Apparently the new update for Avada is breaking websites all over the place and ThemeForest isn’t kind enough to simply publish the solution. For one of my clients, who I have used Avada for without issue, this time around the update ambushed us with half an update.

The builder updated fine, but the core update went on forever, spawning several errors that appear to be related to an inability to connect to Avada’s servers to complete the update. That has rendered the Avada Builder plugin “inactive” which of course trashes the website.

So while Avada has been a reliable tool despite a few bumps along the way, which are ALWAYS related to updates, this time it appears updating to the newest version demands strict pre-backup protocol. You should be backing up anyways, not that this will fix the current issue which also appears to be trashing site performance.

Beyond the inability to update Avada Core the side “crap show” is at least in this site’s case, it is unresponsive and simple actions cause it to time out.

So it appears ThemeFusion and Envato will squeeze an additional update funding out of us so we can task ThemeFusion to fix what should not require fixing.

(Now I am looking at a “white screen of death” for the front page, thank you very much ThemeFusion. Now how about fixing your server issues? I should not have to pay for that to work.)

The Avada update released several days ago is not breaking sites all over, otherwise, our support would be seeing support tickets along these lines, and right now we are not.

This message “Update failed: Connection lost or the server is busy. Please try again later.” is not related to the actual update process, it is server-related.

Avada server obviously came back up or at least stopped timing out. Per the ThemeFusion community forums, this update is causing issues. Also, the server error reported is copy and paste from the Avada Server Status check. The only problem I had was your server being down. $42 plus a service fee to renew support for a server issue? I have serviced clients that have used Avada for over ten years and own a couple of licenses. I know to clear all the caches, including Avada’s, any browser and on occasion, those servers that allow it, but this was a server issue which thankfully resolved shortly after my initial post. Thanks for fixing that.

Hi guys, I updated Avada theme to version 7.7.1 on my dev site, update Avads Core and Avada Builder plugins and it broke the site. It was working just fine till this morning and I did not make any other edits to the site. Are you aware of any bugs with your latest update?

The plugins which comes with Avada such as rev slider, layer slider, etc; will i get to update them when those plugin releases newer versions? Or does it come with a separate license

Please log in to the support account, navigate to the “Purchase Codes” tab, scroll down and click the “Recently Renewed? Apply Extension Now” button > https://d.pr/i/OcKpGa – this will ensure that purchase codes are validated and that will then be applied to your support account.

After upgrade to Avada Version 7.7.1, it generates this error at menu editor:

I purchased my avada theme years ago and my support has expired a long time ago as well. Now I changed the domain that used my avada license, but it won’t let me register to a new website. My old site doesn’t exist anymore. How can I change it so it connects with my new website?

Then navigate to the “Register Purchase Code” tab in your account are to see/add purchase codes.

We have changed our subdomain from dev to staging and now it wouldn’t let us update the theme? but i don’t know where i can access to update the sub domain for license?

There is no issue with changing the domain and theme updates should not be hindered by it, as far as you have your product registered properly you should get the updates without any issues, please make sure that your purchase is registered with a valid code and then make sure that none of your 3rd party is conflicting with the update, if the issue persists however we will need you to open a support ticket with our team and we will take a closer look into this.

Yes, you can definitely remove the rollover from Avada > Global Options > Extras > Featured Image Rollover area and to disable the link completely you can simply use pointer-events CSS.

Thanks for that. I’ve removed the rollover and added the below css to the page (https://psrastaging.wpengine.com/publications/news-press-releases/press-releases/) itself but the image is still linking through to the page.

Am I missing some more css?

I have a support question and am on the support site https://theme-fusion.com/support/submit-a-ticket/ yet you all are saying my support expired? Yet even themeforest says I have 8 months left since I bought more. Yet I cannot contact anyone to ask why you are denying me my support which I did pay for. Please help. I have several licenses.

My issue is with Lightbox. I watched the video and followed the instruction yet I cannot get the video to open as a single video in youtube they way you show in your tutorial. Yet when I do it it still shows the regular youtube video format. Video, sidebar of videos on the right side and comments below. I do not want that I want exactly what you have in the tutorial. Please login to your support account at https://theme-fusion.com/support/account/ Once you are logged in your account, click on the register purchase code tab. Screenshot here → https://prnt.sc/JOD0Gs3pbsym Scroll to the bottom of the page and you should see the option to “Recently Renewed? Apply Extension Now!”, Screenshot here → https://prnt.sc/ugqRoq2wyXj_ Click on this and it should update your account. If you have purchase a new copy then make sure the purchase code of this copy is added to your support account. At our end, we do see your support valid

1) Cookie consents are saved in the browsers. This is how all cookies works (via the browsers). There is no information stored within the Avada console for this. User can always clear cache/cookies and they will see the consent notice show up again

2) Yes. You can invert colors of containers which is part of our new update. However, you can not switch on the fly between a light and dark mode
