Hello, I’ve been working with this theme for a couple years now. Recently, I just noticed that my rental property listings are not working correctly on mobile, specifically using Safari. Have you noticed this issue before or know what could be causing this? If you scroll down on the homepage there are 3 featured listings. I tested on mac – safari – safari ios simulator and work as well.
I am not sure if this happens exclusively for you on a specific Safari version, it is a strange behavior if it would happen only on your device

I see property with name ‘Modern Villa with Pool’ with rate $45/night, is possible to change $45/night to button with caption ‘ask us for rate’ or similar like that?

Hi, I want to add bulk neighbourhoods/areas with a plugin and add them to certain Cities, which is fine… But it allocates these to the first City only. For example, I want to add 30 areas and then assign them to London as a city in bulk. How can I achieve this efficiently? It will take too long to assign them individually.
Hi oktaycinpolat, Thank you for the comment. I am not aware of an import solution for taxonomies that can also create the city -> area dependency.
In submit form, if you use city and area as dropdowns, they are independent. If search, if you use city and area as dropdowns, they are independent too. So if you want to use city and area as dropdown, you could import without making the city -> area connection.
We have other options to manage location. You may not need to import either.

You did not understand my question, payment option is not there that is ok, no problem, They can send payments manually but at least there should be a system where admin and owners can see entries. They can change the status manually like this payment has done. Like someone booked a accommodation with 50% booking amount and all that amount will go to admin and rest of the 50% owner will get at the time of check-in. and there are 20,50 bookings like this. Then how they can check how much admin have to pay to that owner. There is no reporting system.

I do not understand the question very well. You want to sell tickets to Spa? The Rentals theme will not work as a ticket selling solution, we do not use stocks.
If you add a Spa as listing, a booking will block the availability for the period booked by 1 person. I think Spas need to sell more tickets, but the theme will not support that kind of system.

Many schema types are available, some maybe offering better structured data and compatibility for real estate, property rental themes.
How about replacing “Product” with something like “RealEstateListing”?
I understand that “warnings” shouldn’t really effect SERP visibility, but error’s and the lack of rich results certainly do.

We chose product because it is the closest to WpRentals functionality , rentals services
From schema descriptionAny offered product or service. For example: a pair of shoes; a concert ticket; the rental of a car; a haircut; or an episode of a TV show streamed online
In our RealEstate theme we added the RealEstateListing schema, but for Rentals this was the closest and RealEstateListing does not fit I am afraid.
We can check a different schema, but must be a rental oriented. If you have a suggestion, please let me know and we can re-check this.
You mention lack of rich results certainly affect SERP. We did not find information like this on relevant sites, but again we are open to add a different scheme for rentals if there is an alternative

As a result of the errors, rich results won’t be shown, so yes, this will effect what happens on the SERP and how they present to the user.
The only reason why we are looking into this right now is because of the massive drop we have noticed lately in visits to our site. The only obvious issues we can see right now are the ones mentioned. To allow us to move forward with our SEO work we need to correct the errors in the Google Search Console first.

On a re-read of the page https://www.w3.org/wiki/WebSchemas/VacationRentals, looks like that is a proposed schema type, but was put forward a long time ago. Not sure of it’s relevance today.
My suggestion of using “Organisation” as a substitute is from years of being a web-developer and having read many publications on this topic. Checking with schema.org does not show any errors, the problem is compatibility with Google, as already advised and can be seen from the Google search console screenshot.
I can’t open a ticket as I don’t have valid support and this is not something specific to our installation, this will affect anyone using the theme, a core issue.
