance > Customize > Listings > Search Filters > Homepage Filters and thereby remove all filters. Adding a button there is part of custom work coding which does require additional coding knowledge. I would suggest reaching out to a developer for further assistance.

With respect to your query here, you seem to have the filters already removed from your homepage as far as i can tell. You may want to have them returned via Appearance >. Customizer > Listings > Search filters > Homepage filters. You can also set them on a different page and set it to use the Page Home Listings template within your WordPress admin.

Does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of directory listings that can be created?

With respect to your query here, there is no limit to the number of directory listing you can create with the theme. Users are allowed to create an unlimited number of listings.

With respect to your query here, the functionalities you mention here come as additional features required by the theme and are provided by additional plugins.
First it is possible to hide the location or price(displayed in terms of plans).
This is currently not possible to provide free ads for a new user when you have already created plans for adding listings. This is usually applied to all users.
Thirdly, you can set an expiry date for the ad to be removed or not displayed.
Fourthly, yes there are expired ads and they can be hidden. Tags can be added but we do not have a limit to them.
On the sixth, you can not remove ads based on days unless you use the expiry feature or the plans and package feature.
Seventh, the images on the theme can lazy load as this is coded within the theme. However in any case you do not notice this effect you can always get available plugin for this functionality.
Eighth, users can only register based on the email address they provide. For that you may need extra custom plugin to achieve it. Nine, this is not something we have tested at the moment but we can assure you that the page speed is relatively high on mobile especially.

Hello,
I posted these questions in the chat on your website but I haven’t got a reply, so I am asking them here.
Is it possible to add checkboxes or some other selection elements to the homepage?
Is it possible to use wordpress field add-ons for the elements or fields that are not on the theme and get information of what was entered in those fields with code?
Is it possible to add information about the listings and reviews in code (by setting values for specific elements or fields that are on the listing page) or by adding my database, then show those listings on the search results by using a function or some other code after clicking a button?

With respect to your query here, first with the theme does not have options to add fields with checkboxes on the homepage elements.
Secondly, with WordPress, you can only use extra widgets made by WordPress but not fields. However the default WordPress custom fields can be used in any theme. Should you need other fields to be displayed in the frontend including those with checkboxes we recommend using the Field Editor by WP Job Manager.
Thirdly, adding info about listings or reviews in code is currently not something we have tested. We display listings first using the basic shortcodes inserted on the WordPress admin page section. However hard coding the theme in order to display listings is not something we have done and definitely do not recommend doing it as it is out of our support scope.

I updated the Listify theme today and I got a Fatal Error message: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Astoundify_ThemeForest_Updater’ not found…. I’ve never had a problem in the past updating the theme. I’ve had to reinstall a back-up. Please advise on how to fix this problem.

Also this listify-child/woocommerce/emails/customer-new-account.php version 3.7.0 is out of date. The core version is 6.0.0, has been out of date since last few updates, can they sort it please?

Can I use elementor free and elemntify to create single listing template and apply it to all single listings

The most recent Listify update has blocked out our listing contact details email and phone numbers. This is vital for our website visitors to be able to see this information. There is no documentation on how to revert this ‘new’ feature. NOT HAPPY

With respect to your query here, this is a feature that was included in the previous update which requires users to have a paid membership for them to view the phone number and email. Its options are under Appearance > Customize > Widgets [Single Listing Page] > Single Listing Sidebar > Listing Maps and Contact Details as shown here: https://prnt.sc/26mq4nq.
I have already forwarded this issue as urgent to our dev’s team to include an option to show it for site admins who wish to display this information publicly. In any case we get some feedback we will let you know.

Another pre-purchase question – when the user signs up for an account, is it possible to add custom fields to the signup form? Ideally we’d need a file upload field. Thanks.

With respect to your query here, well that is not possible with the default functionality of the theme. However you can add more custom fields with the Field Editor for WP Job Manager plugin as the sign up form is within the listing creation.
If you want to use the WooCommerce registration then you can only use the default fields. To add more custom fields would be something that requires custom work or alternatively going for the plugin: Custom User Registration Fields.

Does appointify not work for every user signed up in the directory where each user can assign their own calendar? It appears it’s only for the primary site owner.

With respect to your query here, the Appointify plugin is only meant for listings which are added by the site admin whereby he has admin privileges to include the calendar on the frontend so that the users can book appointments based on his availability schedule.

Pre-purchase questions: what control is there over the various membership bands? Can you limit certain functionality for cheaper member bands? For example, we might want to hide the booking calendar for cheaper listings, but include it on the more expensive ones. Thanks.

With respect to your query here, well the functionality of listing plans is usually controlled by a separate plugin known as Listing Payments which is in conjuction with WooCommerce. Usually there are indeed limit features but they only limit things like number of listings, duration and purchase limit. When it comes to visibility of other features this is not included yet.
However you can use the Visibility by WP Job Manager plugin to handle this amongest your members.
