Hi,
In Porto templates builder I have set a “Single” layout and then set a condition for the “Single Layout” to show on Single > Pages (no path set, last field is blank) but this does not show on all pages as expected?
There is a flashing Asterisk symbol on both the “Conditions” and “Studio” buttons in the template builder, should these be there?
Why would a single page template layout not show for a normal WordPress page?

First of all, here is documentation of this feature: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/single-builder-elements/ please read it carefully for a better understanding. The single type block will work on a single post and custom post Type pages like single posts, single portfolios, and so on. It will not work on the simple WordPress pages that we create on our sites like contact us, about us, and the front page. To set the content on these pages you can simply create a block of just block type and use this block shortcode on the simple WordPress pages. Please note that every type of block has its own functionality and it will work according to it. I hope you understand.

Custom Fonts Issues.
Hey guys, have been issues with your custom fonts mechanism for the last few updates that hasn’t been properly rectified.
I have no reason why this is happening but when a custom font is uploaded to the font control area and then set in typography, it’s not showing on the website. Previous versions of Porto don’t seem to have this issue.
I initially thought it was caching, but I’ve cleared caches on both browser, and server level to no avail. After inspecting element I can see that the particular headings are indeed set to using the custom font name, but it’s not recognised. I can’t help but feel this is an issue with the update. Can you please investigate it as I’m not the only one having these issues.

I can assure you, it is not an error in my development – rather something that has gone wrong with the Porto update when it comes to using custom fonts with a child theme.
It is quite easy for you to replicate the error on your end. 1. Upload a custom font in FONT CONTROL 2. assign the custom font to various headings (main menu, or h1 etc) 3. Activate porto child theme (font will not render) 4. Activate porto main theme (font will render)

I have tested the same thing on my test site, I uploaded the custom font in the theme options then I set the custom font on all the heading tags then I check the preview on the site the custom font appears just fine and it is working fine with the child theme I made a video while I was testing it, here is the link to the video: https://streamable.com/vxzn8f you can see the video there is no issue working perfect.
So please clone your site as a test site and share the credentials with us via our support system so that our experts will check it for you and help you out.

Thanks so much for going to the effort with the video. The video you took (although it seems to be working correctly) actually is proof of my comment.
If you take a look through your video again, you’ll notice that even though the inspector states that the font is Readex Pro as you’ve set in your theme settings, infact – the font that’s been displayed is not ReadEx Pro, although to the naked eye it may look like it has worked correctly (because all sans-serif look a little similar), if you do the same test with a different font style completely, you’ll notice that although the console indicates the font has been displayed correctly, the actual font is not correct (I know its a strange one)
You can see this by doing the same test, but at the end of the test – activate the porto parent theme instead of the child theme, then refresh the page – Only then will the true Readex Pro font show, once you reactivate the child theme; it then defaults back to that standard font which is shown in your video.
To further illustrate the issue: you can simply do the same test with an obviously different style and see that nothing changes – upload a custom arabic font or something, then do the same test and you’ll see it still uses the same default font (even though the console will state the font has changed – it doesn’t).

Thanks for your video. Your video actually shows the issue as worse than I thought. I mean – take a look at your own video.
1. You upload a font called B_ARABIC_STYLE – which SHOULD look like this: https://fonts2u.com/b-arabic-style.font2. You updated your fonts to be b_arabic_style and then saved changes, and refreshed—and your fonts did not change to arabic.
This just proves my point. In fact, its worse than my original bug report because it doesn’t look like custom fonts are working at all under 6.3.2 in either parent theme or child theme.

Hi, The dentist theme is great but when installing the demo it also adds the “Dentist” custom post type but I cannot see where this is being set? Not in Porto Child theme functions file of in custom post type plugin etc…?
Can you tell me where to remove this custom post type, please?
I have also tried:

Found it, its labeled “Dentist” but actulally just the “member” custom post type.

Yes, It is actually the Member Custom Post type and we have renamed it as Dentist in that particular Demo and you can turn this ON/OFF from Porto >> Theme Options >> Member.

Hi, in Product options – Product Layout. How can we select that Sticky info is used by all products? Global setting for this? Also how to display short description on single product pages? The theme is only showing Title and the Long description.

Actually, When you select the layout of sticky one from the theme options see image: i.is.cc/1vry3×1W.png the layout will be set to the choosing one on all products. For the short description when you edit a product there is tab for the short description add the content in it see image: i.is.cc/1vrHFl41.png add the content in this tab and it will appear on the single product page.

Hey guys! I do own multiple license of your theme, but updating made some of my site having an issue. The header now cover the first part of the page, so the breadcrums are now hidden below it.
Before there was the header, then the page started without the header overlapping any element of the page (slider, breadcrumbs, etc). Any fast fix? Best, A

I’ve added variation images for all products in the webshop with the “WooCommerce Additional Variation Images” plugin. In the backend the images are visible. But in the shop only the first (highlighted) variation is visible.

Sorry to say that but we have not officially tested the “WooCommerce Additional Variation Images” with the Theme, nor it is included in the third-party plugins compatible with the list confirmed from our end on the item page, So this is the third-party plugin issue, not the Theme issue.
You have two options, First, you have to contact the plugin author and ask the plugin author to Customize the plugin core files for you for making it compatible with the Theme for you.
Second, If you want us to Customize the Theme core files for you for making them compatible with the plugin, then you have to contact our Customization team for paid Customization services.

Hello. I’ve just updated the theme but I have this issue: I’m not able to redirect into functions.php, it’s changed since I have updated the theme. In my code I have the header(“Location: myURLexample”) but it doesnt’ work. Also, I’ve tried using wp_redirect but doesnt’work either. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for elaborating on your issue I have checked the link and it seems that you add custom code in the theme core files that don’t work with the theme’s latest version. AS you know that every new update had some bug fixes and some new features added to the theme so it is possible that after the new update the code conflicts with the theme code or does not work anymore. If you added the customization then please correct it by adding/adjusting the code again or contact your developer to fix it. It is totally a custom code issue. I hope you understand.

Please read and follow the below listed debugging processes one by one listed below, I am sure it will help you in finding the cause of the issue, and if not then please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so that our experts will check it on your site and help you out.
I. Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
II. Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
III. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
IV. Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V. Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it
VI. If you have setup the Porto Speed Optimization Wizard, then please reset it and set all the options to default, uncheck all the options and save changes/compile and check back your site after removing the cache of the browser.
VII. Can you please check once by activating the WP default Theme Twenty Twenty, If the issue will still persist with default WP Theme then it will make clear that the issue is not from Porto WordPress Theme and then you have to contact the WP and WooCommerce support for fixing it with the default WP Theme and once it will fix with the default WP Theme, It will automatically work with Porto WordPress Theme as well.Regards, P-THEMES.
