Could you please go to Enfold theme options > Performance and disable “JS file merging and compression”, save theme options, clear cache and check if that helps?

I have inherited a site from another developer. I want to remove layer slider from theme and replace it with a responsive static image on the homepage. The plugin is causing issues with the site, I have tried paying for the full license and updating the plugin but it doesn’t solved the problem I am having. If i disable the plugin – it works fine. Private content field area would show when you click the link you receive in your inbox. I tried emailing you but it was not delivered so I edited your password once again and set it to your email. Please login using your email as password and then change it in your profile

Hi, I have a client website with Enfold version 4.5.7 (still the envato token version). I just purchased a license and wanted to check the token to update to the newest version. Hi – a client of ours brought a website to us using this theme. However, the footer no longer respects the widgets selected in the WordPress widgets section and is instead showing “Interesting links”, “Pages” and “Categories”. Is there a way of fixing this?

Please make sure to insert your widgets into Footer widget areas. “interesting links”, “Pages” and “Categories” are default widgets and are displayed when Footer widget area is empty.

Yes, it would but to be on the safe side, please have a backup and then update the theme to the latest version. I updated many older versions (3.x) and have not had any issues

Hi, I cannot update my 2 websites that has Enfold from 4.8.9 version to 4.9. I clicked the update button but it gave this error: An error occurred while updating Enfold: Update package not available. After that I do not see any update option even if I click the check manually. I checked the 3rd site of my friend that has Enfold and it is updated. The same server config and the same PHP version. What could be the reason?
I could update one site. And the other one resists. If I wait a little it may does that who knows.

I installed the plugin, clicked update and seen the PHP error below. This update made my version 4.6.3.1 ( I had 4.8 ). I have 2 licenses so I created a new token then updated Enfold but still the same version ( 4.6.3.1) and PHP warnings are the same. What is happening? Should I do it manually?

Woow.. this process created Enfold-old directory seen via FTP. So the process created a new theme basically. I activated enfold-child again. There is no problem. That was weird.

I am guessing there was already a theme called Enfold-old because updating the theme would not create a new one, it would install (or overwrite if already installed) “enfold” folder inside /themes/ folder.
Nevertheless, I am glad this was resolved.
