Hello @PT-Support2! Submit Search on Enter Key does not work. Nothing happens. Theme version – 6.3.2 Porto Theme – Functionality – 2.3.1
How can it be fixed?
Hello, @amzsupply,

Hello, Good day and congratulation for creating a very unique theme.
We have just purchased one license but if the theme works as we believe it should, we may need 3 for the sites we are working on, please can you kindly help us with this few questions.
1. The 3 sites we are working on are all multi-vendor sites, I have seen that your domo 22 was created with two multi-vendor plugins, we prefer using WCFM with Elementor, please can your 22 demo work with WCFM and Elementor out of the box?
2. I am not a professional developer with knowledge of codes but I can move few elements around to adjust designs, can you and your team help in setting up the theme and please can you kindly tell us if the site can be ready to be launched after the theme setup has been done.
3. With the WCFM and Elementor demo, what other plug-in is needed to have a fully functional E-E-commerce site.
4. Finally if we want to use another demo for multi-vendor site with WCFM and Elementor, example Demo 7 which we like so much because of it simple look and design, can you and your team assist us in setting it up?
Thank you in advance for your answers
Hello, @Duangmal,
1. I No Sorry to say that but this is not possible with the Elementor plugin as the MultiVendor Shop Demo 22 will work with (Dokan) with WP Bakery and Elementor but with the (WCFM) plugin it only works with the WP Bakery plugin as shown: https://postimg.cc/4HkwvDJs
2. Yes it is a super easy theme and provides ready-made sites, so you can simply import the demo and change the content as per your requirements, you can contact us via our support system for the help here: http://portotheme.com/support
3. No other plugin is required, but the required and recommended plugins are already pre-packaged with the theme.
4. Yes, you can use any of the shop demos with WCFM plugin as you have to set up the plugin by yourself and you can ask for help via our support system.
Hi there,
We have submitted a support ticket, since your latest update we are experiencing issues editing Elementor product templates which are returning a 500 server error.
I have attached examples from the error.log and setup a test site with all plugins and themes removed.
This issue only happens when WooCommerce is installed.
When you get time can you please look into our support ticket as it is affecting our business.
Kind Regards
Andy
Hello, @BMTilbury,
Thanks for your contact, if you have already submitted the support ticket, then please be patience, once the support ticket will be resolved, you will get the reply to your support ticket accordingly.

Hi. I’d like to purchase this theme, but I have questions about the license policy.
For example, I have a domain mydomain.com and two Wordpress sites on it ( on mydomain.com and mydomain.com/en). Do I need to purchase this theme twice (for each site under the same domain)?
And what about Wordpress Multisite? If I use Wordpress Multisite and it has 2 sites in it, should I also buy the theme twice?
Hello, @nessy_karelian,
First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress
1 single license is for 1 single live URL only this is Envato policy and you may wish to confirm from them as well.
About the Multisite, yes you can use the single license for multisite. You have to contact us after the purchase and we will allow your license for multisite.
Please read our very latest announcement here: https://ptheme.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404831432337-Announcement-for-Porto-WordPress-purchased-Clients-regarding-License-Reset-

Hello, I would like to know if you can implement for your theme using Elementor, the ability to drag and drop the product selection field for widgets such as carousel, etc!
With WPBakery I saw that there is, it would be really very convenient! Otherwise the user would have to re-enter everything each time if he wanted to change the position of the products.
Furthermore, if the search for the selectable product can also be done with SKU or ID and not just the product name.
Do you plan to implement these things in the future? Thanks
Hello, @digimaticasagl,
Thanks for sharing the suggestion/feature request with us, I am forwarding this to our development department for considering to add it in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.
Thanks for your understanding.
Regards, P-THEMES.
Morning Porto Theme maker. We have purchased and install your theme using your install wizard, on a GoDaddy hosting platform using PHP7.4.
We’ve noticed when activate the Child theme, we cant get the top bar, head & navigation to display.
We have not changed any other content on configuration.
Could you supply a fix.
$rand .= $valid_characters[$which_character];
This is one of the major issues which crashes the WP site.
Hello, @jminst,
Which version of the PHP are you using on your site? And if you are using the Child Theme with Customization then please activate the Parent-Theme and check back, otherwise, please contact us via our support system with your site WP-Admin Login details so that we will check it for you on your site and help you out.
Hello! Thank you for the theme, it works great.
We found a small bug after the last update, the search button on the header is not working. We think it might be caused by a change to the Porto Functionality plugin, because everything went back to normal after rolling back to 2.3.0. The HTML seems fine (form + button[type=submit]), but there may be an event.preventDefault() somewhere causing this.
It would be great if you could take a look because it could also affect other clients. If you need more info about this, I can try to help or provide more info. If you need it, I can also send you a link to the website so that you can check it there (although it’s now “fixed” after downgrading).
Once again, thanks for the great work!
Hello, @cannblw,
Thanks for your notify, it has been fixed now, please reupdate the theme again and it will solve your issue, sorry for the inconviniance.
Regards, P-THEMES.
You’re great, thank you very much!

Hi Porto
Is it possible to display Product Category links on the Home Page (as shown on the screenshot below) ?
Screenshot link:
https://ibb.co/zSzYRZRI want to show a Category image on the left & Category links on the right.
I want to design a Online Shop for Power Tools & Accessories.
Is there an Element in the PortoStudio which I can use to create it ?
Thanks in Advance
Hi Porto
I have seen the Category links on Auto Parts Demo.
Link:
https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop42/Can you confirm this is what I need ?
Thanks
Hello, @Peaceonearth,
Actually, Yes you can. Let me explain to you. First of all, you have to set the category element in the page then the categories will appear on the site with the category data like (Images, Title, Description) after that you have to design it using custom CSS code in the Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skins >> Custom CSS at the bottom of the black box. by using custom CSS code you will set the category image on the left and the other data on the right as per your need. But in our theme there are some other beautiful layouts available as you can see in the image: i.is.cc/W1kQNyr.png you can choose one of them if you want otherwise you have to make the design using custom CSS code because its your requirement. If you are not able to do it then please contact us via our support forum where our customer support team member will help you to solve your issue. just share your site access with us while contacting us via our support forum.
Also, Sorry to say there is no element in the Porto Studio like this.
And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 14/03/2021. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.
Thanks for your understand.
Thanks for the update.
I’m extremely delighted to know that it’s possible !!
You’re Most Welcome!!
Hello, is there a way where I can set certain products to showcase in these home page sections.
And is there a way I can set certain images just to show on those home page sections. Since they just zoom in image and it makes it look worse
Example (Grand Theft Auto V) https://prnt.sc/M1J321-GHlC8Hello, @expckeys,
Actually, For now there is product element set that’s why the product appear and by default all the date related to the product appear in it like the images and you cannot set a different image there while using the product element. The thing you want is possible if you set just image element there and in the element settings set the image and the link on the image, like you set the (Grand Theft Auto V) image then set the (Grand Theft Auto V) product link on the image by doing this you can make it, this is the only possible way. I hope you understand.
Hi Porto;
Im adding the following shortcode in the page of “shop” with the main categories and subcategories (12 in total). [product_categories ids=”19,38,20,18,24,17,21,27,26,25,16,37”]
But in the web only are showing the 4 main categories by default (not the subcategories): https://www.candleart.es/it/negozio/ I don’t know why is not working, weeks ago was showing ok. Should work like in my other Portuguese languaje: https://www.candleart.es/pt-pt/loja/
I have cleaned cache but the same.
thanks Joaquín
Hello, @Joaquim_,
Please make sure that the categories or sub-categories which are not showing must have assigned the products, and if not then please assign the products to them and check back or also make sure to set the image for categories and sub-categories as well.
Otherwise please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so that we will check it for you on your site and help you out.
Hello Porto Team
After theme update at the footer appeared new widget: https://prnt.sc/5jK-rFmB92fu I tried to find where it is located, but I couldn’t find it in the blocks, widgets or anywhere else. So I had to revert to an older version.
Please check for yourself, something is incorrect with the latest update
Thank you,
Hello, @kliudziau,
There are 2 possible ways for the footer widgets, one under Appearance >> Widgets and the second one under Porto >> Template Builder >> Footer Builder.
If you are not able to find it then please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so that we will check it for you on your site and help you out.
And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 29/01/2022. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.
Thanks for your understand.
Hello,
Unfortunately it is not under Appearance >> Widgets or under Porto >> Template Builder >> Footer Builder.
After update appears new section “footer-bottom” which I cannot find anywhere. It shows copyright text and Porto logo. Before update this section doesn’t even exist.
I cannot keep it and wait till you check it, because it is a live site. So I have to revert to previous version.
Since it happens only after update – its on your side. You should check it on your side, why new section “footer-bottom” appeards after update with Porto logo and Copyright text, which doesn’t exist under Porto >> Template Builder >> Footer Builder or under Appearance >> Widgets.
Hello, @kliudziau,
Please clone your site and update the theme and share your cloned site WP Admin Login details with us via our support system so that our experts will check it for you.
Regards, P-THEMES.

3- some parts of the site only load completely after pressing F5 to refresh the page, including the wishlist icon. Screenshots 1: https://imgbox.com/jYvXRn2b Screenshots 2: https://imgbox.com/fspLnhwv Screenshots 3: https://imgbox.com/yISLFSMb Screenshots 4: https://imgbox.com/5S6sydZU

Waiting for help, thanks!
Hello, @yamaguchi_jp,
Please follow the below listed debugging processes one by one, I am sure it will help you in finding the cause of the issue as with our latest theme version, I have tested it at my end and finds it working perfectly, so the issue is on your site only.
I. Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
II. Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
III. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
IV. Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V. Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it
VI. If you have set up the Porto Speed Optimization Wizard, then please reset it and set all the options to default, uncheck all the options and save changes/compile and check back your site after removing the cache of the browser.
VII. Can you please check once by activating the WP default Theme Twenty Twenty, If the issue will still persist with the default WP Theme then it will make clear that the issue is not from Porto WordPress Theme and then you have to contact the WP and WooCommerce support for fixing it with the default WP Theme and once it will fix with the default WP Theme, It will automatically work with Porto WordPress Theme as well.

Hello! sir after having check the site in to the Gtmetrix and googlepage Speed every where has been showed this problem “Maximum Child Elements” Ex- https://prnt.sc/J_JmHzr72lYy now how to solve this problem??
Regards!!
Hello, @kashfulecommerce,
We are sorry that you faced some problems working with our theme. But our theme is one of the most optimized on the market. In general, our theme is already optimized and don’t have too many resources to make your website slow. Most likely, your website performance suffers from the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images or other resources. So we suggest you to remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache or use WP Rocket for both tasks. Also, you can use GTmetrix tool to see what makes your website slow and optimize these parts of your website.
First of all, we would like to tell you that Google very often scores with 20-40 points mobile performance for 99% of websites built with WordPress. To get more points you need to have a really light page. For example remove all sliders, carousels and leave a few banners and products only. Then you will get a high result. But usually, our theme works very fast on mobile devices and don’t have any problems with performance. We suggest you test it on a few mobile devices and you will see that there are no real performance problems. Google PageSpeed gives you recommendations on how to improve the performance of your web site, but it does not actually measure the speed (aka loading time) of your website. If your site loads fast, you can safely ignore PageSpeed’s recommendations.
The traffic depends on a lot of different factors and not our theme only. The only argument from you was your website’s low score on Google Pagespeed. But it can’t be because of that if your real website speed is quite fast. We suggest you read an article from the WP Rocket team – one of the most experienced companies in terms of WordPress optimization. https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/85-google-page-speed-grade-does-not-improve
Porto has optimized HTML, combined JS scripts, minified CSS, has style.css generator, conforms all the coding standards from WordPress (and it is checked and confirmed by Envato reviewers while uploading our theme to the market). We are always working on improving our theme’s speed and listen to all our customers’ reports. We release updates every 3-5 weeks so if any performance problems are reported they will be fixed asap.
Regards, P-THEMES.
thank you so so much! it’s absolutely super fast. and we want more functions in future! thanks for everything
Regards!
You’re Most Welcome

I have a problem with menus on Shop 31.
So when I switch menus here: https://prnt.sc/-Jyhguv97KRP it messes the icons and menu lists.
So the original looks like this : https://prnt.sc/aUXbtfx6R6YH And when I switch the order it goes like this : https://prnt.sc/j-aRzZTWzpEP
Basically I want to switch positions of the menus in navbar without losing their icons next to the next and without losing the style of the dropdown menus.

Cannot edit the menu links, all items link to http://sw-themes.com/porto_dummy/. I just sent this to prospective employers and it doesn’t navigate. I changed the menu links in both the customizer and the Appearance > Menu options and cleared cache and nothing happened. Still see the dummy links. I also removed the blog menu item and it still shows.
Please help, thanks!
Hello, @spoiler,
I have just checked your site now and finds all the menu items links are working fine and pointing to the particular section: https://postimg.cc/kVYhNQNJ
Hello Porto Theme Team,
two important questions: - I am using your Demo 33, however the Demo Version does not look the same as my Version, e.g. in the header sections, the font seems to be different although I did not change anything regarding it. Same with the search bar. Is there a way to resolve that problem? - When I try to add sections to the main page using WP Bakery Page Builder, nothing happens. When I look at the HTML Code, I see that the sections that I added are blocked. Do you know how to disable that?
Thanks in advance! KBG Team
Hello, @kbgchang,
1. It looks like you have edited/modified the header, so you have to removed the Demo content and Imported it again, otherwise, please contact us via our support system with a fresh new WP so that we will Import the Demo for you on your site.
2. Again we have to check it on your site, so please contact us via our support system with small video clip of your issue and with your site WP Admin URL and Admin Login details so that we will check and solve it for you on your site.
